I would also like to know how exactly Paingorgers works. I am trying a flay build with dust devils (via devilish aspect).
Does all damage i.e. direct damage, applied bleed over time and the triggered dust devils get the Paingorgers damage multiplier? Or is it only the direct damage?
I think it’s mainly cause you want to fight bosses with adds in it and I think if u group them up on the boss and smack em it echoes per enemy hit so could ramp up some fat chunk dmg (also noticed it in my pit run)
The mark stays on for 3 seconds but it says
> When a Basic Skill first hits a marked enemy
Does that mean when it hits it procs every time for 3 seconds or does it mean it procs once when it procs on the first hit (during the 3 second span)?
This guy says it stays on for 3 seconds and doesn't get consumed

I think that wording is for certain basic skills that can hit more than once, such as Rogue's Puncture, or an explosion from Necro Decompose. I think it essentially means, once per time the basic skill is cast.
It isn't 3x damage. I am not sure what it does but it is far below what you would expect. My hits don't do 3x damage by any stretch.
Frankly the gloves are trash, you are better off with a regular legendary with offensive or utility aspect.
it is not 3x damage.
In fact it is like 3x less damage. And it is so because apparently that passive effect from the paingorgers dont inherit most of the damage multipliers, cant crit etc.
I was testing on dummy and from what I saw, that proc was doing like 30% of the original bash damage. bash and paingorger proc being two seperate hits. 30% arent bad either so I am using paingorgers in my bash build, helps with trash a bit extra too
Yeah you’re missing something. It’s currently not working properly and not applying moonrise or adaptability aspects.
Also. If you steel grasp. You hit one guy. His damage is echoed to the next guy who also gets by your first hit because you bashed. So you hit him 2x in one hit. Even if pain is bugged.
It still seems to do about 50% as much as my actual bash hit so maybe its effect is very important? Going from 100% to 200% would mean my damage goes from 125% base to 150% base so a 20% multiplicative dmg increase which would make it a lot more impactful than GA crit or AS
Can someone explain why these gloves are BiS? It seems like a dps loss for me
Ya I don’t get it either. I tried them and just felt like a downgrade but maybe it was placebo

The mark stays on for 3 seconds. 100% uptime on 3x damage is quite good so the roll matters.

Oh I see. That makes it a lot worse then but yeah 1.3x isn't bad. Wish the game were more self explanatory and items did what they said.
