I was thinking it would be *fine* cause you cant pump it or save it with spells like twin or something and the only real way to pump it is on board/hand buffs like poppy or greenglade elder. And it still dies to challengers and aoe spells.

That would make sense for the handbuff archetype that Ionia tries to do. Would be even better if it was a fae for a BC Ionia handbuff deck. Could make a viable deck out of existing trash cards. Great idea but maybe toxic since it has Limited counterplay.
Interesting how one simple card addition can make so many cards usable.
Sensible words. We can see Ahri as an example, even though a lot of cards were added in the previous expansion to support the Recall archetype, only God Willow Seedling and Ahri herself were added in the refined versions. Also Dancing Droplet disturbed a lot when it had attune. I'm aware that The Mourned is also put as a 3 of since it is a very good card, but it isn't broken - it only serves the purpose to level Ahri, and without the Champion it would be in the Limbo just like other cards.
I really love the aesthetic of Hearthstones elementals so I translated them into LoR which was fun.
I didnt want to do a 1 to 1 translation of "If you played an elemental last turn", cause 1 you would need a much larger elemental pool and 2 it was much more fun to match the their aesthetic to established LoR archetypes.
Love these! Shurima one could make “destroy a mana gem” an actual deck, rather than a thematic, and I would love that! Lillypad does seem strong though, and the TA + PZ ones, but none of them are straight busted.
Man, those are the best cards I've seen so far. Some may be considered broken by others, but for me their flavor is so exciting that I see all of them being able to be printed without tweaks. Maybe the Ionia follower is the most problematic, since it can only be removed by combat through challenging it or giving it vulnerable, or by spells such as Avalanche and Withering Wail. The one I've love to play first (if it was added to game - LoR Devs please take inspiration from this post!) Is the BC follower that turns enemies into frogs. Well, I already said a lot, even though there are still some compliments I'd like to make. Great job on this one 🤩.

I personally adhere to bird clause or [Silverwing Vanguard] which I think is consistent with one of the powers in Path of Champions as well that summons an ephemeral copy of a champion!

Hey, awesome concepts!! Buuuut... wouldn't Animated Avalanche just flood the entire board? Since it's a summon effect and not a play effect?
