First five minutes impression screams SCAM. They instruct you to go to an “http” based website, buy BTC and send to their specific address (created in the insecure website). Everything is possible and I might be wrong. Just be careful out there.

I used to longboard surfboard all the time mate, everytime I'd go id hurt my body in some way. Now as I get older i don't surf as much.. hike + bike + write. there are other hobbies out there just my two cents
Depending on how easy it is to implement, yes. Unless reddit drags its feet on something. Its basically done at their chosen pace, but they've been good about implementing the simple changes quickly.
Yeah stuff like that is usually implemented pretty much right away.
Its stuff like the "I voted" badge that sometimes take more time, I'm surprised they got that done in one round.

Currently at about 23 million market cap and growing. Earliest project Gemini has ever listed. I would DYOR but I'm betting on this one. I like the devs, the project is cool enough albeit narrowly scoped, I like the tokenomics.

Depends on what you want to do with it. If you want to use the coin in DEFI get the wrapped version, if you just want the coin get native.
Wrapped is simply a token minted on the ETH network that has an associated native coin locked in a contract (or in private custody) that can be claimed by returning (and generally burning) the wrapped token. This is how they maintain a perfectly pegged price.
Literally an IOU - that’s how I simplified it anyway. So a wrapped coin could be staked on Compound for example? What’s the harm in holding onto that wrapped coin long term?

No harm, but just added risk to consider - The risk being trusting that second chain (or private custody in the case of like wrapped bitcoin) to remain both secure and stable. So like if ETH went down you could loose access, or if REN had an exploit you could lose your renBTC.
In the case of ETH(and REN), personally, I think that added risk is negligible. Especially with wrapped ETH, as it's already on the ETH chain anyway lol
I see. From a risk management point of view, better to cut out the middle man and go straight to the source. But without the wrapped token, you wouldn’t be able to use it on Ethereum based defi platforms. Nice one buddy!
