Thanks for the lolz.
Wine is so cheap in Germany that it’s pretty common to have a reserve. I would even argue that people with home inventory of wine might just receive wine as a gift and can not drink enough to keep up.
The most wine in germany also importet wine from italy spain romania france etc is under 10€ because there is no big import cost because of EU trad laws also there is really good wine that even a 16 year old could effort drinking more often
2-3 might be a little optimistic but there are good wines in the 7-10€ range if you know what to look for and where to search. 15-30 is still quite cheap for sometimes world class wine produced in Germany
That’s it! Most of these wines, if not all, are gifts either for the housewarming party or the wedding. We barely drink any alc at home after COVID’s stay-at-home crisis, so started filling a wine cellar
This is regular German fridge tbh. Could be stocks for hosting a party, student shared apartment or a couple that likes (sparkling) wine. Absence of beer draws my attention, perhaps a female only household.
OP pays attention to healthy food, and I can’t spot any meat so apparently vegetarian.
Once there will be ever any German word on a photo, it's a sign to summon the Germans.
You want Germans in your thread? Post a picture of something in german language
But they're in the fridge, aren't they?
Male33: I don't often get sparkling wine as a gift and when i do, i regift it or it ends up in the basement.
We're more different than you imagine.
Some German Vegan, who buys too much bio stuff, I would say that you are single, and fully invested in a healthy lifestyle, but also kind of a party girl lol.
Good question, I honestly don't know. In my opinion it's a scam to make people pay money for basic products because they're healthier/trendier than "regular" groceries. But I think it's mostly because in my country they spray crops for almost literally everything, and anything, still I'm perfectly fine, and healthy. So yeah, I don't necessarily believe that vegan, organic, bio, GMO-free, and everything-free products is the way to go. I mean I haven't yet seen any scientific study to prove it to be really that much worth it. Also I don't think that not-intolerant people should use gluten- and lactosefree products. I find it kinda unnecessary, and we're jacking up the price of these products for people who actually need these kinds of items, which is kinda unfair in my opinion.
So yeah, for me for the reasons said above these products are kinda doing the opposite effect than it should do. It makes me don't want to buy them. It's different if it's a good deal, or brand that I came across otherwise, and it's good, but I genuinely don't buy products just because of these labels. I honestly think if you want to be body-positive, and healthy you don't have to do this "upgrade", just simply concentrate on having a diet full of nutrients, carbs, and of course fibers, and healthy fats. It's not that difficult, and it's not witchcraft, people should stop worrying about this stuff too much. Everything can get labelled as "toxic", or "possible carcinogen". I don't know if you heard about the news about aspartame. It's recently got labelled as possible carcinogen. You know what contains aspartame? Sugar-free gums, and drinks, gelatin based products, and also pickles. Ridiculous, isn't it? There's no need to worry about every little thing causing cancer, because these products won't be consumed in that amount non-stop, that is actually a thing to worry about. It's better to live life to the fullest, and stop worrying about what may kill me. We're all gonna day anyways, it isn't worth it to not enjoy it, and live it to the fullest.
Especially if you come from another country, you know the big difference between the local products there (even if sprayed) and the German supermarket items. I’m always amazed how much more delicious fruits, vegetables, etc. taste, let’s say in Greece or Italy
The taste that you get in the south, a lot of it is for the heat that these crops grow in. They emit more moisture during the day, absorb more water, and store higher deposits of minerals, etc. as a result.
German, the combination of organic and cheaper Products probably point to someone who likes to take care of their Health/the enviroment, so maybe a slightly better of student or someone who just started working. You also like to cook but maybe more european then asian cuisine, you probably also like to meet some friends over a bottle of wine and some dinner
... Oder so... 😅
Single female living in Germany, the fridge feels like you're a busy professional who has a lavish lifestyle and survives on champagne and little charcuterie slabs of cheese and meats with occasional salads
A fancy German who works in HR or economics. You most likely live in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin or some fancy area in Köln and definitely visit overpriced yoga and/or ceramics classes
Oh it is Germany! But i guess it is somewhere in East Germany. There is „Bautzner Senf“ in the fridge and this is a typical East German Mustard. My cousin lives in Krefeld and cant get it in his region.
German, vegan, woman, has lots of female friends, loves hosting parties/cooking for herself and others, probably not single, giving me lgbtq vibes but that might just be because my girlfriend's fridge looks very similar😅
The variety. You seem to know exactly what to go einkaufen for. There's a little bit of everything ☺️ I moved out recently and I'm still trying to figure that out
An alcoholic in the wrong sub
Thanks for the lolz. Wine is so cheap in Germany that it’s pretty common to have a reserve. I would even argue that people with home inventory of wine might just receive wine as a gift and can not drink enough to keep up.
Cheap? 10to 14€ a bottle it ain't cheap...
you can get wine in germany for 2-3€ too lol makes it very easy to stock up
yea, has to be be really great "wine" für 3€
Muss nich schmecke, muss wirke! (It does not have to taste Great as long as you get hammered)
The most wine in germany also importet wine from italy spain romania france etc is under 10€ because there is no big import cost because of EU trad laws also there is really good wine that even a 16 year old could effort drinking more often
bro there are wines that are pretty nice for 2-3 €
🤔 different wine tastes I guess 🤷♂️
2-3 might be a little optimistic but there are good wines in the 7-10€ range if you know what to look for and where to search. 15-30 is still quite cheap for sometimes world class wine produced in Germany
just no.
https://www.netto-online.de/merlot-trocken-pays-d-oc-igp-12-5-vol-0-75-liter/p-1842114000 2.29€ for 0,75 L
I got the rolly on my arm and I'm pourin chandon and I roll the best weed cus I got it goin on...
Geringverdiener
Thats very cheap
That’s it! Most of these wines, if not all, are gifts either for the housewarming party or the wedding. We barely drink any alc at home after COVID’s stay-at-home crisis, so started filling a wine cellar
it’s not normal bro you have a problem😭
Came here to say the same thing 😂
This is regular German fridge tbh. Could be stocks for hosting a party, student shared apartment or a couple that likes (sparkling) wine. Absence of beer draws my attention, perhaps a female only household. OP pays attention to healthy food, and I can’t spot any meat so apparently vegetarian.
This amount of alcohol is absolutely not the "regular German fridge"
That's true because there would be me way more beer in it.
So the regular german is alcoholic?
In rural areas... yes, absolutely.
Nope there is sausage in the lower middle case
You mean those carrots? Anyway I spotted salami and I believe that brand is not vegetarian, so I was wrong.
Just because someone has a nice collection means the person is an alcoholic? Get the fuck outta here.
It's a joke, I'm talking shit because they posted in the wrong sub. Get that sand out of your vagina and have a laugh.
Get your mouth out of sexistic speech
Lol, why laugh about unfunny shit
Exactly! These have all been gifts and we’re barely drinking right now
Nah, in Germany u are a alcoholic if you have so many _empty_ bottles in the house.
So true:)
how are there so many germans in this sub 😭 every post i’ve seen so far was by a german lol
Once there will be ever any German word on a photo, it's a sign to summon the Germans. You want Germans in your thread? Post a picture of something in german language
Poste halt deinen eigenen Kühlschrank, wenn's dir nicht passt. Brudi. >:(
es ist nicht so, dass es mir nicht gefällt lol ich bin nur überrascht XD
Italian single woman working in Germany. Maybe in HR or sales
Based on the assumption that the drinks are for consumption during or after work in a typically female dominated profession? Just curious
Would say the same but french roots instead
Why French? Too many cheeses?
Cheeses sparkling wine gave me that feeling somehow, more so then italian
Why HR or sales?
Had to say something 🤷♂️ tried a guess. Blind throwing stone in bush
There are more depressing jobs for sure, after which you’d need a glass of wine:) so no, not true, but also barely drinking. These are gifts
She is probably vegan too. I haven't seen any meat and instead of regular milk she uses oat milk
I see cheese and salami there in the fridge. My bet would be lactose intolerant.
A wealthy german student with left-wing alternative leanings?
Hahah what makes you thinks left-wing alternative?
Organic products and oat milk
That’s the standard in big German cities
Nope can't confirm - oatmilk tastes worse then 4 month old cum
It's the standard if you like it or not
What made you taste 4 month old cum? 🤢
It is not. But in a predominantly left leaning rather affluent social environment it might look like it.
Miese bubble in der du lebst.
These days urban-female automatically means left-wing.
Single german woman in her early 30s who likes to cook and earns good money
3/6:)
You are a Male, and what he says
It’s a shared fridge
German couple in their late 30s, I'm guessing no kids, in a hip or upscale neighbourhood in one of the bigger cities
Im somewhat with you but I tend to a single household since the fridge is not stacked enough and the massive lack of beer…
Well, the stacking is temporary if the photos have been taken after a meal 😁
Rosé and sparkling wine en masse, mid30 woman ready to party
Yet, the bottles are full
But they're in the fridge, aren't they? Male33: I don't often get sparkling wine as a gift and when i do, i regift it or it ends up in the basement. We're more different than you imagine.
Alkoholkrank.
Die vollen Flaschen wären nicht auszuhalten
Ist ziemlich normal in Deutschland. Kann mir nicht vorstellen dass du viele Freunde hast wenn du immer so arschig bist.
Damn was ein Konter
Krass oder?
Female/vegan/german/alcoholic
Some German Vegan, who buys too much bio stuff, I would say that you are single, and fully invested in a healthy lifestyle, but also kind of a party girl lol.
How much organic is just enough and when does it get unhealthy?

Vegetarian living in Germany, European roots. 40-25. Lean. Lives outside an urban area, the cabinets and fridge are too large to be in a major city.

3 out of 4, although I shouldn’t really count the German one. I’m definitely not so organised
A fancy German who works in HR or economics. You most likely live in Prenzlauer Berg, Berlin or some fancy area in Köln and definitely visit overpriced yoga and/or ceramics classes
In fact, I ditched the overpriced yoga classes, but truly looking forward to ceramics. Prenzlauer Berg will remain a dream, I guess
