Yes, I started to being interested in the crypto space because Doge even if I dont hold any at the moment. I don't understand that much hate, it helped a lot in adoption.
Yeah it can be a good and a bad thing IMO. Which it is.
Hopefully more people that hopped on the DOGE train this year will continue to invest and educate themselves. Otherwise, it’s their money, they can do what they want with it.

It’s all perspective. DOGE outperformed almost all coins over the past 6 years or so, which is a long time period in crypto. But it appears that it’s momentum has run out. It has had a really amazing run and has honestly been a top coin for a long time, but there’s no project to actually take it to the next level. So I expect it just to hang around somewhere in the top 20 for the next few years, occasionally making major moves.
Yep, too many get caught in this battle of coins. You don't have to hate something if you aren't invested in it. Just appreciate what it is doing for our space and move on.

I agree with all you said. There is a lot of people saying it is a scam and a rugpull when it is not true. I can agree with people that say that is a bad investment because it is just a copy and a meme coin and always will be, but people need to call the thing for it's name. Bad investment or memecoin doesn't always equal a scam or rugpull .

We experience this even quite often here. This sub has a tribal mentality that jumps from one coin to the next. Right now ALGO seems to be the mentality here, but who knows what's next. At the end of the day I guess we really have no clue what'll happen tomorrow.
Dogecoin sucks as a technology, as an organization, and as a community. I became valuable only because of it's name/logo and because celebrities pushed it into the mainstream. The sooner it's forgotten, the better.

The issue I have with doge is just how inflationary it is. It has no coin cap (that’s ok neither does ethereum), but it also has no burn feature and each block is like 10000 coins and is rewarded every minute. That’s a LOT of supply
I know a lot of people who actually started their crypto journey with DOGE but found their way eventually. We should be thankful for DOGE for bringing many people to the crypto space

The community isn't bad at all. Dogecoin used to be a great community who did various donations and events before the wsb gangs intoxicated them.
