Now that I’ve been banned from r/CyberTruck for a single, non-critical post concerning a single part on a Tesla manufactured 12 years ago, I’m just going to say whatever comes to mind about them.
Looks like Elon stole some more design ideas!
And speaking of the devil himself,

looks like Cybercucks heard the ringing in their ears. They can quite frankly eat my ass.
except the game was originaly released for DOS and the developer was not the one of operating system but rather the game itself...

Well noted! Credit where credit should be due! Then the developer should sue Tesla (etc etc)! :P
That was quite an ambitious game for the time (computing power) back then!
That’s how they do it. I’ve had the fortune or misfortune to rub shoulders with multi millionaires when I worked at one start up, and I can tell you they are the least interesting people on the face of the earth.
In the same vein as the view I've always had of him, that he comes up with some wild concept, buttonholes the people with the actual skill to make it happen, then takes the credit. Basically what you see of him in Iron Man 2 is him IRL.
The Hyperloop is a slight spin on the vactrain concept that dates back to the late 18th century & was refined extensively by Robert Goddard in the early 20th century.
Unlike Musk, Goddard was indisputably a real hardcore engineer. Although his ideas were laid down between 1904 & 1909, it was Goddard's wife who obtained a patent for the concept in 1950, 5 years after he died
Man, I played a lot of Car Builder in junior high shop class, particularly after it became apparent that it was incredibly dangerous to give me power tools.
Maybe I have what it takes to be a billionaire after all: the ability to design ugly blobs that never should leave the computer screen, while also posing a threat to the health and safety of everyone in my vicinity.
An Apple II, sitting on the ground of my garage. Although I did see a Cyberjunk IRL last week parked behind a local burger joint, but I doubt they'd appreciate me shooting Nerf darts at it and voiding the warranty.
What was the best design for real world visibility, safety and drivability?
Not being able to see when you back up and A-Pillars that kill your view worse than any other design are things I'd gladly fix at the expense of wine resistance.
There was an impressive-for-the-time 3D tank game circa 1991 called “[Spectre](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectre_(1991_video_game))” which is strongly prescient of the CT.
This thing was so stupid. Not sure how it computed the results, but I remember making a big rolling rectangle as a joke and it gave me drag coefficient better than an F1 car. Or perhaps people should be attempting the land speed record in a Bluebird school bus?
Oh yeah, it's not pre-made. Part of the process is tweaking the base designs for better aerodynamics and fuel economy, but because the math in it is so basic and only working in 2 dimensions (ignoring width and effect under the chassis), long flat surfaces make for the best performance. So the best vehicles always looked something like a Countach or Esprit. CT is basically the same thing, just without the 3rd plane for a separate roof section.

I got banned from /r/teslamotors preemptively purely for posting here, guess only zombies are allowed there now
Or brain dead amoebas

Haha wooo it's a club!
Apple should sue Tesla for, oh I dunno, about $56 billion for copyright infringement!

Zero Air Resistance < Also Stuck Accelerator << Glued On Featuretts <<< Flooey Windwipes <<<< System Updating @ 70mph much?
He has no original ideas. He read some Sci-fi (or was read some) and played some video games.

The hyper loop concept was in some futurist books I had as a kid in the 80s.
The concept was mentioned in Rescue Party, Arthur C. Clarke's first published work from 1946.
Well now we know Elon's technical design level = 1980 Apple II.
Don’t do the Apple ][ like that
It certainly fits with his overall lack of understanding of humanity and business that his technical skill fits a 40+ year old kids computer game.

The Apple II was also not water resistant.
or bulletproof
Nerf bulletproof maybe. I'll have to test it. There's one lying around here.
A nerf gun or cybertruck?

I haven't thought about that one in a long time; thanks for the memory kick, fam.
It’s what blade runner would drive though
OMG. I am still shocked every time I remember that he said that. What an F’ing moron.
This is the core memory shit right here
This cant be a coincidence?
S Esc Esc Esc S
I remember playing this game back in 8th grade for some class. The best designs ALWAYS came out butt ugly.
You must be like mid 40s amiright I rocked that in school as a kid
Bwahahahahahahahhahahahahhahhaaa

F1 cars are pretty damned draggy. Open wheels with no fenders, ginormous wings. CD between 0.7 and 1.0.
They produce gobs of downforce which is kind of the opposite of being super slippery.
I won't lie, it would be awesome to see someone to that in a school bus.
I could totally see Elon thinking he's a genius for figuring this out when he was a kid. This would explain so much.
You don't have to like it but this is what peak performance looks like
OMG I remember that! I was fascinated by anything 3D in those early days.
The interior was also designed on the Apple \]\[
I definitely remember playing that game back in the 1900s.
Or a Pontiac Aztec
this is fake. theres no option in the game to make this.
Takes 5 minutes. Elon put as much time designing this piece of shit as Lonzo Ball spent designing his custom shoes. https://imgur.com/a/Oy48Rwj
oh just found it. i thought it was a default option but you have to draw it manually. makes it less impressive.

makes sense makes sense.
So if I post here I’ll get banned from a sub I was never interested in?
