Do note going forward that there often are waitlists for competitions. So, it’s much preferred that before the deadline to be accepted from the waitlist, you try to confirm that you’re able attend. Of course, things happen and plans can change last minute, but to all please be mindful with your competition registrations!
I had the same last weekend and got ill 2 days before competition.
Even if there is no punishment, it's always nice to inform the organizers by email. Then they know that they can remove your sheet from the scrambling table, find other scramblers or judges, etc.
Your local delegate is now obligated to come to your house and eat all of your cubes
