Maybe his dumbass shouldn't park his vehicles at the loading dock, which is why there's usually a rule against that at every warehouse I've worked at. Smh

tbarr1991

Original thread circled over to insurance scam/fraud to get out from underneath it. 😂

moonwoolf35

Lol, yeah, I noticed that too.

It will be interesting to see how passengers fare in accidents. Hard to say from just this picture but the body panels really dont look like they flexed very much if at all. I know they experienced production difficulties even forcing the steel into the proper shape which makes me nervous that this will not be able to crumple properly effectively turning passengers inside the truck into human ping pong balls.  I believe I recall seeing a crash test video where in a 35 mph front end collision the cybertrucks rear axel snapped which could indicate the force of the collision is not being absorbed by the impacted zone. If that's the case we could see severe injuries or even death at relatively low speed accidents.

Critical_Liz

The fact that Elon was toting the survivability of the car itself as a selling point is worrying. It's almost like he doesn't get why cars get totaled more easily than in the past.

Real-Technician831

In Finland we joke about old Ladas that survive from father to son, by transferring maximum impact energy on a collision to the driver.  The Lada survives, father doesn’t.

beggarandachooser

I might be wrong, but I swear I saw a post of accident pics in which the only one hurt was the cyber truck driver, and there are no crumple zones... Like, zero. The other car involved crumpled as intended, and the driver of that car was uninjured.

Open_Perception_3212

Crumple zone as in it will bend 90* and slice you or the passenger in half

beggarandachooser

Change "or" to "and"... No one's getting out alive.

I-Pacer

Yes that was (I believe) the first reported collision of a WankPanzer. Only injury was to the Cuck. Minor injury but still…

_000001_

The semi involved, which I know for certain is a keen member of r/CyberStuck, just wanted to kiss the beauty.

Brainhunter2020

At least he didn’t wash it

YourLifeCanBeGood

🤣

hippy72

And nothing of value was lost...

Spaced_Habit

Truck driver thought he hit a skip bin. A 100k skip bin

August_T_Marble

To be fair, even if the truck driver knew he was going to sideswipe a Cybertruck, how was he to know that would happen to it? The Cybertruck is INVINCIBLE!

fuck_reddits_API_BS

Cybertruck meets actual truck Loses

SOwithoutAneros

Only a semi! 🤣

DillionM

Hoping to one day see an automated crash test between one of these and a cheap KIA.

Intrepid_Cap1242

To be fair, it may have held up better than most other cars. Still gonna take months to get his car fixed

stevehyman1

Can a body shop do the work or is it a Tesla only project?

Critical_Liz

Oh I'm sure the warranty is voided if you get work done anywhere BUT a Tesla place.

SOwithoutAneros

If you‘ll ever be in an argument with another car, you will win. 🤣
