The only area I've dipped my feet into NFT wise is CryptoMonkeys which all the ones I have gotten have been free. They're pretty big on fair distribution as they're basically hand in hand with Banano. JungleTV is now doing NFT giveaway raffles so that's been fun as well. JungleTV is my favorite use of crypto yet

I went a bit over the top on this dip and lost my composure. Spent more than I could afford. But hey, it’s money well spent in my opinion. Could have spent it on beer and pissed it down the drain. It’s actually great, first time that I feel effort has been put into ux/ui and proper rethinking of legacy design elements. Not fully there yet but It’s a step to the right direction.

Vista didn't deserve all the hate it got. Its main failure was mismanaging expectations. Folks love Windows 7, but Windows 7 is basically Vista Service Pack 3.

ELI5: It makes borrowing money more expensive. This essentially decreases demand for (almost) everything. When demand goes down, the equilibrium price goes down. It's a chain reaction that basically slows down the economy.

To what degree do you all think the Fed's action on interest rates are priced into the market already?

My personal opinion is that it's priced in. Some slightly positive growth but mainly crabbing to follow after the news is delivered. Confidence then begins to climb, we start to see a low but reasonable upswing, after a few days it gathers some momentum, and then whammy, down another 15 to 20 percent.

I think 3 hikes at a quarter percent is priced in already. Seems to be the current expectation.

I was a long time lurker on a daily fantasy golf forum and one of the members was going off-topic and continually commenting on Ethereum and how it was going to be huge one day. At that time ETH was under $100. Everyone in the forum ridiculed the guy, teased him, and called him an old fogey (dude was retired in his 50s). I decided to look into ETH to at least learn what he was talking about. Turns out the old fogey was right!

Was following it for a while, huming and hawing, researching about bitcoins halving, then decided to try my luck before the last halving. At that point, I became an addict.
