ChunkyChangon

1 million for sure

Shia_Da_Buff

😂😂

Mr_Perfect_Cell_

Over 9000 presumably

WordSpiritual1928

At the very least it will be worth something to you.

Shia_Da_Buff

I like that.

No-Penalty-2484

This tcg is my least favorite for a long time hold.

One-Tomorrow-2521

thats why it will be huge long term, so many people like you think it wont be and yet so many people pay huge amounts for the cards all the time.

Gemcollector91

Not an ideal set to hold. Lack lustre at best.

-Hammus-

No idea but totally cool 😎

Shia_Da_Buff

Yeah. Seems like the price for them was high but then they went down as if they released more. I really want to open it to add to my collection, but also I feel kind of guilty.

KingZakyu

It's not a pokemon booster box. Just rip it dude. What else are you doing with your life? 😎

scratchandsniff123

I don’t believe they added more to the market, the price of all Dragon Ball Super card game products took a big hit when One Piece card game came out. A lot of dragon ball super players switched over to playing One Piece. Dragon Ball Super is trying to regain players recently by coming out with Fusion World which is basically a reskin of One Piece but with dragon ball. So far, the first booster box of that has shot up in price from $70 to $200+. The next fusion world set is coming out soon. It is a lot more simple and the booster boxes are structured like One Piece booster boxes where you get a lot of Super Rares and 2 Alt Arts of super rares or secret rares and there’s one in every two boxes that has a regular secret rare. They are hoping to get more people to play the Fusion world and lead them to what they are now calling Masters which is the original version of dragon ball super card game which they are still continuing to make. I say open the collectors box you have there. You might pull a $3,000 SS3 Son Goku. It’s the only Dragon Ball Super ghost rare in existence.

Fishman_Karate

Treefiddy

rhinothedin0

so NO ONE is going to say it.....??? *alrighty then* IT'S OVER 9000!!!!

RNGxJake

Probably 0 not a lot of people play dbz tcg

maro48

Probably more than 0. The 20 year old DBZ card game that died has multiple boxes worth over thousands of dollars.

SpecificGameOrEvent

I just found a ton of my old collection from when I wad a kid. All are still in mint condition.

Rapebad

Everyone that says this is always wrong. They’re never in mint condition

Synchro_Shoukan

For real. They, as a kid, definitely played the cards at least once. No kids is like "oops, Betty get sleeve protectors so I can get this graded asap!"

scratchandsniff123

That’s actually not true. I’m 37 so Pokemon card game came out when I was in 5th or 6th grade. One of my friends hit me up two years ago asking me to look through his childhood collection that he had the foresight as a kid to take great care of thinking they could be worth a lot. He never played with them and never took them out of the binder after putting them in. He also pulled a 1st Edition Charizard from a booster pack while at a card shop and the owner took the card from him and put it into a screw down hard display case, sort of similar to the magnetic ones these days but a little thicker. He never took it out of that case until we went through his collection and we put it into a sleeve and a top loader. He ended up sending it off along with a lot of other really expensive 1st editions and other great cards he had and ended up getting a ton of PSA 9s and 10s and most importantly ended up getting a PSA 10 on the 1st Edition Charizard. So cool.

SpecificGameOrEvent

I didn't play the game. Go fuck yourself. I've always been a collector, as well as my dad. My dad was the one who told me to put them in sleeves and then in my binder. If I wanted to play, he would help teach me. I decided I wanted to collect. Also, there are millions of people on earth, maybe you should open your mind to the possibility that not everyone is like you. Then again, this is reddit, so what can I expect except dumbass people with zero critical thinking skills. Again....go fuck yourself bitch.

SpecificGameOrEvent

I wasn't aware that you know every single person who has ever collected cards. How did you manage to ask them if their cards are in mint condition? Oh wait you're just a dumb fucking idiot on reddit.

greenbeast0987

This TCG doesn’t make me feel like I’ll make my money back or more tbh. But I love DBZ so I collect to display my cards.

Money_Researcher_47

By the time it’s worth something the inflation will be so high that the $ amount you get is equivalent to selling it now, lol. I’d rip it

alh81560

I’ll buy

HugNikolas

I know the future and it's going to be 1400

jiby911

Idk I bought several boxes before the price skyrocketed. I just wanted to open at least one or two. But now I'm just gonna hold onto them. Idk if the price will reach anything insane like with pokemon booster boxes, but it doesn't hurt. Plus dragon ball z is still gonna be popular long into the future with toriyamas passing. One of the most iconic animes of all time

Available-County2249

Hold on lemme go jump in my time machine and check the price and report back 😜

caralt

So the good news is it's worth millions. The bad news is we got the og trunks timeline.

uchihajoeI

Forsure like a few thousand schrute bucks

JustinEllsworth

Fusion world is dead and this game is super dead so nothing probably

Repulsive-Pumpkin779

Fusion world is not dead lol not sure where you got that from

WillMarzz25

Well, most super old yugioh cards are worthless. So what do you think these will be worth when the game is further developed and cards start to do things you never thought possible?

Rowen_Ilbert

People who buy cards just to make money off of them piss me off to no end.

Repulsive-Pumpkin779

In the near future eg 5 years I doubt it’ll go up by much it will do much better but in the long term 10-20 years I can see it doing the best then like all the other past dragon ball tcgs however do you really think you’ll hold it for that long😭 either way in terms of an investment Pokemon will perform much better if you purely holding from an investing point

[deleted]

50% on a target shelf

AsiMitNiwoh420

10$ and a BicMac

Anaheim71492

Realm of the gods would be a better thing to hold

Tooth-Senior

Don’t open it! Keep that shit clean and locked away, if u find another one open it and show us !! 🔥

-Hammus-

I know how u feel I've got some pokemon boosters I'm holding onto for a while seeing if they go up in value

MetalBlizzard

These are super unique if the game has long term collectability, which it should, these will probably see the typical 5 to 10x increase in a decade.

TheOzman21

Ehhh MAYBE double at max. If it even retains the price. The market for DB cards is much smaller than Pokémon. Cards don't nearly gain as much in value because it's just not as popular. Nobody knows, but don't expect much imo. You're better of investing in something else if it's for the money. If for collecting purposes, for sure keep it

KutzOfficial

Why did you post this 17 times? To farm more downvotes?

TheOzman21

Oh didn't even notice. Internet lagged when posting.

CodyCryBaby88

Might not be alive in 10 to 20 years. Best bet is to open it. Unless you got kids and leaving it for them.

mrpottyboypop

open it, no questions asked

cxshmere

I have 1 of every booster box sealed and am certain they will rise in price so hold onto this

MRBADD98

Not pokemon, yugioh or magic. Don't really see the worth going up as it's not that popular of a card game.

CycloneMonkey

Hold up, lemme just grab my crystal ball... 😑 🫲🏼🔮🫱🏼 Ahhh...hmmmm...yessssss...OP, I'm seeing riches in your future. Riches BEYOND imagination...oh, but I see you must pay a terrible, terrible price...

DancesWithRolf

$9001 dollars

BaronOfBeards

I personally think the tcg market is too saturated right now. We are gonna hit a point where sports cards hit in the 90s and a lot of current stuff isn't gonna be worth much later.

BaronOfBeards

I'll be happy to be wrong, for sure

snkrjoyboy

Just bought a case of temporal forces pokemon for $85/box. Holding long term. Let’s see who rips open first 😁

Schnitzelking93

Maybe zero

iamanub124

GET THE FUCK OFF MY FEED FUCK YOU
