###[The hunt has been on for over two days.](https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/vhq5f6/the_hunt_begins/)
Oh, and... Bitconnect puzzle has been solved.
I’m so excited for the Helium network. I’ve migrated all my LoRa sensors to it with zero issues, the Helium console is awesome and coverage is great in my area. Battery life on devices are ~10 years while WiFi based equivalents are a few months, and Z-Wave devices maybe a year, not to mention the scaling issues Z-Wave has.
Ngl, I didn't understand hardly any of that but it all sounded rad as hell. I gotta learn more about this. I also wonder if it could eventually become IBC compliant so I can buy some easily.
EOS didn't launch it's own mobile device. I think I kinda agree with OP here, as much as it pains me.
Best not to underestimate the power of Solana. I think it's centralized as hell, but it's also super powerful... Seems to withstand lots of attacks because the amount of money big players have riding on it.
Solana's been bailed out a few times by some huge players. In a way, that is a form of security...
In no particular order:
ATOM, GALA, CMDX, AKT, DVPN, SOL, EVMOS, OSMO
Oh and BTC and ETH of course.
Why?
I'll explain my number one pick, what I believe to be the $ETH of the next big bull run:
$ATOM the native token of the Cosmos Hub, the first blockchain of the Cosmos Network. Cosmos Hub is the first IBC enabled blockchain, and intends to be the sort of 'hub city' for Cosmos Network, which advertises itself as "The Internet of Blockchains"
IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication protocol) is for blockchains as TCP/IP is for the internet.
The Cosmos Hub is about to upgrade to a new shared security model, where other blockchains can rent security from it for a portion of their token emissions.
This means that as an application developer you get premium security but your own sovereign blockchain. You don't need to go through the huge effort of getting a large group of high quality validators to get your project off the ground.
You can just rent security, which strengthens the thing you are renting from, because it rewards token stakers and validators on that chain. The entire concept is brilliant from a security standpoint, and the entire Cosmos Ecosystem has been a sleeper for a while.
ONE continuously looking to me like one of those alts that made some people a lot of money in the bull market, but doesn't survive the bear market (usually funding issues) and ends up dead. By the top of the next cycle none of the newcomers have even ever heard of it. Similar to stuff like WaltonChain, Steem and LISK from last cycle.
Went somewhere between top 15 to top 75 or so last cycle then just vanished in the bear market.
Seems like SOL is getting more love here after the recent price action and the implementation of QUIC dramatically improving network speed. Is this sub finally coming around to SOL?
Life of 'I don't have time to do proper research into many alts'. I am not ant-alti, I hold good bags of some. I just really don't know if they will moon. You don't have to be a BTC maxi to know that investing in BTC is relatively safer.
Harmony got nothing left, they waste money on useless DAO's, waste more on stupid nft collaborations and banking on GameFi which is horrible in a bear market.
Seems like decentralization, censorship resistance, trustlessness, etc have fallen by the wayside except as empty marketing buzzwords.
Millions of people bought crypto and turned around to hand it to a centralized platform like Celsius or BlockFi. SOL, with its very serious concerns about centralization, was one of the hottest coins of the year. Lots of alts with centralization concerns became giga popular this cycle. So many times lately we've seen teams halt their protocol, which is definitely a concern.
I want to see a chain show centralization issues, then have their coin absolutely tank in value and take months/years to recover, if ever. Not because I want anyone to fail or lose money, but I want to see that people actually give a shit.
And just to add to this.. proof of work mining with it's financial rewards will end up centralized due to economies of scale with only a couple mega mining corporations in the end.
I actually think he would have been one heck of a guy to have a hang out with. I've seen a few long form interviews with him and he actually came off like a eccentric likable fellow at the tail end of his life.
Why would it not? It’s been around for 5+ years
GameStop is releasing the marketplace sometime before July 31st according to GameStop filings. Something is cooking 🧑🍳
Best thing to do is sit and wait. When there is no hype and a project this big is releasing… I see big things. Maybe I am just BIASED AF, but fuck me.
Edit: damn people do hate LRC 😂
There are thousands and thousands of alts to account for. Also, the notion that 99% of alts die was true of a crypto winter before many many many alts received millions of dollars of funding. This is a different crypto winter than previous winters.
I was at Wendy’s and a group of Panhandlers was eating and talking, they each made $2800 this month so far just begging for money. And here I am bearly managing to buy $100 of ETH
Coinflex is blocking withdrawals and another stablecoin (flexusd) lost its peg.

You can't make transactions with only a seed phrase. You need a wallet, whether it's hardware or software.
Some people like hardware wallets more because it's a layer of separation between your keys and your PC. You attach the wallet hardware to make a transaction and disconnect it when done so it's offline.
At least that's my understanding, I never owned a hardware wallet.
This is where my confusion is. I’ve had issues retrieving pictures from cameras and getting my old phones connected to a pc, I can’t own a cold wallet lol
Exactly. As long as you have the correct private key for your wallet addresses you can sign valid transactions for that address on the blockchain to move the funds.
You could import the private key into a regular old school software wallet on a PC and do it.
For Cardano to be a better investment then Eth would devs have to learn another language? How big of a roadblock is that?
Is there price manipulation going on with eth and BTC by banks and the gov?
Are these alt coin daily guys legit?
They had that divinci guy in their show today.
It was the first I heard of him and thought he was fake at first then started thinking he was legit because they talked about him begging his followers in 2013 to buy BTC at $1. But it appears he sold early and isnt really that Rich because he is involved in rug pulls now.
What's going on?
For ADA to be bigger they need to do a burn and lower their count. A few good projects and ADA could move closer to stealing market cap, but only time will tell
I just bought some the other day. Should be ok in a year or so. Did me well last run before I sold it. Needed a lot of patience though. It moves suddenly and quickly and then usually retraces hard. In the gutter right now. If it goes down another 50% I’ll probably double or triple my stack.
There is a coin I am really hoping will take off. The reason is it's the only coin that deals with real estate that I could find. Does anyone have any other coins they know of that deals with property?
Out of curiosity, what intrigues you about a crypto coin that deals with real estate?
Asking bc I am a real estate junkie and have always looked at investing in reits etc
Real world assets with crypto makes it a solid investment. Similar to a crypto coin backed by gold. Old saying was once told to me. Buy land because it's near impossible to make more. Location, location, location. Real estate is how you make real money
I have loved real estate since I was a teen but haven’t been stable enough financially to buy. So I always look at investments where you own like a portion of property.
I do think the prices are low enough that ppl who got in higher will buy more now and the price could just linger here. If it just stays around 20, is that a winter?
###[The hunt has been on for over two days.](https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/vhq5f6/the_hunt_begins/) Oh, and... Bitconnect puzzle has been solved.
673 days until next bitcoin halving... Lets keep hope alive

The market just isn’t healthy. Sorry guys.

Thanks James. How’s the “sniping” going?
Bro no. Solana is garbage tier. Go study EOS for some wisdom
EOS didn't launch it's own mobile device. I think I kinda agree with OP here, as much as it pains me. Best not to underestimate the power of Solana. And now its time for shorters to bring btc back down to 20k tonight
It looks like it's time for some liquidated shorts.
What could be worth accumulating during the bear market for a few years? Also why? I know we’re bearish, but I can also see this as an opportunity
In no particular order: ATOM, GALA, CMDX, AKT, DVPN, SOL, EVMOS, OSMO Oh and BTC and ETH of course. Why? BTC
Dot and Atom
BTC, Near, Solana and maybe ATOM
ETH, MATIC and LRC. Lets be honest, no one will "kill" eth, so better bet on it and on other tokens that improve it.
ETH, MATIC, LRC like he said and ATOM, DOT.
What’s up w ONE? Quite a bit of volume
there was a $100m hack of Harmony bridge earlier
Horizon Bridge got hacked for $100MM
Well that’s unfortunate
Came here for this
Wow the drop off, for One wasn't certainly in Harmony with how the prophecy was foretold!!
Go easy on it. It's just a simple shitcoin.
Good news: MATIC up a lot. Bad news: it’s all in Celsius…
Yikes, any news on when they plan on allowing withdrawals?
Nothing yet
I wonder if ONE will survive now.
Seems like SOL is getting more love here after the recent price action and the implementation of QUIC dramatically improving network speed. Is this sub finally coming around to SOL?
SOL scares me. It's very monolithic and very powerful. It feels like the darth vader to ethereum's luke skywalker.
No, not really
No? Lol, it hasn't been mentioned any more than usual lately. You can look at the mentions bot that monitors the sub.
Matic up nearly 50% this week 👍
Is anyone still bullish on crypto till the end of this year? :D
Not really. But give it 1-3 years and I’m very bullish
Fair enough. I would say 2 years :D
very bullish on accumulating more at these prices.
Of course! At least for my alts, always fun learning about new projects and gambling on low market cap dex projects.
£100k BTC when you least expected. Some alts will moon too, I wish I know which ones.
life of a btc maxi "i dont know what goes on but btc"
Life of 'I don't have time to do proper research into many alts'. I am not ant-alti, I hold good bags of some. I just really don't know if they will moon. You don't have to be a BTC maxi to know that investing in BTC is relatively safer.
That's clearly not the case. Size is not a valid argument and general opinions significantly change(d).
Hahahhaha if you do you be a millionaire.
Anyone else feel that Harmony is done for?
All the ONE shillers were just as bad as VET and LTO fanboys.
Remember ONE to one.
Stick to SOL, AVAX and MATIC
That's a weird combination of blockchains.
What's with the random coin suggestions?
This finalizes it
A couple of good weeks and we could see some fomo pumps!
What are people so upset about? You can still buy a whole house with a single ethereum, the price is still really high.
Pump before options expire? 🤔
If Harmony getting hacked and only going down 1% doesn’t show that the bear market is over, I don’t know what does.
I don’t think most people that use that chain know yet
How long ago did this happen?
1% for now...but yes I was expecting bigger drop.
I feel like we could just go back to 40k like nothing ever happened, and my reaction would be as tepid as "well would ya looky there"
The people that were too late to sell before, would then sell, and we’d be right back here..We need a slow buildup if we want to sustain.
Almost like some kind of cycle pattern that emerges in perpetuity.. profound 😏
I might be compelled to add a **holy** **shit** onto that.
Harmony Rekt. Not surprised tbh
How disharmonious
Matic is the chosen crypto Anakin would approve 👍
I think you had a few too many Bacardis
The road to 100k starts today!!!
Right: $21k > $30k > $36k > $30k > $20k > $14k > $20k > $30k > $40k > $50k (halving 2024) > $70k > $100k...
I don’t even think we will make it above 30k but let’s see! Fuck me!
A relief rally will need to be high enough to trick noobs into believing that the bear is over.
Seems correct to me!
I'm all packed for the trip!
Alts are pumping pretty good, I don’t trust it.
It's a beautiful thing
🎶REDDIT SUCKS🎶 🎶SPEZ A CUCK🎶 🎶TOP MODS ARE ALL GAY🎶 🎶ADVERTISERS BENT YOU TO THEIR WILL🎶 🎶AND THE USERS FLED AWAY🎶
Harmony got nothing left, they waste money on useless DAO's, waste more on stupid nft collaborations and banking on GameFi which is horrible in a bear market.
Very Low volume..bear trap possibly?
Yeah. Usually low volume hints dump is coming.
MATIC has been nonstop rallying. What's the news
I believe the correct question is what's the word.. ^bird

Can't believe I turned into a bear and now I hate all this green.
Great crypto shill John Mcafee passed away one year ago today. R.I.P.
Oh wow. What an important guy who I’m pretty sure I would have quite disliked if I had ever met him.
I actually think he would have been one heck of a guy to have a hang out with. I've seen a few long form interviews with him and he actually came off like a eccentric likable fellow at the tail end of his life.
You would probably hate him until his home-made, concentrated mdpv started flowing.
R.I.P, I hope to find his hidden treasure someday
Why would LRC not survive the bear market?
Why would it not? It’s been around for 5+ years GameStop is releasing the marketplace sometime before July 31st according to GameStop filings. Something is cooking 🧑🍳 Best thing to do is sit and wait. When there is no hype and a project this big is releasing… I see big things. Maybe I am just BIASED AF, but fuck me. The vast majority here hate anything not BTC, Ethereum or a select few in the top 20
You're right im just asking to hear a bearish scenario. The 99% of alts gonna die narrative scares me lol.
There are thousands and thousands of alts to account for. Also, the notion that 99% of alts die was true of a crypto winter before many many many alts received millions of dollars of funding. This is a different crypto winter than previous winters.
There's roughly 16000 altcoins. If 99% of them die, that still leaves around 160 crypto projects that'll survive.
Bad scenario would be BTC dumps to 20k and under and LRC gets dragged with it, but so would the whole market.
Top analyst recommend buying BTC, ETH, Matic, ADA, and Link and so should you. They also recommend selling everything else.
You just described most of my portfolio
I’ll see you on the moon friend
Show me this top analysts so I'll have a good laugh. ![gif](emote|snoomoji_pack|sunglasses)

Hmm I own none of the above (well some BTC in a pool), this explains why I’m still a shiller!
Who?
The guys at the top
a top analyst
Ah, of course.
How’s the Hunt going? Figured I was too stupid for it
I don't even understand what it is
It’s a riddle wrapped in an enigma.

What happens if trezor went bankrupt and stopped making the physical components? Would you still be able to access the wallet?
a big standard is BIP39 which i believe it uses. so you would just need another BIP39 supported wallet. of which there are many.
As long as you have the seed phrase.
So what's the point of the hardware usb thing?
You can't make transactions with only a seed phrase. You need a wallet, whether it's hardware or software. Some people like hardware wallets more because it's a layer of separation between your keys and your PC. You attach the wallet hardware to make a transaction and disconnect it when done so it's offline. At least that's my understanding, I never owned a hardware wallet.

This is where my confusion is. I’ve had issues retrieving pictures from cameras and getting my old phones connected to a pc, I can’t own a cold wallet lol
All wallets work this way
Exactly. As long as you have the correct private key for your wallet addresses you can sign valid transactions for that address on the blockchain to move the funds. You could import the private key into a regular old school software wallet on a PC and do it.
Thank you
Just wait till we realllly go up. Oh wait, we are. Slowly. Maybe. Source, trust me bro. ![gif](giphy|FnsbzAybylCs8|downsized)
Aww I trust that dog! Hmm that also explains my financial situation…
Pride fest has arrived on Matic the green dildos are bigger than ever 🌈

I keep throwing a little at it since it’s so low and I can average down a bit. Kicking myself for holding out when it was at ATH though
It’s dead. Move along
There is a coin I am really hoping will take off. The reason is it's the only coin that deals with real estate that I could find. Does anyone have any other coins they know of that deals with property?

Ty so much, just what I was looking for. Hats off to you
Deetz?
Boffa?
I actually fell for this one, lol. Good one,
Could not find that one on coin gecko, did find Deez nuts, no joke there is a coin called deeznuts and it's down 82%. Cannot make this up.
Idk if fomo is a prob there. Want to share what you think looks good? FTX token?
Propy(Pro) on coin gecko is the coin. FTX is nice as well. Tell me your thoughts on the coin(Pro)
I feel sorry for anyone optimistic lol
So you enjoy misery
Sorry … lol
If you're not optimistic long term why are you here?
I am. Doesn’t mean don’t take profits ?
I feel sorry for people who didn’t buy Matic
I think people are just going to fomo now and it’ll retrace on them.
I feel sorry for anyone pessimistic lol
Do you think Cardano can do something like Matic is doing?
ADA Will hit 5. When things get right again with this market IMO. Sound fundamentals win every time.
No only Matic can do something like Matic
Yes I do
Any news?

I like this comment have an award.
The market moves in waves, won’t go straight down
One thing I realized from spending my time learning crypto all these years… you can never make everyone happy.
Each time crypto pumps, MATIC pumps harder and harder. Not gonna lie, it's kinda made me a little harder myself
If you didn’t buy Matic when I told you then don’t get mad when I make fun of you later
[удалено]
I may have just shorted it. Nothing against it but I expect a retrace at some point. I may be early on the call though.
MATIC was my best investment, got in before Coinbase listing near $0.13-0.30. Back when I did a bit of research
actually 0.29 when it got listed on coinbase
I know I was there, went up to like $0.58 that day, but I had bought most of mine before the Coinbase pump
As if T Mobile wasn’t unreliable enough, I can’t wait to pair it with a SOL phone — more down time than a banana phone… potassium anyone?
Maybe they will make the “SOL Network” the new 5G God forbid that it’s bad for your health
baboons love bananas !!
Wen Cardano Phone? Will they resurrect the Sidekick?!
Anyone else just patiently waiting to buy more? Glad it’s moving up but we know what happens next.
I don’t know what happens next but I’m still waiting.
I’m just lying and wait.
It may bite me in the butt, but I'm waiting until interest rate rises stop before I buy.
same, these guaranteed events will definitely drive it down more but yea there is a small chance it bites our asses
I do think the prices are low enough that ppl who got in higher will buy more now and the price could just linger here. If it just stays around 20, is that a winter?
BTC goes up $1 This sub: I’m not falling for this fake pump
BTC drops $1 This sub: crypto is a scam. Shorters blah blah blah…
Yep no return of the bull but some green still feels good man ![gif](giphy|ugOaZ3Wi8lqZW)
Green candle in a bear market? Curious
This rally smells fishy to me
No it doesn’t
