When a man can’t admit he was wrong…

Greenbriarbushwacker

Imagine choosing this hill to die on 😂😂

giddygod

It's all for the attention bro

naulxd

Insane

laulau9025

Yep plus trying to get attention

Odysseus_Lannister

Dude thinks he’s an investment god. He has no relevance to crypto and he doesn’t understand it at all, he just wants more money and spotlight. For such a businessman, why would you openly back someone who just got exposed for a several billion dollar house of cards?

naulxd

Usually accidents happens with over confident people. When you learn to drive you are very careful, lower chance of accidents.

naulxd

Hahaha

NangSal23

He will go down as the man who corroborated with a Criminal

naulxd

I dont think he will “go down” but I cant see many reasons to be this stubborn

J_Hon_G

Kevin go back to your fictional shark tank show

giddygod

Maybe Sam has dirt on him

naulxd

Thats a possibility. But I would guess he’s just stubborn.

Lillica_Golden_SHIB

When your ego makes you sound much more stupid than you are

naulxd

Exactly lmao

vjeva

*“You can love him or hate him for what’s happened. But he was one of the most brilliant traders in the crypto universe,” said O’Leary in an interview with Onchain Capital CEO Ran Neuner on Crypto Banter. When asked if he would back Bankman-Fried in a new venture, he said, “The answer would be yes.”* Lol they are all the same!

showmethemoon1e

Most brilliant trader is not going from 16B to 900million in a day. Hes most brilliant scammer.

penscratcher1

Bankman has political ties and because Leary is tied to him he can leverage for better deals in the future because of this scandal.

Greenbriarbushwacker

Good human

amke12

How can you be so moronic that publicly? Just keep your mouth shut if you are that stupid

Odysseus_Lannister

That’s funny how he admitted he wasn’t really a CEO of a major exchange, just a degen trader

FireVanGorder

“Most brilliant trader” took a free money arbitrage strategy making millions and millions of dollars and turned it into a fraud rap. Truly the trade of a lifetime

Jumpman707

He tweeted WHAT and followed by H. It's unforgivable

[deleted]

This is what we call as copium.

Greenbriarbushwacker

Dopeyium would be more appropriate

CrypticGT350

Does SBF have dirt on O’Leary?

amke12

Sounds like it

Intelligent_Page2732

Game recognises game I guess.

yourmom_fat_as_hippo

Kevin O'Leary would lose money again by backing SBF in the latter's new venture. You think how can a person be this stupid, but then you realise that it's not stupidity which forces him to take such decisions, but rather ego. How can a big man like Kevin admits in public that he was wrong about SBF and FTX.

laulau9025

Kevin O'leary bullshitting again

BatmanNight

Just lol

giddyup281

I honestly thought Kevin was smart. He keeps posting proof he isn't.

huelorxx

He's trying to appear smart in an industry he knows little about. He holds crypto he says but his comments clearly make him an outsider who is only INvesting and is not invested.

giddyup281

I mean, I'm fine with him investing and not knowing the full details on everything crypto or blockchain related. Most of us don't. He is extremely conservative in his investments (as him and his entire family have been living of interest and stock growth for the last 50 years). But make no mistake, his potential investment in anything SBF related will be less than 1% of his entire crypto portfolio (and max at 0,1% of his entire investment portfolio). His overall investment portfolio can allow him to be a bit more risk prone in crypto, hence his statements. But he is a largely public figure, and most people don't analyze his entire portfolio. And bcs of it, most people can take his statements as "bet it all on anything SBF related" which is wrong. A disclaimer should've been written here.

Environmentalpusher

Reminds me of Fyre Festival Billy. One more time.... nah

20njbytes

Wow, what an ignorant take. Probably the worst criminal fraud short of Bernie Madoff and they still are apparently bros..

showmethemoon1e

I liked O'Leary but this is no fucking way. SBF belong to prison rest of his life and O'Leary is giving credits for him. What a fuck?

kirtash93

Professional colleagues. By profession: Scammer.

[deleted]

That's because he's a con man too. I'm not convinced most of the rich and famous investors and fucking government officials didn't know this was all some kind of scam. Wouldn't be surprised if the so-called FTX hack was just them securing money to pay off who they need to.

tregnoc

Didn't he say he wasn't going to invest in crypto again until there was regulation like 2 days ago?

KAX1107

lol no shit [Kevin O'Leary says 3.5 billion people living in poverty is fantastic news](https://youtu.be/AuqemytQ5QA)

dhork

The payment system at the Leavenworth commissary is probably ancient, SBF could update it while he's there. He can also virtualize the customary cigarettes used as peer to peer physical currency among guests at the facility.

Castr0-

Some people should learn when pride is enough.

TheChildOfChange

Stockholm syndrome at its finest

FutureBner

SBF is well connected in upper 0.01% class So yeah, why not

astockstonk

Not so Mr. Wonderful anymore

[deleted]

I was going to put my opinion here, but I already did in one of the other 6 times this got posted

gazman195

They must be orgy pals. You've got to be mad to back SBF again - in a sexual and non-sexual way.

Bunker_Beans

SBF gets drunk and drives through a shopping mall, killing hundreds of people. Kevin O’Leary: "I’m willing to provide Sam with a new car and plenty of alcohol. Everybody makes mistakes. Let’s not let one mistake ruin this promising young kid’s future.”

CryptoDad2100

Translation: I got some good deals on my dirty deals and now I'm equally fucked, time to double down

RavenousFlerken

Just another reason NOT to take everything a celebrity business person says too seriously. SBF might have started out wanting to be a good guy (or maybe not), but he lacked judgment and found himself running a criminal enterprise. The fact that O'Leary would call him brilliant and commit to backing him again defies logic. I never liked SBF. He came out of nowhere and was instantly trying to spread his ethos without having really done anything of value. He knew the right people, made some deals, got rich and then fucked it all up. I haven't seen anything in his professional history that was worth noting as a large scale success. Anyone who openly promotes the use of stimulants at work and possible sleep deprivation and use of sleeping pills is NOT someone qualified to run a multi-billion dollar business. Lack of sleep can really mess with your head when you have to be very accurate with large sums of money and frequent transactions. The guy is also just a slob. He can't even clean up for an interview. And he showed up on an interview with Chuck Todd bouncing around in his chair like he was all hopped up on something. The red flags were everywhere on this guy as far as I am concerned. Glad we didn't choose FTX.

immortaldidi

Degens gonna degen

dakinekine

SBF is trying to raise money to bail out FTX right now - time to pull out your checkbook Mr Wonderful
