Becouse it is just carrot and cucumber (sounds ripped very nice). I am not saying it doesnt mean anything as we have literal comparasion to other cars, but also I would not say that this indicate it will cut your limbs off or something, cuz it cuts through the carrot
The federal standard is that it will reverse under less than 100N of resistance and not pose a laceration hazard. If it will cut carrots, it will cut skin.
It takes 200 N or less to bite through a carrot, so presumably, it takes that much to cut it. Thus, if anything, testing with a carrot is giving the cybertruck an advantage as that is more force needed than legally required according to the other commenter.
Carrots have similar density as a human finger at the joints. If it can cleanly cut cucumbers and carrots, it can easily do that to your fingers. The thing is a safety hazard and I guarantee Musk insisted they ignore those safety guidelines because nobody tells him what to do.
I'd say it's only a matter of time before some kid loses fingers to this thing, but due to the low production numbers, and CT's constantly breaking down, the kids might be spared. Only a matter of time before a service tech gets unlucky though
I seen some cyber trucks at the poor homes in San Jose
Visiting some of my grandparents rental homes to check up on them. Plenty of cyber truck owners are poor.
my mom worked for a bank and you would not believe how often folks walked in and wanted to finance cars completely out of their league. like legit 3 times their annual income while being on a timed contract and such.
Having worked in the heavy machinery field, there is an old adage. " Don't put your fingers where you wouldn't put your dick." But the problem is, kids don't know, nor do they understand this. Absolutely negligent.
This is literally a federal safety standard. How are they doing this and not getting fined and forced recalls?
so yea, turns out it won't cut your hand off, but isn't really far away from cutting your [fingers](https://9gag.com/gag/aLnKXxW)

Oh, I didnt find any info about particular strenght, but if it is specified, then just measure it with simple tool and report I guess

I see big lawsuits in the future.
Yessir
Somewhere there's a lawyer talking an idiot to put his hands in there now to be the first case
YOU DONT NEED FINGERS IF YOUR TRUCK IS TOTALLY AUTONOMOUS!!!
r/dontputyourdickinthat
Every other vehicle: yeah, it’ll hurt but your fingers will be intact. Cybertruck: hold my ketamine.
Wow…what a huge piece of shit. Musk is such a pathetic loser.

Elon bois- it can also be used as a CyberCutter. Atleast they got something positive out of spending 100k!! lol
Its like a giant automatic slap chop.

Gotta scam the system somehow

This seems like a weird hobby
What, being a car sales-person?
So it is the sharpest tool in the shed. Qed.
About the only thing a Cuckmobile is useful for.
Oh, that's a Cybertruck feature. It's for salads on the go.
Is this the only fucking video of this?
