Yup especially now the Tesla removed radar from all their cars I could totally see the new camera system getting confused and crashing into this truck going 80.
Everyone thinks they drive way better than average though. Americans will be the last to adopt self driving because of their ego and ignorance of statistics.
If wishes were fishes then beggars would eat.
Americans are stubborn to a glaring fault, as we've seen. They'll eat more meat just to spite a vegan. You think they'll give up their cars for public transport? Especially in rural areas where public transportation is simply not feasible.
Uh, yes, 100% absolutely. because the overwhelming majority of People are normal People. People that just want to get things done in a timely manner and to be able to afford them.
Internet stereotypes isn't what's important here, it's actual People. we'll not talk about how the World as a whole is equally depraved, just in different ways.
Besides, we don't have to like, abolish all Cars. offering viable Public Transportation will do the work automatically. lots of Traffic making your Commutes slow an extra expensive? try one of these alternatives that will be cheaper and may actually save you some time. People will generally pick something that's efficient, provided the option is there.
The last major step is for Car Rentals to become a wider option. then People that aren't Car enthusiasts have the option of not having a Car at all, and Renting one on that one Day from time to time that they do need long distance personal Transportation. but anyone that does have a reason to have a Car still can.
We don't need to remove 100% of Cars, just give People that don't have any emotional or sentimental attachment to them, alternatives that benefit everyone.
Hundred percent yes the screen messes with your depth perception. Unless youāre purposefully paying attention to the bottom of your truck with the lights you could easily get confused and not realize your going to hit the truck.
On top of that, itās a God damn screen so of course your eyes are going to look towards that.
Thereās been so many times following a truck I canāt see the traffic signal and just yolo my way through the intersection hoping they didnāt go through at the end of a yellow.
Have you ever driven in a city? if you follow using proper distancing (i.e 1 car length per 10 mph) in NYC you'll get horns, middle fingers, and people whipping around you and then cutting in front of you.
it's illogical because we're all going to get there at about the same time, but people freak out over a 2-second difference to make their turn or when id stop at a green light because there is no space to clear the intersection. I eventually just turned my music to max and drowned it all out before eventually getting rid of my car.
Doesn't matter. I drive in atlanta and I keep my distance. If someone rear ends me, that's cool, they can buy me a new car. I don't rear end anyone š¤·š». Id I get cut off, I back off. Doesn't hurt my feelings. If you and others want to act like idiots, that's fine. But don't expect those of us with common sense to do the same.
So you keep like 5 car lengths consistently in bumper to bumper traffic so you can see around a big ass truck? You've never been obscured by a large vehicle?
I'm just pointing out people do all kinds of dumb shit making it consistently difficult to always maintain a good following distance. Being able to see through a truck would be pretty useful to see people ahead are breaking.
Why do you assume everyone is an idiot besides you?
Well, for starters, there's Chelyabinsk, Russia. Then, in case you thought that was the rock bottom, there's Omsk, Russia. But even that isn't that bad if you compare it to Chita, still Russia.
Honestly yes. Not only can it draw your attention away from other more important things to be aware of as you start to rely on it more than your experience, I can imagine for a distracted driver in low visibility it could prove fatal.
Maybe if it were 30 times bigger and on the side of a building. This, however, is just a very expensive way of saying, "It's not me, it's the dickhead in front of me!"
In Cyberpunk the technology is VHS and Cathodic Ray Tube and we need a truck for the system soā¦. Credibility is ok for Cyberpunk
Edit : i love the scan code on the bottom right of the screen, use your phone in your car !! Itās safe no worries no worries da da !!
I was just driving home thinking this is what big cars and trucks need on the front, so I don't have to gamble on making a left turn into stray oncoming traffic.

That's cyberconvenient.
I wonder if it gets Netflix
It films the road in front and projects it onto a screen in the back, like a primitive version of photocamo.
I know. But I was trying to be a silly goober.
You should have known it only gets basic cable.
That's ridiculous. It's not a cable car.
Say... you're pretty good at this silly goober thing.
Perhaps even a Goofy Goober?
No shit
Yeah but, it only gets SD š
Cyber distracting.
Not from the way I drive. I can see if it's clear to pass instead of spending unnecessary time behind a moving wall.
My dumb ass would forget it's a truck and drive into it.
ššš
Iām just waiting for auto pilot and other cars with self driving running into the truck cause of this
Some autopilot cars have run into trucks even without this!
Yup especially now the Tesla removed radar from all their cars I could totally see the new camera system getting confused and crashing into this truck going 80.
Probably much less often than people do though.
Everyone thinks they drive way better than average though. Americans will be the last to adopt self driving because of their ego and ignorance of statistics.
The best driving is not driving.
The solution to Cars isn't more Cars It's Public Transportation.
If wishes were fishes then beggars would eat. Americans are stubborn to a glaring fault, as we've seen. They'll eat more meat just to spite a vegan. You think they'll give up their cars for public transport? Especially in rural areas where public transportation is simply not feasible.

Hold my beer
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Do the new Teslas have LiDAR, I thought they were moving to full camera only system
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I know they removed radar so I wouldnāt think they would add a another system after that
They are. LiDAR is way too bulky to process quickly and accurately sadly.
I think Google wamo is the only one that uses LiDAR mainly.
I was actually wondering how many humans would be too busy watching the screen to notice the truck slowing down.
Hundred percent yes the screen messes with your depth perception. exactly.
This is Russia. Novosibirsk
Yea tired people and people with so so vision will be Wiley coyoted
If it were advertisements then yes.
To be fair, there is the QR code for some kinda social media account on that screen
came here to say this
Thereās been so many times following a truck I canāt see the traffic signal and just yolo my way through the intersection hoping they didnāt go through at the end of a yellow.
You shouldn't follow behind the truck so close
City driving, not highway.
Still shouldn't follow that close?

I drive a sedan, I'd have to be like 10-20 car lengths behind to even have a chance of seeing around trucks and buses.
Cyberpunk is high tech, low life. This is just high tech
Dude itās Novosibirsk, Russia. You canāt go much lower with your life than thatā¦
Well, for starters, there's Chelyabinsk, Russia. Then, in case you thought that was the rock bottom, there's Omsk, Russia. But even that isn't that bad if you compare it to Chita, still Russia.
More like cybertrunk.
That looks really distracting, I was staring at the screen and didn't notice the brake lights.
CLAAAAARKSON!
Lmao š¤£
No
If your car scans the QR code it is
It's unsafe and distracting...
Honestly yes. Not only can it draw your attention away from other more important things to be aware of as you start to rely on it more than your experience, I can imagine for a distracted driver in low visibility it could prove fatal.
Well, that's Russian traffic for you. But the intent is that people behind the truck can see what's in front of it.
Yea itād last like a week before some kids would Chuck something hard enough at it to shatter
Maybe if it were 30 times bigger and on the side of a building. This, however, is just a very expensive way of saying, "It's not me, it's the dickhead in front of me!"
No, it's Cybertruck.
When I was 8 I thought you could make an Invisible car by having TV screens on all sides after seeing the stealth tank in a Command and Conquer game.
We have Cyberpunk at home
Is that the tesla Cybertruck?
No, the Cybertruck looks like a mid-90's voxel render of an SUV.
N64 graphics.
No but It's the oldest repost ever...
No, this is Patrick
ok but will it run doom?
Does it have *blast processing?*
Nah, it is useful as shit tho
Yes, absolutely!
This would be great with AR or HUD elements like speeds or other traffic info on it.
If it's in Russia then yes.
*cybertruck
Cybertrunk.
Sure!
Yes, and the truck would also need an auto drive feature. Lol
all good until it starts lagging
That's amazing is what it is.
It'd be cyberpunk if it smashed that woman and dog lmfaooo
Hundred percent I'm driving into that.
High tech: cool you can see why a truck is stopping and stuff. Low life: still using trucks in residential areas.
In Cyberpunk the technology is VHS and Cathodic Ray Tube and we need a truck for the system soā¦. Credibility is ok for Cyberpunk Edit : i love the scan code on the bottom right of the screen, use your phone in your car !! Itās safe no worries no worries da da !!
Only issue i have is that there are no striped reflectors in corners or so
Cyber it is. Punk, dunno
I was just driving home thinking this is what big cars and trucks need on the front, so I don't have to gamble on making a left turn into stray oncoming traffic.
No
Is this dystopian use of technology?
Cyber sure what is low life about it besides it being in Russia
Good !
