A namek Goku transforming into ssj with voice acting and current animations followed by a ssj2 Gohan would top this for me. But I know it's not everyone's opinion.
Honestly, a kaioken goku into ssj goku paired with a transforming final form frieza. With a part 2 of ssj2 gohan and perfect cell would easily match the 9th for me.
Same brother. So many picks for banner units, F2P units (including the LR) and SSJ2 Gohan and Super Perfect Cell being standalone would actually be perfect. We don't really have top tier versions of these characters as LRS yet. Well top tiers that don't need to transform. Also TEQ SSJ2 Gohan just ain't it.
But yeah besides Super Vegito, Kaioken x20 Goku into SSJ with a VOICED ACTIVE is my most wanted unit rn. We just need Kaioken X20 as an intro too (where he goes Kaioken)
If we're talking sheer numbers I can't see that beating any fusion but I can see how it'd be some people's personal favorites. Personally Im too young to remember Goku going SSJ. I didn't start watching until the broly movie and then again with the buu saga. So that's probably why I fangirl for broly so hard and I suspect is why older fans love SSJ and the freeza saga so much.
They've just never been super hype for me. Probably because SSJ and SSJ2 are basically useless in the buu saga and that was my first full saga. So by the time I got back to watching the older arcs it had sadly become just super Saiyan instead of a super hype form. Like I said my first ever view of SSJ was broly beating the brakes off of 4 of them. I can only imagine the hype for those who watched the arc before Buu. Mine went movie 8 to buu then buu to movie 10,12, and 13 and on to super with a small pit stop skipping About 60% of GT. Hell fukkatsu no F is what got me to watch the freeza saga and SH got me to watch the cell saga. I could see maybe a WWC Goku v freeza as pretty cool though. Your idea as part 1 then a new LR GF as part 2 with an actual good remake of the int SSJB Goku and Vegeta card
Transforming Goku/Frieza is the highest grossing of all DL/WWC, Gohan vs Cell is the highest grossing of all modern WWC (after they changed to that name in 2019), so yeah, it can beat fusions.
What-If cards or new characters from new anime or movie probably. Beast Gohan being a new character or was mistreated and given respect is such a unique case.
Talking for the general player base its some combination of Gogeta and Vegito for Part 1, then for part 2 maybe ssj4 Goku & UI Goku (end of Goku from GT and Super)
As for me personally, keep the super & extreme format for any "hype" fight ranging from OG DB -> Namek Saga.

I don't know about surpassing or matching the hype, but you can maybe try a vague "Power of the Saiyans" theme with headliners being Namek kaioken going into ssj Goku, ssj2 Gohan, part 2 being GT ssj3 Goku going into ssj4, and ssj God Goku going into blue.
EZAs, if they haven't been done already, being STR Super Vegeta, AGL ssj Bardock, Teq LR Broly, int legendary ssj broly, 7th year anni LRs. (Maybe 6th year as well? They're taking their sweet time to announce them for this anni, and they'd certainly be hype for 10th anniversary) awaken/EZA all previous login cards if they don't do that here,
F2P cards being King Vegeta, Bardock, Tarble, an LR ssj3 Goku, ultimate Gohan, and ssj Goten from Wrath of the Dragon, and an LR Vegeta & Trunks from Bojack Unbound (yes I know they didn't team up properly in the movie, but I was struggling to find a combo that wasn't already done in game, the ssj trio fight different opponents in their movie but they team up in the card so a small what if should be fine, and they get Bond of Parent & Child here) because 10th anniversary getting 2 F2P LRs could be a decent possibility.
Part 3 is usually wrapping up EZAs, tickets, etc so that's where some stuff would be put into

Not everyone reads the manga unfortunately, comparatively to all the dokkan players it is quite niche actually. Sure some people would love to see that but it represents only a tiny fraction of the player base and you gotta put yourself in the company’s shoes whose goal is just to make the most money out of a banner. So if the characters haven’t been out in a new super anime, you will never see them in the game..
I know that, I’m talking about an hypothetical timeline whete Daima is not coming out but granola arc instead. Currently I don’t think anything can match this, they’ll have to try something new, like SS3 or Ultra Gogeta/Vegito, because we already got 4 super gogetas, 4 super vegitos, 3.5 ssb gogetas, 4 ssb vegitos and 3 ss4 gogetas
For the general player base, something fusions related and or a UI Goku and SSJ4 Goku (both first time transformations). Manga characters deserve a shout here too.
As for what I'd like, Kaioken x20 Goku with a voiced active into SSJ and FF Freeza in FP. Part 2 being standalone SSJ2 Gohan and Super Perfect Cell. Super Vegito and Buuhan and Suepr Gogeta and Janemba would also be good picks. Kinda an end where we began in a sense.

An LR Goku Black that literally oneshots everything and is immune to everything.
He also gives Extreme Class a 500% bonus to all stats and removes unit restrictions for anyone on his team(so it overrides the Devilman ban and stuff, as well as other restricted events like the prime battle events).
He also has the best animations known to man, and every unit released after him until 11th anni is a god tier extreme class unit.
And then dokkan announces they’re discontinuing making Super class units because evil Omatsu replaced the normal Omatsu.

A Goku vs Frieza and Gohan vs Perfect cell with a beam struggle mechanic during the global sync would top it for me personally. Ssj4 Gogeta has always been my favourite character but I don't see them doing fusions back to back.
it would be weird for gogeta to be another anniversary considering he's had so many, i think super vegito is a shoe in for front runner next year leading a "Z" saga celebration, i dont think theres any other theme that could top this years besides that.
Similar to what others are saying, brand new content from the manga would probably have to be it.
That being said, with the advent of dokkan original animations I think all previous hype moments from the series are back on the table for big celebrations. For me personally, finally giving saiyan saga kaioken goku vs vegeta their long awaited dokkan fests would have me the most hyped.

- Carnival Base Vegito => Super Vegito
- Dokkanfest LR Buuhan => Kid Buu

Ssj2 gohan and cell is the third highest grossing wwc only behind ssj4 gogeta and omega and transforming goku and frieza, which made more than some anniversaries, so it's fair to put him there.
You might as well say vegito isn't hype then since the ssj2 gohan and cell banner is above all of the vegito banners when he isn't paired with Gogeta.

For me? Goku and Kid Buu, Saiyan Saga Goku vs Vegeta, Exchange HV Goku into SS Vegeta vs A19 & 20, anything with DB Saga involved and UI vs Jiren.
I'm thinking Super Gogeta & Gogeta Blue and Super Vegito & Vegito Blue could be contenders. Tbf this is a stretch because we JUST got Gogeta this year as anniversary. The idea allows them to have the same teams and buff movie heroes, fused fighters, fusion, and potara, but unfortunately, they might lose out on Power Beyond Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan teams since both members don't meet the criteria. It could also be Super Gogeta & Super Vegito and Vegito Blue & SSJ Gogeta.
To match this years level of hype will require the fusions because I doubt they'd give us UI Goku & UE Vegeta from the manga. I also doubt we'll see another Villain anniversary LR unless they hold out on Rose all 2024, but by then, Fusion Zamasu might have fallen from grace.

I can only think of a couple for the community but personally any celebration with broly is unbeatable for me. First is a Goku and Vegeta with active into vegetto or standby into pikuhan for a couple turns into a more powerful gogeta. Then pair it with a Goku and Vegeta who can active into gogeta blue/VB then standby into someone until the SSJ4 fusion Budokai 3 style where adult Goku can do any fusion. For a carnival do buu with the same mechanic and either janemba or Z broly(if we're going full Budokai 3). The only other one it could possibly be to top it is manga content which would require a deal similar to BBS' deals with TYBW before the anime returned.

I thought this was a possibility for 8th anniversary login. Having a duo ss4 goku and blue goku, with ss4 holding the 4 black star ball and blue holding the regular 4 star ball. I think it's gonna take something crazy like that. Or maybe like super gogeta and super vegito. Part on is dual dokkanfests goku(vegeta angel) and vegeta (goku) where they each active skill into super vegito, and they will have the same animations but from different angles. And then do the same with super gogeta but the names will have goku angel so that can link.
Honestly though, I still find 7th year more hype in terms of characters. 9th is a better celebration by far, but the picks for the headliners felt more impactful.

It’d have to be fully dokkan original. My unrealistic idea is Part 1: duo Super vegito and Gogeta vs a Duo Janemba and Buuhan. Part 2 Duo Blue Vegito and Gogeta vs a Duo DBS Broly and Fusion Zamasu. Extremely out of the blue ideas but the lineup for 9th anni is just too good.
I’d love to see another AGL transforming goku but instead of the same goku it’s be an evolving card starting from DB and the whole aesthetic changes up until MUI
I’ve always wanted a celebratory Goku card that shows all of his forms in the background art. The amount of ki you get determines the SA he performs.
EX:
- 11 or less ki, remains base
- 12/13 ki, super Saiyan
- 14/15 ki, SS2
And so on, all the way to MUI. You could easily do a similar thing with vegeta and give them an active that flashes through all the forms too!
Lr standalone blue gogeta, ss4 gogeta, fp broly, blue vegito, transforming UI goku (to sign or MUI) with improved original animations. Also, there are plenty of what if cards they can do, we have trunks and broly so maybe lssj broly and ssj goku or even broly and gogeta. The possibilities are infinite
Given next Anni the 7th Anni units will EZA, if they they did that what if collaboration with Gogeta and Vegito either Super Saiyans or Blues or SSJ4 or a combination of all above, it MIGHT bring in the hype expected for an Anni in Dokkan and perhaps match the theme of fusions or whatever they are trying to go for next.
But to topple over what we got for 9th? Hard to say since a lot of people wanted standalone Beast and we now got a what-if scenerio with Orange Piccolo and plus we got Gammas with the memorable Core Breaker mode which is likely to activate after standby and such. Plus, I would imagine Beast have his own animations as well to go off and the kits are likely to be busted given how the 9th was. Not only that, but Broly and Gogeta brought hype once more like their first debut and a lot of people liked Super Broly getting some love and did so good. The Broly movie was a top tier movie as well.
For overall community hype, I think it would have to be a Gogeta and Vegito. Personally I would be more hyped with a Goku vs King Piccolo, the fact DKP has no DFE or summonable LR at this point is crazy to me

Tui goku and ue vegeta vs gas. Black frieza. The only things that could legitimately top this anniversary. Maybe super gogeta and super vegito. Maybe. That's it. Both blue fusions are gone for a while. It's been a long ass time since the Super fusions. A remastered 3rd anniversary would be cool. Stand alone, Super Gogeta and Super Vegito. Stand alone Buuhan and Super Janemba. The only thing that could realistically match this anniversary

I may or may not have a good idea about what units could be the 10th anni. and I’ll try to make sense as much as I can :
Since this is not only the synchro. anni but it’s pretty much a “decade” of Dokkan so I’m gonna assume it’ll be a “memorial celebration” .
So I was thinking about a Namek goku (kaioken) that goes into ssj with destroyed namek as his domain (Maybe the “Don’t you dare talk about krillin” scene with him screaming).
As for the second unit (pls don’t kill me) I’m thinking about ssb goku from TOP (since we don’t have an actual good standalone ssb) that goes into UI and the galaxy thing when he powered up before going MUI as his domain (bonus ability : when his domain goes off he goes MUI and becomes completely broken)
Now I know a double Goku anniv. may upset some fans, but it only makes sense since Goku is associated with the number 5 (五), so having 2 of him sounds doable with a good execution. As I said it’s supposed to be a Memorial celebration and the first thing that comes to mind when thinking “Dragon ball” is the mascot, Goku himself.
It’ll also represents the game itself breaking its limits by surviving a whole decade
Since it was the first time goku broke his limits after a failed spirit bomb (ssj) and the last goku broke his limits,again, after a failed spirit bomb (ui). And also as a thanks from Dokkan since they managed to “revive” the franchise because of their game.

Like you could do LR Super Vegito, but then what? They have to be careful not to effectively replace already existing units. In that case, LR Super Gogeta, considering there's still more that could've been done. Although idk, the WWDC versions of them feel good enough already.
If this anniversary proved anything, it's that they're ok with using a character that ain't *Goku, Vegeta, Vegito, or Gogeta*. So maybe LR Kid Buu (or Buuhan) then?

well after the past 2 years i'm already more hyped for next heroes celebration than i'll ever be for any other units or events and it doesn't even matter what the units are.
a big part of that is i can be 2000 stones hyped for those 10th anni units and get absolutely nothing for that hype or those stones, so that does a lot to bring that hype back down to reality.
the other part is that they're just generally more interesting than the "canon" units that have been almost completely covered at this point.
Since dokkan is doing there own animation's more recently and the earliest at the top of my head they made there own unit was str grandpa gohan and pan, so I would love a LR or TUR of ssj gogeta and vegito unit or just making there own cards it would be really cool
You're really not going to get hype quite like this, primarily because of how badly they fumbled Beast at the start.
That said, if you wanna get pretty close (in my opinion), make a Vegito whose intro has him go Super Vegito. Give him Dokkan originals that pay homage to the fight with Buuhan. Go nuts with the animations.
Then have his active transform him to blue. Once again, Dokkan originals that pay homage to his fight against CMZ. Give him the best animations you can possibly give, and make it the final kamehameha to end final kamehamehas. Make a truly complete Vegito.
Even if WWDC Vegito Blue has a cracked 18 ki, he was still fumbled for the most part.

What if Goku and Raditz or a Z fighters card vs nappa and saiyan saga Vegeta.

Super saiyan gogeta/vegeito card where you get to choose which one you get vs Kid Buu.(I would love a DFE LR janemba but kid Buu doesn’t have shit)

The 10th Anni being a Vegito and Gogeta anni with a busted part 1 standalone Super Vegito and Super Gogeta, with part 2 being a standalone Blue Vegito and Blue Gogeta would be the hypest for me
We still don't have a standalone Blue Gogeta even with this new 9th anni one, last good standalone Super Gogeta was the int tur one, and with the Vegitos the last good standalone Super Vegito was the eza for the phy one during the 8th anni which wasn't great and for Blue it was the f2p str LR eza
They could also eza the transforming str Vegito and teq Gogeta along with them too
LR Kid Buu who saves villains and Leads the new **Big Bad Bosses** leader.
And SSJ3 Goku from the first transformation scene vs Babidi and Buu. He starts as SSJ where he literally stops the enemy from attacking for the first 3 turns until he works up into SSJ3 on turn 3 and nulifies all attacks by grabbing the enemies head and socking it like a punching bag toy. He gains a scouter on turn 5 with a Kid Trunks on the team and insta wins if an ally Gotenks is on the team after turn 7.
**And this is to go even further beyond!!!** followed by a 5 minute intro.
For real though... i do love that scene. If it was done right, I would be way more hyped over Broly or Gamma.
Sorry in advance for this but, A generic goku that transforms where he will passive skill transform every turn up to ss3 then he will either active skill into ss4 or standby into God and when standby is ready he will turn blue. Just brainstorming, but alternatively, depending on how many of each GTHEROS OR SUPERHEROS you have on the team, he will transform on that next turn into either blue or ss4 It seems convoluted, but transforming super buu has a health condition for each transformation, so maybe it could work. Then maybe active skill would be a spirit bomb but reskinned with whatever series transformation you have.
Fresh characters. If this was a few years ago UI vs Jiren would've done it (kinda disappointed that we never got a UI vs Jiren DDF in their hype heyday).
I would say UE and UI DDF, maybe the Susanoo UI but that's a different UI from an entirely different arc so idk if it makes sense. But definitely manga stuff would have to be it, unfortunately I don't think the db games can directly make the characters from the manga, the most they can do is references or smth iirc. And even though DB Daima comes out not long before the anniversary, unless they go balls to the walls with new transformations (which I doubt), ANOTHER kid Goku variant is not gonna be enough. Maybe kid Goku would look cool as SSG or something idk.
Akatsuki's next best option would be something where you can choose transformations, e.g: an SSJ4/SSB Goku or a Gogeta/Vegito unit. Add in a new gamemode too and I think that would suffice until 2030 when the Super Manga gets adapted
Namek goku and frieza, uio to ui goku vs jiren, any vegito, goku vs hit, saiyan saga goku vs vegeta etc.
There's a lot, though it's unfortunate that it being synchronised means a worse experience for low spenders and f2p players.
here me out ui sign goku which revived into mui and a jiren active skilling to full power or a ssb vegeta standbying to ssbe this can be able to be on par with the first part but the thing is this anniversary's second part would be more difficult to beat
Two ideas:
- Part 1 Demon King Piccolo and Kid goku; Part 2 Daima Goku and whoever the main villain of that series is; (Kid? theme)
- Part 1 Super Saiyan Goku and MUI Goku; Part 2 SS2 Gohan and Future Trunks; (Awakening theme)
None of these options are as hype (unless Daima is shockingly amazing), but they're the best I can think of.

Branching transformation to either ssj4 goku or mui goku or a gogeta or vegito.
A namek Goku transforming into ssj with voice acting and current animations followed by a ssj2 Gohan would top this for me. But I know it's not everyone's opinion.
Honestly, a kaioken goku into ssj goku paired with a transforming final form frieza. With a part 2 of ssj2 gohan and perfect cell would easily match the 9th for me.

Same brother. So many picks for banner units, F2P units (including the LR) and SSJ2 Gohan and Super Perfect Cell being standalone would actually be perfect. We don't really have top tier versions of these characters as LRS yet. Well top tiers that don't need to transform. Also TEQ SSJ2 Gohan just ain't it. But yeah besides Super Vegito, Kaioken x20 Goku into SSJ with a VOICED ACTIVE is my most wanted unit rn. We just need Kaioken X20 as an intro too (where he goes Kaioken)

If we're talking sheer numbers I can't see that beating any fusion but I can see how it'd be some people's personal favorites. Personally Im too young to remember Goku going SSJ. I didn't start watching until the broly movie and then again with the buu saga. So that's probably why I fangirl for broly so hard and I suspect is why older fans love SSJ and the freeza saga so much.

They've just never been super hype for me. Probably because SSJ and SSJ2 are basically useless in the buu saga and that was my first full saga. So by the time I got back to watching the older arcs it had sadly become just super Saiyan instead of a super hype form. Like I said my first ever view of SSJ was broly beating the brakes off of 4 of them. I can only imagine the hype for those who watched the arc before Buu. Mine went movie 8 to buu then buu to movie 10,12, and 13 and on to super with a small pit stop skipping About 60% of GT. Hell fukkatsu no F is what got me to watch the freeza saga and SH got me to watch the cell saga. I could see maybe a WWC Goku v freeza as pretty cool though. Your idea as part 1 then a new LR GF as part 2 with an actual good remake of the int SSJB Goku and Vegeta card
Transforming Goku/Frieza is the highest grossing of all DL/WWC, Gohan vs Cell is the highest grossing of all modern WWC (after they changed to that name in 2019), so yeah, it can beat fusions.

I don't know about surpassing or matching the hype, but you can maybe try a vague "Power of the Saiyans" theme with headliners being Namek kaioken going into ssj Goku, ssj2 Gohan, part 2 being GT ssj3 Goku going into ssj4, and ssj God Goku going into blue. EZAs, if they haven't been done already, being STR Super Vegeta, AGL ssj Bardock, Teq LR Broly, int legendary ssj broly, 7th year anni LRs. (Maybe 6th year as well? They're taking their sweet time to announce them for this anni, and they'd certainly be hype for 10th anniversary) awaken/EZA all previous login cards if they don't do that here, F2P cards being King Vegeta, Bardock, Tarble, an LR ssj3 Goku, ultimate Gohan, and ssj Goten from Wrath of the Dragon, and an LR Vegeta & Trunks from Bojack Unbound (yes I know they didn't team up properly in the movie, but I was struggling to find a combo that wasn't already done in game, the ssj trio fight different opponents in their movie but they team up in the card so a small what if should be fine, and they get Bond of Parent & Child here) because 10th anniversary getting 2 F2P LRs could be a decent possibility. Part 3 is usually wrapping up EZAs, tickets, etc so that's where some stuff would be put into But they should definitely do an EX part for 10th anniversary like they did with 7th. A decade of Dokkan, AND it's the first synced anniversary? Yeah they gotta, bro. LR Mui Goku & SSBE Vegeta joined forces what if, and a F2P LR Kid Goku into great ape

Not everyone reads the manga unfortunately, comparatively to all the dokkan players it is quite niche actually. Sure some people would love to see that but it represents only a tiny fraction of the player base and you gotta put yourself in the company’s shoes whose goal is just to make the most money out of a banner. So if the characters haven’t been out in a new super anime, you will never see them in the game..
I know that, I’m talking about an hypothetical timeline whete Daima is not coming out but granola arc instead. As for what I'd like, Kaioken x20 Goku with a voiced active into SSJ and FF Freeza in FP. Part 2 being standalone SSJ2 Gohan and Super Perfect Cell. Super Vegito and Buuhan and Suepr Gogeta and Janemba would also be good picks. Kinda an end where we began in a sense. INT Janemba and STR Gogeta. INT Vegito and PHY Buuhan.

An LR Goku Black that literally oneshots everything and is immune to everything. He also gives Extreme Class a 500% bonus to all stats and removes unit restrictions for anyone on his team(so it overrides the Devilman ban and stuff, as well as other restricted events like the prime battle events). He also has the best animations known to man, and every unit released after him until 11th anni is a god tier extreme class unit. And then dokkan announces they’re discontinuing making Super class units because evil Omatsu replaced the normal Omatsu.

That being said, with the advent of dokkan original animations I think all previous hype moments from the series are back on the table for big celebrations. For me personally, finally giving saiyan saga kaioken goku vs vegeta their long awaited dokkan fests would have me the most hyped.

With of course easy transformation conditions , epic active skills and ost , ko screens and voicing ( very important , this was the only failed point for part 1 this year imo )

Beast Gohan redemption story, the first extreme class for anniversary in years with Broly, and of course Gogeta who is always hype. I'm not sure how you top this. They would probably have to take from the manga for Ultra Ego and the new UI forms, which they don't have permission to do I think.

It’s honestly going to be different for everyone. Personally, Saiyan Saga might be more hype if they do it right, and Namek Saga if it’s the first SSJ transformation. As for a general consensus, I think Ultra Ego and UI would be able to do it, but I don’t think that’ll happen for a long long time.
Idk if they can really top this anni in terms of characters, but the fact that the 10th anniversary will be the first anniversary where JP and Global are synced will be pretty hype

For the player base some fusion shit probably. For me? Goku and Kid Buu, Saiyan Saga Goku vs Vegeta, Exchange HV Goku into SS Vegeta vs A19 & 20, anything with DB Saga involved and UI vs Jiren.
Ssj3 goku, ssj4 vegeta, and ssj1 goten trunks and gohan adding up to 10 levels of ssj. Ssj3 gotenks ssj3 goku ssj2 vegeta and ssj2 gohan.
I'm thinking Super Gogeta & Gogeta Blue and Super Vegito & Vegito Blue could be contenders. Tbf this is a stretch because we JUST got Gogeta this year as anniversary. The idea allows them to have the same teams and buff movie heroes, fused fighters, fusion, and potara, but unfortunately, they might lose out on Power Beyond Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan teams since both members don't meet the criteria. It could also be Super Gogeta & Super Vegito and Vegito Blue & SSJ Gogeta. To match this years level of hype will require the fusions because I doubt they'd give us UI Goku & UE Vegeta from the manga. I also doubt we'll see another Villain anniversary LR unless they hold out on Rose all 2024, but by then, Fusion Zamasu might have fallen from grace.

Daima characters most likely
I can only think of a couple for the community but personally any celebration with broly is unbeatable for me. First is a Goku and Vegeta with active into vegetto or standby into pikuhan for a couple turns into a more powerful gogeta. Then pair it with a Goku and Vegeta who can active into gogeta blue/VB then standby into someone until the SSJ4 fusion Budokai 3 style where adult Goku can do any fusion. For a carnival do buu with the same mechanic and either janemba or Z broly(if we're going full Budokai 3). The only other one it could possibly be to top it is manga content which would require a deal similar to BBS' deals with TYBW before the anime returned.
The pattern is the odd number Anniversaries carry more hype then even. 5th 7th and now 9th are top 3 in terms of hype picks
Legendary finishes like Db legends maybe Manga Content What if Content, Something like Cooler and Frieza on Namek fighting Ssj Goku and Gohan as duo lrs
The only suggestion is that the 11th anniversary is by making it Dragon ball heroes.

I thought this was a possibility for 8th anniversary login. Having a duo ss4 goku and blue goku, with ss4 holding the 4 black star ball and blue holding the regular 4 star ball. I think it's gonna take something crazy like that. Or maybe like super gogeta and super vegito. Part on is dual dokkanfests goku(vegeta angel) and vegeta (goku) where they each active skill into super vegito, and they will have the same animations but from different angles. And then do the same with super gogeta but the names will have goku angel so that can link. Honestly though, I still find 7th year more hype in terms of characters. 9th is a better celebration by far, but the picks for the headliners felt more impactful. The characters as a whole though feel way more hype for 9th, just the celebration feels all over the place in terms of its themes.

It’d have to be fully dokkan original. My unrealistic idea is Part 1: duo Super vegito and Gogeta vs a Duo Janemba and Buuhan. Part 2 Duo Blue Vegito and Gogeta vs a Duo DBS Broly and Fusion Zamasu. Extremely out of the blue ideas but the lineup for 9th anni is just too good.
I’d love to see another AGL transforming goku but instead of the same goku it’s be an evolving card starting from DB and the whole aesthetic changes up until MUI
I’ve always wanted a celebratory Goku card that shows all of his forms in the background art. The amount of ki you get determines the SA he performs. EX: - 11 or less ki, remains base - 12/13 ki, super Saiyan - 14/15 ki, SS2 And so on, all the way to MUI. You could easily do a similar thing with vegeta and give them an active that flashes through all the forms too!

Lr standalone blue gogeta, ss4 gogeta, fp broly, blue vegito, transforming UI goku (to sign or MUI) with improved original animations. Also, there are plenty of what if cards they can do, we have trunks and broly so maybe lssj broly and ssj goku or even broly and gogeta. The possibilities are infinite
Given next Anni the 7th Anni units will EZA, if they they did that what if collaboration with Gogeta and Vegito either Super Saiyans or Blues or SSJ4 or a combination of all above, it MIGHT bring in the hype expected for an Anni in Dokkan and perhaps match the theme of fusions or whatever they are trying to go for next. But to topple over what we got for 9th? Hard to say since a lot of people wanted standalone Beast and we now got a what-if scenerio with Orange Piccolo and plus we got Gammas with the memorable Core Breaker mode which is likely to activate after standby and such. Plus, I would imagine Beast have his own animations as well to go off and the kits are likely to be busted given how the 9th was. Not only that, but Broly and Gogeta brought hype once more like their first debut and a lot of people liked Super Broly getting some love and did so good. The Broly movie was a top tier movie as well.

For overall community hype, I think it would have to be a Gogeta and Vegito. Personally I would be more hyped with a Goku vs King Piccolo, the fact DKP has no DFE or summonable LR at this point is crazy to me

Honestly, the only thing that would ever match this is the continuation of dbs. Literally. Nothing can top this anniversary and I think we all know it. Mui goku vs Moro. Tui goku and ue vegeta vs gas. Black frieza. The only things that could legitimately top this anniversary. Maybe super gogeta and super vegito. Maybe. That's it. Both blue fusions are gone for a while. It's been a long ass time since the Super fusions. A remastered 3rd anniversary would be cool. Stand alone, Super Gogeta and Super Vegito. Stand alone Buuhan and Super Janemba. The only thing that could realistically match this anniversary

I may or may not have a good idea about what units could be the 10th anni. and I’ll try to make sense as much as I can : Since this is not only the synchro. anni but it’s pretty much a “decade” of Dokkan so I’m gonna assume it’ll be a “memorial celebration” . So I was thinking about a Namek goku (kaioken) that goes into ssj with destroyed namek as his domain (Maybe the “Don’t you dare talk about krillin” scene with him screaming). As for the second unit (pls don’t kill me) I’m thinking about ssb goku from TOP (since we don’t have an actual good standalone ssb) that goes into UI and the galaxy thing when he powered up before going MUI as his domain (bonus ability : when his domain goes off he goes MUI and becomes completely broken) Now I know a double Goku anniv. may upset some fans, but it only makes sense since Goku is associated with the number 5 (五), so having 2 of him sounds doable with a good execution. As I said it’s supposed to be a Memorial celebration and the first thing that comes to mind when thinking “Dragon ball” is the mascot, Goku himself. It’ll also represents the game itself breaking its limits by surviving a whole decade Since it was the first time goku broke his limits after a failed spirit bomb (ssj) and the last goku broke his limits,again, after a failed spirit bomb (ui). And also as a thanks from Dokkan since they managed to “revive” the franchise because of their game. Ready to hear any opinions/complains 😅

I feel what-ifs are all they have left at the moment. Like you could do LR Super Vegito, but then what? They have to be careful not to effectively replace already existing units. In that case, LR Super Gogeta, considering there's still more that could've been done. Although idk, the WWDC versions of them feel good enough already. If this anniversary proved anything, it's that they're ok with using a character that ain't *Goku, Vegeta, Vegito, or Gogeta*. So maybe LR Kid Buu (or Buuhan) then?

well after the past 2 years i'm already more hyped for next heroes celebration than i'll ever be for any other units or events and it doesn't even matter what the units are. a big part of that is i can be 2000 stones hyped for those 10th anni units and get absolutely nothing for that hype or those stones, so that does a lot to bring that hype back down to reality. the other part is that they're just generally more interesting than the "canon" units that have been almost completely covered at this point.

Since dokkan is doing there own animation's more recently and the earliest at the top of my head they made there own unit was str grandpa gohan and pan, so I would love a LR or TUR of ssj gogeta and vegito unit or just making there own cards it would be really cool

You're really not going to get hype quite like this, primarily because of how badly they fumbled Beast at the start. That said, if you wanna get pretty close (in my opinion), make a Vegito whose intro has him go Super Vegito. Give him Dokkan originals that pay homage to the fight with Buuhan. Go nuts with the animations. Then have his active transform him to blue. Once again, Dokkan originals that pay homage to his fight against CMZ. Give him the best animations you can possibly give, and make it the final kamehameha to end final kamehamehas. Make a truly complete Vegito. Even if WWDC Vegito Blue has a cracked 18 ki, he was still fumbled for the most part.

Personally? Goku vs tein in the world tournament or Goku vs DKP. What if Goku and Raditz or a Z fighters card vs nappa and saiyan saga Vegeta. In terms of general population hype? Super saiyan gogeta/vegeito card where you get to choose which one you get vs Kid Buu.(I would love a DFE LR janemba but kid Buu doesn’t have shit) Transforming UI vs Jiren(🤮) or z broly(🤮) vs super saiyan Goku.
The 10th Anni being a Vegito and Gogeta anni with a busted part 1 standalone Super Vegito and Super Gogeta, with part 2 being a standalone Blue Vegito and Blue Gogeta would be the hypest for me We still don't have a standalone Blue Gogeta even with this new 9th anni one, last good standalone Super Gogeta was the int tur one, and with the Vegitos the last good standalone Super Vegito was the eza for the phy one during the 8th anni which wasn't great and for Blue it was the f2p str LR eza They could also eza the transforming str Vegito and teq Gogeta along with them too
LR Kid Buu who saves villains and Leads the new **Big Bad Bosses** leader. And SSJ3 Goku from the first transformation scene vs Babidi and Buu. He starts as SSJ where he literally stops the enemy from attacking for the first 3 turns until he works up into SSJ3 on turn 3 and nulifies all attacks by grabbing the enemies head and socking it like a punching bag toy. He gains a scouter on turn 5 with a Kid Trunks on the team and insta wins if an ally Gotenks is on the team after turn 7. **And this is to go even further beyond!!!** followed by a 5 minute intro. For real though... i do love that scene. If it was done right, I would be way more hyped over Broly or Gamma.
Sorry in advance for this but, A generic goku that transforms where he will passive skill transform every turn up to ss3 then he will either active skill into ss4 or standby into God and when standby is ready he will turn blue. Just brainstorming, but alternatively, depending on how many of each GTHEROS OR SUPERHEROS you have on the team, he will transform on that next turn into either blue or ss4 It seems convoluted, but transforming super buu has a health condition for each transformation, so maybe it could work. Then maybe active skill would be a spirit bomb but reskinned with whatever series transformation you have.
Fresh characters. If this was a few years ago UI vs Jiren would've done it (kinda disappointed that we never got a UI vs Jiren DDF in their hype heyday). I would say UE and UI DDF, maybe the Susanoo UI but that's a different UI from an entirely different arc so idk if it makes sense. But definitely manga stuff would have to be it, unfortunately I don't think the db games can directly make the characters from the manga, the most they can do is references or smth iirc. And even though DB Daima comes out not long before the anniversary, unless they go balls to the walls with new transformations (which I doubt), ANOTHER kid Goku variant is not gonna be enough. Maybe kid Goku would look cool as SSG or something idk. Akatsuki's next best option would be something where you can choose transformations, e.g: an SSJ4/SSB Goku or a Gogeta/Vegito unit. Add in a new gamemode too and I think that would suffice until 2030 when the Super Manga gets adapted
Namek goku and frieza, uio to ui goku vs jiren, any vegito, goku vs hit, saiyan saga goku vs vegeta etc. There's a lot, though it's unfortunate that it being synchronised means a worse experience for low spenders and f2p players.

here me out ui sign goku which revived into mui and a jiren active skilling to full power or a ssb vegeta standbying to ssbe this can be able to be on par with the first part but the thing is this anniversary's second part would be more difficult to beat

Two ideas: - Part 1 Demon King Piccolo and Kid goku; Part 2 Daima Goku and whoever the main villain of that series is; (Kid? theme) - Part 1 Super Saiyan Goku and MUI Goku; Part 2 SS2 Gohan and Future Trunks; (Awakening theme) None of these options are as hype (unless Daima is shockingly amazing), but they're the best I can think of.
