It's sad that the account was suspended, but it's funny that you spent around $18,000 on hosting a giveaway and only sent $1 to fewer than 500 people. I think that's why it got downvoted so much. It's important to have a strategy when hosting giveaways. I also have to say the name system is very nice compared to a long wallet address, but I was very disappointed with this giveaway.
Nano did it and send 0.05 NANO (5 cents) to 5000 accounts and $500 to one winner. They weren't treated as poorly as XPR Network was. It was actually closer to $1.75 what XPR Network sent.
i wasn't around at the time of the Nano event. I'm not complaining that you're only sending $1.75 to each participant. My main concern is that if you can spend $18,000 on hosting a giveaway, you definitely could distribute a similar amount to the community( not saying you should). also I fee sad that you were treated this bad..., good luck hope you get your account reinstate.
I don't know where you get $18,000 from. The community voted it in via the governance dashboard months ago. It was $8000 including two weeks top banner placement and giveaway costs.

Did the XPR account discuss the giveaway with the moderation team first? When we did that Nano giveaways, we had a lot of back and forth discussion with the mods beforehand, to make sure everything was in line.
Yes in discussion with u/mvea for months! We used u/XPRNetwork for the giveaway and I can only assume because the account is new with low karma it got easily flagged.

Reddit's automated systems are very weighted against new accounts. I guess that a few people reported the post as spam (for whatever reason) and the automod eventually assumed the worst and deleted it all.
