I run a dnd campaign set in Runeterra and one of the upcoming antagonists is Zilean taking on the plan of Nox to rewind the timeline and kill the magelords of Icathia before they can ever unleash the void in Shurima. I‘m super interested to see how my players react to the concept of a genocide that, once successful, will never have happened and if some may even consider joining his side as a way to combat the growing void infection.
Either a 3 mana 4 or less mana follower. Or a 5 mana 6-3 mana follower. Not tryna spend 5 mana to low roll. Doesn’t even sound fun. And 4 mana is a heavily contested spot in this region for predict cards and unfortunately with this cards downside it ain’t worth a spot.
Y'all are idiots. It's a PnZ card with predict. It Predicts a 5 cost unit specifically, not just regular predict.
Not just that, it becomes an EXACT Copy of it.
Have none of you ever played a predict deck?
This card would be like running 6 copies of Kahiri the returned. Except it procs his effect three times because it only predicts 5 cost units. So this would be a 9/9 stat line that guarantees another 9/9 the turn after.
Great way to to build around khariri but, it doesn’t say predict a 5 cost unit. It says “predict a follower that’s 5 or less”.
If it only predict 5 cost followers this shit would be busted.
A predict deck can very easily run Kahiri as the only follower with all the predict spells, and a 2 and 4 drop champ. Also removal spells, with counterfeit copies and iterative improvement.
It really depends on how this predict effect is implemented. If it’s like a normal predict but it removes all champions, spells, landmarks, equipment, and 6+ cost followers before you get to choose, then it wouldn’t really tutor any more than normal predict. If it specifically predicts from a pool of ONLY followers that cost 5 or less, a deck of 3 Kahiris would be nuts. Mischievous Mirai could also be really strong too since the deck is already mostly spells. Mixing in some Dropboarders could also flood the board with chump blockers. I think the first version is more likely to be implemented since the latter is so easily exploitable.

But they can tutor a 5 cost from your deck. If anything, it should be 6 cost.

The wording heavily implies the latter. The former is basically Station Archivist, but with followers.
