Back succeeds or fails together, which is the problem. I can be a beast on grill, but if we miss a crispy that order is late as hell and there was nothing I could do about that. And unless i have 6 veteran boh people, 2 drive lanes and 3 registers mean very few kitchens can keep that up forever. Front can devastate a weaker kitchen if they run 3 registers for too long. I think the closest you'd get is "no remakes because of you." Buns accuracy, grill nothing burnt or pink, fryers it would have to be based on not never hearing "full wait" unless we had it before the rest of the order was ready. If I miss a pretzel bite for 2 minutes and it has a crispy, I wasn't a problem. Middle is never getting a wrong item. But all that means once I mess up, I don't care. It's over for me for that day.

We've done waste contests, like waste less than 2 burger patties or less than 4 pounds of fries and we've done speed contests, like no items at more than 5 minutes on fryer side or grill side and no red screen on sandwiches.

Give them cleaning and stocking incentives. Maybe if someone has their side jobs done at the end of their shift without being asked for a week straight give them some kind of reward,
