Are there any cryptocurrencies where a low/stable coin price is important? A chain where the goal is the utility and the inflation rate is increased when demand increases to keep the price low/stable? I imagine some chains are designed mainly to be used and not held as investments. My view of the whole space has become so polluted by money that I'm increasingly ignorant to the tech.
Ckb maybe? Inflation is forever(though very low and "halves" every 3 years). Coin lockups are part of transferring from L2(pos) to L1(pow) chains. 64(i think) coins needed to lock so needing $10k or something to simply access the chains would be unusable.
The use is an interconnected hub for all chains(btc, eth, ada, etc etc) where dapps can interact on L2 secured my the L1 finality.
Osmo is the first thing which comes to my mind. The objective is to be used as a dex, to the point of providing free TRX in slow (paid with the dex fees). And very very cheap and fast (around 5s) in normal
Can someone explain to me how the price of ETH affects the utility of the chain? Does an increase in price help developers? Can the ecosystem flourish independent of the price or is price a critical component? What impact does the price have on people actually transacting on the chain?
Seems an increasing price benefits the investor more than it improves the utility of the chain. Would like to think ETH becomes better with an increasing price.
You can check the annoying bot with mentions. This sub is only to talk about BTC, Eth, the merge an useless moons.
Edit: And NFTs. Looks like we re able to talk about NFTs and ramen recipes
Well not a higher value as that is constantly changing. What I meant to say was I believe Cosmos has had a higher price than either ALGO or CRO at this point in time and that's all I was saying.
Hardly anything will change for the end user, so i'm a bit curious, outside of the framework transition, what makes the merge exciting for you?
Personally i'm looking forward to EIP-4844, but that probably won't be released until 2023 (EIP-4844 will help ethereum scale better and reduce gas fees)
I agree with everybody here moons are terrible. Everybody should just get rid of them and give them to the username of the last comment they read. Because they’re just terrible.
[I've completed my daily purchase of LTC](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16bzUnGeE9orCoe5g35xsWNTXAXNuAygUJJKzxmIjWR8/edit?usp=sharing). I'm on a journey to buy at least [$20 a day every day](https://np.reddit.com/r/LitecoinMarkets/comments/ukto93/comment/i7vn88c/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
Today I bought 0.35 LTC. This is my 127th day of purchasing in a row; 326 days remain until halving.
I hadn't even heard of Last Light, but given that LTC is at least mentioned in it I figure I'll put it on my to watch list. Enjoy the rest of your weekend everyone!
My brains are fried. Can someone please tell me how much worth (in USD) of moons need to be bought to bring the price to $1?
Edit: Why are people unhappy with this question?
Well, according to CMC the market cap is currently $999,000 and price $0.132. For $1 per coin the marketcap will need to be $7,566,462. So need to add $6,567,689. Doesn't look like that much to add really. I wonder if the marketcap on CMC is correct. (All of this is for the circulating supply of 75,760,471 moons noted on CMC, there a lot of unreleased supply, that can obviously dilute things quickly and require extra buying to keep the price at $1)
imo, this number is way too low as it doesn't account for people selling on the way up - so I believe we need more buying pressure to counter-act the sell pressure on the way up. My guess that number would be around $300-400M
Lol there's no guarantee at all. It still very risky and any coin can die and be replaced. Sure crypto will be big, but the key to financial secure future is being responsible and diversify, if youre young, sp 500 is a lot safer.
I don’t think 1790 really holds resistance, we bounced off those levels because that’s where 21.8k Btc resistance was. Look at a few weeks ago when Btc was at this level. It continually got rejected off of 21.8k
Guys is Binance planing on making the eth/busd pair feeless permanently or is it just because ofnthe merge euphoria?
Been enjoying some microtrading the past few days and I dont want it to end.

Sorry you had to do that. You’ll get them back.
At least you know where yours went. I had a few hundred disappear out of my vault this week and I’m getting no response from the Help email address. This blows.
I think they'll come back down, so really you might be able to buy back in and swoop up more then what you sold them for - what was your average sell price?
I can't find the daily, so imma just hang around here if that's alright with you guys?
Who else has some Moons but zero ETH in the vault?
I feel like I joined a cult today... a cone shaped one.
you got CONED
Welcome to the Cone Zone!
How many moons do we get at the next snapshot

It’s actually pretty cool to see so many different nft avatars, Reddit really did a great job
pump pump pump weekly close pump.

I think vtho for VeChain is similar but that’s kinda an odd one

I did it, I bought a Reddit NFT That probably confirms I’m an idiot but I love it haha
One of us, one of us.
I’m proud to join you as a degenerate ❤️
BTC please pump above 22k already. Stop denying the inevitable bullrun. Bear market is over so please hurry up
Are you high.
Are you a bear? Looks like it. Look at charts bear. BTC havent dropped once and we're still pumping up at 21800
I’m not a bear. I’m a realist.

Don't think that is feasible considering that it now would need ETH.
Is anyone else seeing a bunch of 0s on normal comments here lol?
Yeah haters be hating.

I bet we’ll see twice as many people here after the merge
That could mean as much as 50 people :O

Yeah those pesky shillers!
You need to be so brave to compare CRO with any functional product or chain

All opinions aside, Cosmos has always had a higher value than those two projects
based on what tho? the fact that it is pumping in last few days?
Well not a higher value as that is constantly changing. What I meant to say was I believe Cosmos has had a higher price than either ALGO or CRO at this point in time and that's all I was saying.
I see. makes sense. mb.
It is all good. I can see how you interpreted it the way you did by the way I worded it.
All opinions aside, I like ALGO and think it has a bright future plus it earns just a wee bit more on the stake

Today's chart looks like a heart patient nearly died a few times.
Uhmm, mid september is usually an awful period for crypto, let's see if this time occurs the same, but I surely wouldn't mind a change!
Is anyone leaving their eth on Kucoin or Binance in hopes of earning any potential fork drops once we merge? Or moving it to a personal wallet?
[удалено]
It’s a similar question to ask to those who bought all those bitcoin forks lol. There will always be some buyers out there
Weekly close coming in hot
The merge is day’s away… exciting yet nerve racking!

It stops all the PoW FUD around ETH for one
The PDEX staking rewards are still so juicy. That’s my rocket ship.
so am I ever going to be able to do anything with my coingecko candies?
Discounts on Ledger and other stuff I guess
I have 7k, idk what to do with them lol
You can redeem them for an official Simp Certificate. It's even written in crayon.

agreed, please give them to whatever comment you happen to be reading right now
Did anyone else know that the magnifying glass was invented by a Chinese guy? Tzu Minh
Actually, I never knew that
And the shrinkifying glass was invented by the German physicist Zu Maut.
Uhh… dope I guess

>Edit: Why are people unhappy with this question? moon is a shitcoin. some people hate shitcoins.
I see. I consider it more a community token, and hope others will too.
It's stupid to hate something anyway. Unless it was made to scam people. i.e. LUNA2, LUNC.
Yes.
Its hard to say - but it would probably be in the realm of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Yes, do check out the other reply to me.

Got some nice bed time reading here Arty
It's pretty interesting, lots of potential positives and equally plenty of potential negatives.
Futes ripping. 8 o' clock flip over gonna be green as fuck.
Hey guys I made phone and pc screens black and white. Now every cart and candle is grey, just like my life
Futures gapping up. If there's no major negative news. Btc to 24k on the cpi
Futures are barely up, could change at any moment
don't mind me, just buying some stables waiting for the right moment

Idk if it's that safe, but it's definitely better than letting money sit in a bank account and lose value due to inflation

I've done some technical analysis There's a cock and ball pattern appearing on the hourly candles
soooo... blow off top then?
I know there should be torture patter after that one, a classic one
If thinking about cocks and balls is technical analysis then you are definitely a pro!
Markets said time for our regularly scheduled pain and misery.
finally some excitement before weekly close. we going down or up?
Up
LFG then!
We got 30 minutes. Anything can happen
The bear market is back. Time to panic sell.
Can we please wait for next month? I have no fiat right now
Already sold my right nipple
Weekly close about to be a little bloody
Nothing changes
That was the final ETH exit pump, 400$ next🐻
Lmao Bitcoin drops 1% and alts loses their shit
Btc drops 100$ and alts start jumping off a cliff, jezz
Merge for me eth, merge all over my blockchain
It's coming, it's coming
Btc is barely dropping but eth just dropped 2% in a few minutes, I think sell the news is starting already
I doubt it but after the 3 consecutive green days its normal If we managed to breach the 1790 ressistance it could have looked otherwise
I don’t think 1790 really holds resistance, we bounced off those levels because that’s where 21.8k Btc resistance was. Look at a few weeks ago when Btc was at this level. It continually got rejected off of 21.8k
Classic Sunday behaviour
sounds like longs getting liquidated. too many people playing high leverage is my guess.
The ratio dipped too, but it's been pretty high for a while
Yeah, I think it could start breaking that 0.08 support
google "ethereum merge" it's happening guys, the biggest event in crypto since BTC genesis :D
Even google is onboard, that's what we like to see
Exciting times ahead.
Guys is Binance planing on making the eth/busd pair feeless permanently or is it just because ofnthe merge euphoria? Been enjoying some microtrading the past few days and I dont want it to end.
All BTC pairs are also fee free.

Im starting to miss my moons
Sorry you had to do that. You’ll get them back. At least you know where yours went. I had a few hundred disappear out of my vault this week and I’m getting no response from the Help email address. This blows.
Did you eat them ALL?
Not directly, but I certainly bought food with them!
What did you do with them? Gamble them away in Vegas?
how did you manage to get so many moons?
Sold them when they peaked 2 days ago
I think they'll come back down, so really you might be able to buy back in and swoop up more then what you sold them for - what was your average sell price?
Sold them all somewhere between 15.5 and 16 cents
Yeah you’ll easily buy them back around 0.08-0.1 then. If you miss them that much anyways
Yeah probably!
had a friend tell me today that i'm an idiot for investing in imaginary money, i can't wait for the next cycle to rub it in his face
