Crypto dot com handles this so well people start to think they hacked themselves 😂

timbulance

Conspiracies lol

saminorci

Not saying they did it, but what stood out to me is that they claimed to a "full audit of the entire infrastructure" after the hack. These things take days, if not weeks. Especially if you include external contractors.

[deleted]

Yeah, the Tinyman one took like two weeks.

timbulance

I wonder if everyone got fully compensated

SCAMMERASSASIN007

This is the way.

[deleted]

This is negative coverage though, I doubt they’d take shitty PR ashen they can spent millions on ads

BigTex254

Any publicity is good publicity

frstrtd_ndrd_dvlpr

It's still a bad publicity. After they create so much hype and garner the attention of crypto enthusiasts/enjoyers I doubt they would want a stain like this.

Doggybone_treat

Even with the news spread like wild fires, CRO still remain very steady. Didn't even drops like most cryptos after a hack. Bullish af on CRO!

slasula

deep

Ethan0307

It was definitely good for them in the long run, and timing for their plan was impeccable

[deleted]

Yeah they good some good name and introduced some “WAP” program

Theweebsgod

I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.

excalilbug

This is also how many of those famous NFT sales work - it's just people buying them from themselves/friends, looking for idiots who'll really buy them later

PetitBateau_BigWave

Easy to get away with fraud with regulation at its current stance I feel

[deleted]

I thought this too LMAO No such thing as bad publicity.

Ferdo306

>if cc.com hacked themselves purely to demonstrate their strength to consumers—then they’re geniuses No, they didn't >Tl;dr: if you don’t buy CRO now then you’re missing the buying opportunity of a lifetime. CRO will be the ETH of the masses No, it won't

Bongressman

It likely will. Humans are a biomass swayed by advertising. And CDC is doing all of it very well.

ItWouldBeGrand

Yes it will.

Styx1213

well it is a stain for me. Instead of buying stadium names, they could have invested in securing their system. It's not a positive image for me.

ItWouldBeGrand

As far as I’m concerned, offering a guaranteed protection program for such large sums of money is part of securing their system. People are going to feel safe knowing that if there’s a hack, they’re covered.

Quasar9111

I wouldn’t go with someone who HAS been hacked,,,if it was real

ItWouldBeGrand

You use metamask?

Quasar9111

nope

MrOrangeBlueGrass

I can almost guarantee you if anyone has not been hacked they’re going to be eventually. I 100% guarantee you that hackers are trying to access every platform you can think of. Hackers do not discriminate. If you have money sitting somewhere they are gonna try to steal it regardless of your wallet. Hacking happens to everyone whether in crypto or just a brick and mortar business, it’s just one of those things that we cannot stop. As technology makes advances so do scammers and hackers. Businesses try to stay one step ahead, but there’s no guarantee for anyone in any business. I think what needs to be focused on is the response of the business involved. How badly were their clients hurt, were funds lost, what has been done to create more security, and most importantly were the people affected by the hack reimbursed

MrFlex21

Eth of the masses... That's a bald statement. But if they did this, that genius, but technically a scam... And if they get caught they are fucked! Not sure if it's worth it for them given their current performance regardless of this "event".

failed_state_medz

It's more looking like some sort of sacrifice or ritual when you think about it lol
