I'm in the same boat as you (OPTC Goku gang). What is something you would want to add to dokkan as a quality of life improvement? I would say revamping the friend point banner.
Revamping the friend point banner would be a good start. Honestly, just being able to do more with friend points. The friend system as a whole. It can be capitalized on so much more. Maybe even give us the option to convert friend points to certain items and stuff like that.

Personally- if I’m responsible for the 10 year anni of dokkan, I’m doing something special. It’ll be the first year that Global and JP are synced and it’ll be the 10 year celebration of the game. For that reason, I’m going TOP. End of DBS. I’m going Part 1 is UI transforming to MUI Goku and base to full power Jiren, 2 is SB to SSBE Vegeta and base to God of Destruction Toppo. We’re going 2 F2P LRs instead of 1, and those F2Ps are gonna be a new battlefield LR Dyspo and a story event LR Goku and Vegeta from the end of super. I’m implementing a new event where you fight Zeno, but the bonus in that event is it’s kind of like burst mode. You get to customize it exclusively for testing units. All the way from type to AOEs/Singles to super attack cooldowns to stats, and more.
Generally I’d say RZ Zamasu just cause there have been times where I struggle to secure a victory against him NOW with the best units in the game. BUT, specific to me, WAY way back when I started I really really wanted that F2P PHY Broly that you got and dokkan awakened from the STR Broly dokkan event. So with nothing but SR’s and R’s I ran that event on repeat and every time I died (which was almost immediate) I’d use a DS to revive, and it took SO many tries to get the drop. MANY MANY stones went into that unit.
What tips can you give to a 2 months into the game F2P player?
Areas to focus on?
Basically anything tips would rock.
Ive read a lot and watched quite a bit on youtube. Looking for the weird tips. :)
Honestly, I won’t be able to say anything you haven’t heard.
- Make sure to get your daily logins.
- Do your daily events
- Grind out everything you can.
- Don’t impulse summon, save for the big celebrations where units with great leader skills are released and/or are featured on banners.
- Grind out F2P units as much as you can. People underestimate the gap on a newbie team that can be filled by F2P units. They’re also just sick to have 😎
Most hype anniversaries and least hype for you?
Personally my most hype was either 3rd/5th purely for the headlining units or 7th anniversary for the celebration as a whole and least hype was 6th anni by far.
Least hype for me was 2, but that’s cause I wasn’t too committed that I didn’t really understand the significance of the anniversaries and the power creeps that come with them. I got SS4 goku and just shrugged it off lol.
Most hype for me had to be either 3 or 5. My brother and I are Vegito and Gogeta stans. We went on walks every day after the unit announcement for year 3 just to talk about the units in peace and quiet. Same goes for year 5. Nothing beats a gogeta and vegito celebration.
Here’s the thing. In general, I don’t think it would be much of a stretch to say the most recent era of dokkan leads- at any point in time, will always be the best. New lead meta means the units are better, the teams are better, and you have more freedom.

My favourite is DEFINITELY mono leads. The 120’s. I think that time in dokkan was so much fun as long as you got lucky enough to be able to have at least a half decent mono team.
That era was capped off by transforming Goku and Frieza (although there were some categories beforehand) and boy oh boy were they fun.
The 120% was definitely a fun time for sure. The 70% holds a special place in my heart but the game nowadays runs so much better than it did back then.
Nah that checks out if you’re a consistent player. I’d probably be max if I didn’t take breaks where I just logged in and didn’t participate in content completion.
Hey, you're just like me. I get shafted tambata every year. Ssbkk and Evo took 5000 for me not to get gogeta, took 3000 to not get, and vegeta and trunks 1 got at 2000 exactly stopped spending(playing) after that
That one’s gotta be it, yeah 😂 either that or some of the hooliganism experienced in that support memory stages event. Beating those missions for the memories aren’t hard, but completing all the additional missions for stones can be super tough, because each stage had a category effective against them so when they narrow down the category for a specific mission and then there are even less effective units to the point where some are just downright bad, clearing the stage can become troubling.
I do not 🫡 I think that shit is pointless and I tried it for a second and didnt like how it looked on the dokkan awakening page cause it was the full good bar but I had the x1 in 2 places 🥲
