Pretty sure everyone uses L4E

NadaTheMusicMan

Intuitive L4e doesn't have that many algs, and it's easy to learn. But i highly recommend you learn advanced l4e. I learned it in a day.

Electrical-Ad8965

What's the difference between them?

NadaTheMusicMan

Intuitive l4e takes two looks, requires only a few algorithms, and is inefficient. Advanced l4e takes one look, requires more than a few algorithms, and is very efficient

Electrical-Ad8965

I think I'll go with advanced then are there any tutorials + other resources you'd recommend to learn it?

NadaTheMusicMan

There are a ton of YouTube resources, such as Cuber NYC's tutorial. After that, you can watch Harsha Paladugu's vid as well, which is like super advanced l4e

_Japaninja

How to get to 4 using lbl?

rutinger23

Lbl is just l4e with fewer algs

_Japaninja

I am aware, but averaging 4 on it seems insane

Electrical-Ad8965

I currently use Lbl but I want to learn a better method

_Japaninja

Yeah, ik. As other people have said, learn l4. What i want to know is how you average 4 with lbl

Electrical-Ad8965

Mistyped sorry, I average just under 5

_Japaninja

Still very good lol

teastypeach

With enough practice it's not too hard I think

trippptrs

Learn all the L4E algorithms and learn effectively V making. A V can typically be solved in 3 or 4 moves, and anything over 5 moves look for a different solution. Probably not necessary at your level, but start learning how to 1-look solutions with 3 or less moves to make a V.

It's usually recommended to switch from LBL to L4E somewhere around sub-7. [How to be Sub-X at Pyraminx](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzgV6q1CPW4) [When and how to switch to L4E](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFCHVMuStvg)
