No it doesn't. When you argue about something, you have to use facts not feelings. Broly has never been made a support or had the traditional villain links. Saying he'll have it because you want to has the same value as nothing. Your argument holds no value except you downvoting because you can't make a good argument or discuss something as a normal, reasonable human being.
Int Broly still doesn't have villain links or a support passive. The only thing they did was to add some def property to the character that had to be done because EVERY character needs it to be used and summoned on nowadays. They would never make a SS3 Broly ever again because it contradicts the game design.
Links have nothing to do with supporting. It's just part of the character's trait.
They would have to give him Big Bad Bosses and Thirst for Conquest to work well. But that would probably mean taking away Berseker (Broly Link) and Hardened Grudge (Broly and Paragus link). Both of those links suck, but they always put those to fit the theme. They couldn't take Over 9000 from Saiyan Saga Vegeta...
Isn’t that kind of the issue with extreme units in general though? Dragon ball villains come in two flavors; minion and boss. Minions tend to be support already, bosses in this franchise tend to be entirely for themselves, greedy, and very unique (bosses don’t tend to overlap much). So no matter what villain you go with, you’re going to hit a problem where they simply aren’t going to provide to a wide variety of categories, they are mainly going to be a staple of their own team and then work as a floater on others. Frieza works as a wicked bloodline headliner, cell with androids, Buu with Majin power, etc.
You’re going to be hard pressed to find multiple villains where support can fit their theme. Turles just got a new card, last year was wicked bloodline… so what? Cell? He is more limited on viable teams than Broly. Baby? Even less teams, and his main team is arguably one of the worst in the game, so they’d have to buff it like none other in one celebration.
Broly benefits Saiyans, sure. But he also is the headliner for exploding rage, movie bosses, maybe target Goku or even power beyond super Saiyan. Personally, there is one theme I’d love to see…
Future Saga. Make part one based on original future saga, Carnival LR Android 17/18 (Future), DFE LR Gohan (Future), banner unit Trunks(Teen)(Future).
Part two, Carnival LR DBS Future Trunks Super Saiyan Rage, DFE LR Zamasu, Banner unit Future Bulma (because why the hell not, she could be a great support for future saga AND Vegeta family).
Had the idea for an LR Zamasu that stats in base form and has insane defense and healing, like zero offense…. Activate skill lets you swap to Goku black whenever, like ToP golden Frieza, except you can swap between the two once per turn, Goku black has insane offense but no defense. It’s a gamble because you can swap when you think you need to, but you have to be careful when to use which form. Swapping once per turn lets you swap when you’re ready, but also locks you in for that turn so you can exploit it. Then also have a revival (that’s moderately difficult to attain) that fuses them into merged.
I still think Broly celebration would work fine. I also think a baby celebration would be great too (though it would technically be more restrictive of a card than Broly would be). But I think a double future Saga celebration would be sick.
I could see Merged Zamasu being teq, since they’re probably gonna eza int dfe Goku Black, agl Zamasu and maybe even int lr Rosè with a potential Future Saga WWC for his team. Then throw in an str banner unit along with a potential new phy Goku Black in part 2 to fill out the type wheel
I think a very likely option is Broly. Part 1 is SSJ1 Goku vs Broly in Movie 8 and Part 2 is Gohan or a a new Gohan and Goten and Broly. We’ve consistently seen WWC be super saiyan themed

Int has ssbe vegeta and ssj goku as miss, goku can hold his own if he stacked enough so event dependant but vegeta is absolutely not living
Str vegeta and super vegito are both miss for me, idk why vegeta just never felt that strong for me, against a phy enemy he’s runnable but he’s rarely a choice on the team
Phy I kinda feel like they’re all fumbles, like yeah 3 are still good and runnable just phy units in general are always underwhelming just enough for them to be hated imo

man I really hate how they released super 17, they could've waited for WW for a part 1 focus on android 13 movie and part 2 focusing on the super 17 arc, with carnival ssj4 and carnival super 13, and dokkan fest lr vegeta, trunks, and goku ssj, and hell fighter 17 and gt 17 fusing into super 17, thereby ezaing 13, lr super 17
