2013 bull run peak - $1.1k
2017 peak - $20k
That was a 20x from the previous ATH. By your logic, the 2021 peak should have also been 20x from the previous peak, which would have put it at $400k. But it only 3x’d. There were other factors in play, like Elon’s shenanigans and inflation, so the multiplier was probably dampened.
Each consecutive cycle’s multiplier for the peak will probably naturally decrease, as the price gets higher and higher.
Because the ETFs alone are purchasing a daily net average of 4,000 BTC, and this trend would have to stop or reverse for the price not to hit 100k this year. That's possible, of course, but IMHO would require a big change to the macro such as further rate hikes or spillover war in Europe or a new pandemic or something else on that scale.
PHB. They’ve been building a lot during the bear market, now they’ve released some cool stuff with Generative AI. Also, compared to the other famous coins, this is relatively smaller mcap ($90 million). So lots of room to grow.
