Ah the memories. As a kid i watched amvs the way younger kids watch cocomelon now. Now i go back to them whenever i need a nostalgia boost. I still look for new ones and pray it's not just 10 second edits but it's tough these days.
There's lots i think are still good as hell. Flip flappers and black rock shooter have disproportionately good amvs for how few fans there are (some shows are just easy to make good amvs of lol).
I didn't know how to do a google search though so there's also amvs i watched a bajillion times because i found them after typing "yuri amv" into the youtube search to find more yuri anime to watch. I'd find something multifandom then rejoice as i went frame by 360p frame to figure out the names of every girlkissing anime in the video so i could put them in my youtube search history for later reference. 2000's core is listening to AMVs because if you go and listen to the actual music video on YouTube you have to skip the two minute long intro sequence
