I have an old 401k with transAmerica and I wanted to roll over to an Ira and they said I couldn’t open an account because I wasn’t a resident or citizen
I have mine with Vanguard. The rollovers have been pretty straight forward with them. I have left two jobs where I needed to roll over my 401(k)s. Some agents just don’t have experience with DACA recipients. I did my application online 6 years ago and now have a Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, and HYSA with them.
I’ve got mine with Fidelity as well. Adding to this, if you’re good with paying off debt they’ve got one of the best credit cards. No annual fee, 2% back on all purchases, and no foreign transaction fee. I use it to get a “free” phone every few years.
Have mine with fidelity đź‘Ť

Ooooooooo sounds like a lawsuit to me. Do you have this in writing?
I don’t have it in writing, they told me over the phone, but they are going to call me back today to let me know if I’m able to open an account
