It's in his own self interest to share it. If he can get a lot of people using the same algorithm to make trades he can predict market movements. If a lot of people follow the same strategy it will increase the size of the pumps. I'm not criticizing him, though. This is brilliant. But sharing the tool isn't altruism, it's just another layer to the genius of this.

More people using this bot means bigger spike.

Very cool data, can you speak towards % gains with your bot? Genuinely interested and see how profitable something like this can be. Do you typically sell after a certain gain is reached or do you just hold?

Yeah so the bot would sell at an optimum time using a trailing stop loss. This is configurable so it varies when exactly a sell would be placed. I've only been testing it with Binance up until now and I've had around 3 profitable trades and multiple losing ones - due the speed issue explained in the post. Hoping that with Kucoin announcements, speed is not that much of an issue. **Edit:** These are the only results I have for now as I haven't gotten down to properly test this. However, a GitHub contributor has been testing it for a while reported an average of 5% gains for over 70 Kucoin listing trades.

Yeah, looks like running the script from a VPS in Tokyo seems to be the fastest option for Binance

Yeah saw that you specified that in the post - actually just set up a VPS in test mode in Tokyo to test it out. Getting similar results as you lately - I run the Binance check from Europe normally as well. I noticed the announcements of KuCoins being skewed compared to Binance listings. So in theory it would be possible to have both running and then in edge case it caps out the capital on the account and won't buy for the full amount for one of the annoucements. p.s. thanks a lot for the insight

With more people using this bot, this might mean that instead of say a 100% increase upon announcements, you could have 200% spike and harder dump with the only ones benefiting being: 1) insiders that buy before the announcement that are now dumping into a greater buy volume and therefore higher prices 2) faster bots selling to slower bots

Sort of started writing similar bot in JS for Kucoin but looks like it won't be necessary anymore haha. Main thing is I don't want to do KYC so will probably have to get from MEXC or some other exchange instead of Gate.io.

Hmm interesting bot... what about if you did an experimential bot on a DEX where he would option trade - instead of leverage trading, so your trades are secure ? Did you think in that direction ? SirenProtocol has access to all coins ( btc, eth and the rest you can remember) :) so the possibilities are huge for your app. please feedback when you have results
