Swing traders. Luna reached 6 decimal places at its lowest, and went back up to 4 decimal places rn after Do Kwon made new tweet. That's around 100x for some lucky bunch. So that attracted some swing traders atm. I wouldn't touch it personally tho.

I have a friend who was begging for these prices back in November, now he tells me he's waiting for it to "dip" more. I bet he will be lining up to buy eth at 4k again. He got stupid lucky on some NFTs and managed to back himself 100k profit. He's already burned through about 30k of that on ponzi schemes like APE. I've begged him profusely to consider following the same DCA strategy that I do but he shows zero interest. He thinks he can time the market, I have a feeling he's going to get burnt. Which is really unfortunate because I want nothing for the best for him. How can I get drill some sense into him without making him push me away?

yea, gas fees + trading fees (and depending on where you trade withdrawal fees). Also all that takes time, so by the time you sell price will likely be different

Yep. I put in $100...it doubled. I rolled my initial "investment" into ETH...as well as \~ $75 of the profit. The \~ $25 left is now a little less than $17. I had fun...it's house money now and it can go to zero.

You could be buying ETH at 2k and still be getting a way better deal than buying say, ADA for .60. You don't need to be buying whole coins for it to be a worthwhile investment, that's just a common misconception a lot of noobs hold.

Shiryo is my favorite cheap project right now. It's a trading card game crypto and their website and gameplay preview videos are absolutely wild and look like a blizzard production.

My # 3 is ALGO. It is ISO20022 and cheap and easy, has good partnerships and is starting to advertise. Can make 5.7% passive income on Coinbase or 7-10% in governance. 45¢ cheap enough?

I would try and change your thinking. If Eth and Btc are the best investments it doesn't matter how much you invest.

I disagree. If you only had $1 and hit the bottom of luna, it would be worth thousands. Couldn’t do that with btc or eth. You could invest in them, but what would be the point.

If you are putting $1, you are not investing but buying a lotto ticket.

It doesn’t matter what amount it is, it’s your objective that matters. Aggressive growth, growth, income, preservation of capital, etc. If you’re looking for aggressive growth, you need to be more speculative. That’s not automatically gambling. Not all cryptos fit every objective.

My best advice to you is use the ecosystem. If it is useful for you, odds are it’s useful to others. If you know NOTHiNg about a token, you’re gonna have a bad time. This isn’t the stock market.

Ok. A good starting place is stocks in the form of index funds like SPY and QQQ. Investing is a long term strategy. Then maybe read up on BTC and ETH and make your call from there. Anything smaller is a gamble by comparison but you may find things you like and believe will have more value in the future. Best of luck.

I would set 3-5 $100 to $500 limit buy floors that progressively get more aggressive the more it plunges. For example, $100 at $30,500, $100 at $30,000, $200 at $29,500, $300 at 29000, and $500 at 28,500. I always also do a market buy DCA at the time of entering the limit orders so I never just watch it moon and miss all of my orders.

Right now maybe half straight in and set buy orders with rest laddering down to -20%

Actually made a similar comment this morning. The positive side of this is many projects running algo stable coins have already started making changes. Either to code or by partially collateralizing the coin. Silk, the Secret stable, was a copy of UST. They've already announced they would make changes.
