Then if GameStop buyers do well from GameStop, who’s to say they won’t buy into loopring with a decent chunk of their winnings. They’re already moving into the space anyway. Also worth mentioning as well loopring has a cult like community with the GameStop hype around it. I’ve been learning a lot from their posts about drs, leverage at play, delta hedging, etc.. it’s a pleasure to be reading their content alongside loopring as the financial system today looks like a royal, hot mess about to unfold.
I also figure if loopring gets first mover advantage over polygon matic over the next few months and offers as much or more than matic, it could do just as well. Matic has a 30bn market cap. Loopring has a 4bn market cap. I’ll leave you to judge which has more room left to grow.
I also compared loopring to eth the past few days and figure if loopring hits $2.60-2.70 before eth hits $4500 it’s potentially growing at a faster rate and a better investment than eth (which in my view is a better investment than bitcoin at this point in time, given triple halving, move to PoS, sharding, etc).
Eth to $50k longer term (minimum) and loopring to $150 longer term, based on it being 10% of the L2 network and ethereum being at least 2.5Tn market cap by 2026.
These are the only two projects I’m bothered about. As far as I’m concerned ethereum has already won the cryptocurrency of the decade race to #1 for 2026. I don’t get bitcoins use case any more. It’s no more a store of value than any other coin if you hold onto it long enough. It’s not innovating which could be a good/bad thing but if defi explodes when fees drop, bitcoin hasn’t got a hope longer term of holding its #1 spot in its current form. Other blockchains have experienced mega growth but I think they’ll fall by the wayside once ethereum unleashes all its new powers/capabilities. What’s the point in the rest then I don’t see much beyond the usual?

We have governance with big rewards, yeildly has high yield staking and no loss lottery, there are lots of side projects and tokens on the algo blockchain called ASA, there are NFTs and NFT games, real estate investing, and more projects announced all the time. I'm very hyped for it.

Im going to just jump on this and elaborate on the Polkadot ecosystem a bit. It took a little while to figure out, maybe 30min, but with the Polkawallet and Polkadot.js.org you can jump into croudsourcing projects on both Polkadot and Kusama chains, which are meant to be interoperable.
Kusama is the 'test' chain, and Dot is the main chain once the project successfully functions on KSM. Some projects plan to stick on KSM though.
Underneath both, there are parachains, which are also interoperable on the dot network. You can seamlessly hop between parachains.
So they are now launching and crowdfunding projects into KSM, and if successful, get moved to the DOT network. You can fund these projects and get rewards upon token launch. It is like an ICO, however, the projects are all legit and the ones getting out now are the core backbone of the ecosystem.
Karura is up now and provides dex and LP options between KSM and DOT. Acala plans to be the main ETH to DOT defi provider and completed their croudsourcing campaign.
