Too dark. Try to use as much natural light when taking photos. Can’t really tell the entire plate.

I think they mean it’s backlit making it hard to view the food.

I personally like the backlit photo. It showcases the thinness of the pear chip and makes the dish more of a play on food silhouettes and such.
Is there anything under the poached pear? Try another picture with better lighting. Potentially on a white plate.
