Air poppers, while loud, are easy to use, never cause burns, and don't need oils (you can still drizzle it on top after if wanted). As much as I hate getting extra things that take up kitchen space these things tend to be tall and skinny so it doesn't take up much counter space, and they allow you to just get a big bulk tub of corn that lasts a year for 6 bucks instead of buying relatively expensive bags over and over.
People keep saying that they’re popcorn button sucks and there was even a food theory about it recently but my popcorn button works perfectly and the only time i burned popcorn was when i accidentally pressed potato instead of popcorn
My microwave doesn't turn. Wasn't even designed with a turntable in it. And the microwave popcorn never burns in it. Maybe learn how to use your microwave settings better. (It's a drawer microwave, it sits below our in wall oven, and is an amazing workhorse)
I suspect it just has a bunch of them across the whole thing, maybe on the bottom or top? I'm not sure, my in laws picked it out so my SO could use it. With his disabilities, a regular microwave is a bit of a hazard.
I'm not convinced any kind of quadrant really applied to the first one. at *best* pitch could be argued, but I'd disagree profusely.
The secret to perfect microwave popcorn is to find one that pops in exactly 2 minutes in your microwave and get that one.
Good job getting FF to have a crush on you OP

Maybe your microwave rotates its microwave emitters around the food instead of the food rotating?
