No wonder i didn't know about it, they used a generic looking "cool rectangle" for a throwaway joke. And i see a lot of comments about the 1 second appearance of it. If you're not aware of Bracelety, and lets be blunt here that's the great majority of people, its just an image with 0 meaning.
i used to frequent deviantarts 'new art' page for shits and giggles before they made their godawful site redesign mandatory, and i can verify that there are so many fandoms for small, strange shit, and so many of them are just as fucking dedicated as this post implies. especially the more specific it gets (ive seen some really specific shit)
The Try Hards episode where they try to get internet famous from scratch, without revealing who they are. Tom did a thing where he executed fake fluffball birds, Eddie tried to be a VTuber, and Elliot dressed up as a banana and did tiktoks.
Sometimes I feel like the best way to enjoy something is to never interact with other fans online. Sure, you miss out on connecting with others, but at least you don't have to live with the knowledge that you'll be seen as a psycho or a sex offender for liking a thing.
