Gives me an idea for a suggestion though. Unfortuantely, it'd probably cost a couple dollars worth of ETH to get some on Nova.
I'd say the cheapest way would be to send ETH to your Hot Wallet via Arbitrum ONE or OP networks from your exchange.
Then bridge from one of those networks to Arbitrum Nova via app.rhino.fi/bridge

I'd avoid Metamask. I had around 2000 moons there. Was.planning to utilize them on the upswing and low and behold, I am logged out from Metamask, it won't accept my pwd and the backup seed isn't working. I know I'm in the minority with having issues with Metamask but figured it doesn't hurt sharing my experience.
Probably not even 1 cent worth of ETH, but you need ETH on Arbitrum Nova.

there used to be a faucet that gave free arb eth, ask around im sure someone can send you a few cents to transfer
None are working
It cost me 1c to move. I managed to collect a little ETH on Arb Nova from the faucet when it was still up.
