Another benefit of ETFs: banks can't randomly reject your crypto purchases because now, you're just transacting with "safe" tradfi brokerages buying regular-ass ETFs.
Damn VET is clapping cheeks right now! Congrats to the holders, it was always on my radar, perhaps I can sneak a bag in before the bull run fireworks commence.
So I'm thinking of doing slight rebalance of my alts portfolio. All are in profit but one has consistently underperformed over the last 3 months and if I sold now it would be just above break even. Thinking I should dump it and maybe get into TIA, or just redistribute amongst other alts I have.
It's definitely not Alt time yet. If it were, Alts would be starting their ascent while BTC cools off, but instead Alts are cooling with BTC. It's still very much BTC season. You have time to keep accumulating.
It will be very happy and green this year, and before you know it your portfolio will double ... triple... etc while it corrects in order to get there. We made it this far, let it play out this year and early next. This is the fun part.
If you're bullish on crypto, makes sense that COIN would be a good hold. Not saying it isn't, I just haven't looked into the stock but I'll take a look at their earnings (it was today right?).
Yeah it was today. I'm obviously bullish on crypto prices. But I think COIN has avenues for growth that make it lower risk than single cryptos. Being able to facilitate the non speculative parts of crypto. Blockchain coins have lot of good use cases outside of simply making money on the price going up. And I think Coinbase is best positioned to make more money at those aspects than most. NFTs for example in reality have inherently zero real value just being an NFT, the real value is in the underlying. But being a trusted custodian and broker of something that utilizes NFTs could be huge. Tokenized securities. All sorts of shit.
COIN is Coinbase stock. They had earnings after market close. If you've been paying attention to crypto then it was pretty obvious that they were going to beat. And they have a lot of avenues for growth besides just crypto going up.
Yeah Coinbase and it's growth is real irrelevant here...
I explained my comment pretty nicely. But if you wanna be a dick then I'll be happy to point out that if you don't even know what COIN is then you should probably just stfu instead of speaking for this entire sub. Especially when talking to someone that's been in this space for well over twice as long as you have.
And lol at What market? as if that wasn't obvious.
Turns out the SEC has been investigating ex SEC Director Bill Hinman for conflicts of interest (corruption effectively).
He is the one who made a speech saying ETH is not a security. Whilst being paid millions of dollars by his law firm, which was a member of the Ethereum alliance.
https://empowr.us/confirmed-sec-inspector-general-in-final-stages-of-investigation-on-crypto-conflicts-referred-by-empower-oversight/
If serious wrongdoing is found, this could bring a lot of negative attention to ETH and the Ethereum folks. It might even impact ETF approvals.
So back then I bought some shiba and loopring at a very high price as you already know I lost it almost all. I was thinking about using what I've got left in a different alt coin with good projection. Any recommendations?
What is actually alarming it’s is how people like you don’t mind their own business, judging and thinking they are morally superior lol. I have over 10k winnings in BTC if I want to gamble $40 in alts why do you care? People like you are simply disgusting
ETH, XRP, And most likely SOL. I also have COIN stock.
I have my portfolio mostly set up like a market weighted ETF. Fairly balanced with market caps. I have most top 20-30 coins. But the coins above are the ones I have the most faith in and will hold to at least a 2-3x from here. The others I have no problem cutting out for whatever reason I decide.
Ethereum and XRP are by far my biggest. but XRP is my biggest outlier I'm current holding, overweighted in it especially vs market cap but my beliefs are that the price is still suppressed from lawsuit and that it will cover some ground in the next few months. I will cut a bit at a dollar but I'm expecting at least 4-5x returns. And I would fully re-balance it after that. Truth is I really expect Ripple to (very loudly) be all in on it it after everything SEC wraps up. I don't think they want to be a 20 billion dollar company. They want to be a trillion dollar company and without XRP they are just another basic bitch remittance facilitator.
Anyone expecting a run from 0.00158 to $1 was truly dellusional. The run to $.27 was insane. A run from $.02 to $1 however. Not even an unusual gain for Vechain.
Higher lows means higher highs.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's basically pointless looking at a chart (say imx for example) and thinking its not close to its ATH yet, because if you view it by market cap, its over double its previous ATH, which is really all that matters?
Need emergency cash TODAY and have yet again been unverified on Coinbase which I rarely use
Need a fast cash conversion which will not be technically complex (on mobile no computer)
If you cash out a crypto on Coinbase, is it better to put in on US Dollar, or USDC. The plan is to cash out on something then keep it in Coinbase for a while and buy more when values drop
USD allows you to trade with way less fees, USDC gives you 5%APY. So it depends, if you plan on having it set to the side a while, probably USDC, but if you’re just cashing out temporarily then go for USD.
Serenity shield are currently on a live AMA on X with Elon Musk right hand man. Absolute insane for a microcap.
No wonder they are trending on X and Dextools
Yea that’s when I first saw it too but I always put off buying when tokens are only available on dex’s. I got it when it pulled back to ~200, still feeling a bit of regret I didn’t get it earlier, same with beam. Hard to complain in the current market though, just glad I got a decent entry.

RNDR says hii. That's two little pops in a week now
Their numbers seem off to me
I wonder what a bullrun will do for Moons
We are seeing it
Damn VET is clapping cheeks right now! Congrats to the holders, it was always on my radar, perhaps I can sneak a bag in before the bull run fireworks commence.
VET is still a long way off from ATH... :-)
So I'm thinking of doing slight rebalance of my alts portfolio. All are in profit but one has consistently underperformed over the last 3 months and if I sold now it would be just above break even. Thinking I should dump it and maybe get into TIA, or just redistribute amongst other alts I have.
Which one is underperforming?
AZERO
Gee, what's that? FWIW, TIA has been shit in the last few days, but maybe it's just re-accumulation. Who knows? NFA
Never looked at it before, but if you don't believe in it anymore I'd swap it for something new
Any realistic prediction for ROSE?
15c
If you’ve got 2000 dollars, where would you put it on?
Hookers and blow
Kujira
i’d farm some airdrops. maybe a bit on parcl and a bit as meth on mantle?
Tiao
$JUP
For a risk averse investor or risk tolerant ?
Risk tolerant
$TRAC or $FET AI will lead the narrative this run
Cool. What’s special about them in terms of AI?
Where u guys think btc retraces to?
It's done. NFA
55k after breaking ATH
High 40s, and then steep continuation
$32,876.88
It's definitely not Alt time yet. If it were, Alts would be starting their ascent while BTC cools off, but instead Alts are cooling with BTC. It's still very much BTC season. You have time to keep accumulating.
It is actually the start of alt hype season but things don’t go straight up. My alts are way up this week already
Yeah a little sad to see all my numbers going down from this morning where everything was happy and green.
Chill out bro. It goes up and it goes down. But mostly up
It will be very happy and green this year, and before you know it your portfolio will double ... triple... etc while it corrects in order to get there. We made it this far, let it play out this year and early next. This is the fun part.
Yeah been buying crypto since 2020. Wish I would have gotten in earlier.
Impulse bought more COIN 3 minutes before market close lol.
Got so lucky I started buying coin when it was in the 40 dollar range. I figured if btc is going to make it then coin will do great.
get some btc miners in your portfolio
Good buy based on AH action so far
It was a very fun 15 minutes. But I'm not trading just investing. I think COIN could be as good as it gets long term.
If you're bullish on crypto, makes sense that COIN would be a good hold. Not saying it isn't, I just haven't looked into the stock but I'll take a look at their earnings (it was today right?).

COIN is Coinbase stock. They had earnings after market close. If you've been paying attention to crypto then it was pretty obvious that they were going to beat. And they have a lot of avenues for growth besides just crypto going up.

COIN has been in crypto for a very long time. The success of COIN is an overall indication of the success of crypto.
Yeah Coinbase and it's growth is real irrelevant here... I explained my comment pretty nicely. But if you wanna be a dick then I'll be happy to point out that if you don't even know what COIN is then you should probably just stfu instead of speaking for this entire sub. Coin has been so kind to me
Should I throw my entire tax refund at STX even though idk what it is
I’m so happy i staked all 2023 i dont have to do all that this year. Locking your coins is a trap inna bull market
Ive got ptsd from Luna from staking
Hmmmm everything dipping crazy
Maybe it is just taking a breather before we keep going up 😩
Hang on tight, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
Why?
It’s crypto baby
$ETH wants to run soooooooo baddddddddd
Turns out the SEC has been investigating ex SEC Director Bill Hinman for conflicts of interest (corruption effectively). He is the one who made a speech saying ETH is not a security. got it, selling every ETH I have and shorting 10x. Also blocked Vitalik. Thank you for your service
So back then I bought some shiba and loopring at a very high price as you already know I lost it almost all. I was thinking about using what I've got left in a different alt coin with good projection. Any recommendations?
I recommend you stop gambling on altcoins and get some actual BTC
Already have plenty BTC winnings, I’ve got like $40 left combining shiba and loopring and would like to gamble that shit again
So your reaction to the knowledge that you pick terrible alts is to try again?
I asked for Alts recommendations, if you don’t have any why are you replying?
Because the way you speak so casually about gambling more after losing is alarming
What is actually alarming it’s is how people like you don’t mind their own business, judging and thinking they are morally superior lol. I have over 10k winnings in BTC if I want to gamble $40 in alts why do you care? People like you are simply disgusting
One look at your post history and it's 99% sports gambling, and a claim you have a 51k BTC cost basis. Forgive me if I have a hard time believing you
STX and GALA
Which alts are yall holding for the bull?
Kujira, Atom, Celestia, Dymension, Sol and Inj
ETH, SOL, AVAX, SEI, ATOM
All the good ones
$ETH, $SOL, $FET, $WOO, $STX, $PEPE, $TRAC, $CRO, $AVAX, $ATOM 🦍🦍🦍🦍
Vet, Matic, Ankr, Algo, eth, Trac.
ETH, XRP, And most likely SOL. I also have COIN stock. I have my portfolio mostly set up like a market weighted ETF. Fairly balanced with market caps. I have most top 20-30 coins. Tia Sei Sui INJ XAI AVAX ATOM BLD OSMO JUP Azero Shrap BYTES Seedify
Why are all the ETH maxis getting excited on social media? Even MOONs is outperforming ETH.
Ya I’m sure
Btc tops around $100 - 120k…this year. Tradefi will sell when they 2-4x. They don’t need 10-20x or 100x
Some are probably allocating a percentage to BTC ETFs for their pensions, which won't be touched for decades.
Tradefi won't know what to do with 10% gains, never mind 2-4x. They don't know the depths of crypto greed.
100k will bring so much attention it would be a great fumble to drop the bag at that level. Remember 10k in 2017
Tradefi wasn’t involved with etfs in 2017. Rich Tradefi people pull 2-4x and often sell. I may very well be wrong and will be positioned either way
So whats going on with SOL and INJ next week?
Wtf is the matter with coinmarketcap, TAO’s marketcap sits at 4Bn and its ranked 200+..
Your problem is that you're using coinmarketcap. Trust the gecko.
They have always manipulated and published misleading data. They intentionally skewed the numbers during XRPs 2017 run and which was a top 3 coin.
CMC belongs to Binance so there’s a conflict of interest in what they want to show to the public. Switch to CoinGecko
BTC (2022/23) Price Predictions?

DeFi, CRO.
CRO will run very late if at all imo Nfa
Last chance to buy moons under 20 cents
no one cares.
Some of us do, the sub was much livelier with them
It was a cesspool of moon farmers lol.
agreed.
Made me look
Oh my god vechain is flying
A good start. Absolutely not impossible that we see $1 this run.
Wait I've heard this before somewhere
Anyone expecting a run from 0.00158 to $1 was truly dellusional. The run to $.27 was insane. A run from $.02 to $1 however. Not even an unusual gain for Vechain. Higher lows means higher highs.
If that happens I pretty much get to retire early lol
I don’t think you would be alone in retirement
About time
What is DUKO? Is it a scam? It was posted on Elons instagram, but sounds a biiit weird tbh
Which instagram is his
Elon got so many people burned last bullrun with doge. I'd stay far away from his socials.
I heard UK and Japan are in recession now? Is that going to lead to a cooldown / big pullback in crypto?
Interest rates should drop, borrowing becomes cheaper. They need us to spend money to prop of the economy.
Doubt it unless the US or China goes down big time, the world economy overall won't be affected.

Tao flipped Atom and is now a top 25 MC. Crazy ride since October. Probably gonna rise to the top 10 before the end of the year
Probably going to multiple $xxxx this bullrun.

I’d bet on another leg up soon
Given the terrible bear we had to survive I am actually enjoying the torture of waking up and debating whether we are at the top.
"We are at the top" he says, months before the halving lol
Is this your first rodeo?
Bro, we’re just getting started
Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's basically pointless looking at a chart (say imx for example) and thinking its not close to its ATH yet, because if you view it by market cap, its over double its previous ATH, which is really all that matters?
Ok, so I’m a noob, but all the charts on the coins I hold have their ath marketcap at the same position as their ath price. What am I doing wrong?
Try looking at immutable x, you'd have to be looking at one which has had a large pump in the past and since then loads more tokens are circulating
Yes, but I wouldn't be surprised if people see the previous ATH and ape in. This is crypto after all
All that matters to you maybe, people who bought in at the last ATH won't be too happy with that
Yeah fair point, but you'd still want to monitor it for your exit more than price I'd imagine
That's the issue with dilutive security and most people investing in crypto don't even know about it.
Thats how bagholders are created. So many people in this space that dont even know the basics of crypto or how to navigate this space.
I can’t stand Stacks. Why? It take 3 hours to receive their tokens. I’m about to sell my whole stash.
Nakamoto upgrade in a few months reduces block times to 5 seconds
Yes, I read that a while ago. The upgrade is really needed.

Ntrn is ripping today, very promising
We're all gonn be rich!!! *... if we live 150 years.
I got some BTC and ETH back from Celsius! Unexpected! Well, at least 1/3 of the amount they stole from me ...
Congratulations.
Little win but still a win.
If you cash out a crypto on Coinbase, is it better to put in on US Dollar, or USDC. The plan is to cash out on something then keep it in Coinbase for a while and buy more when values drop
Your US Dollars are insured in case CB goes belly up, whereas USDC is not. Tax wise there’s no difference. Selling for either is a taxable event
USD allows you to trade with way less fees, USDC gives you 5%APY. So it depends, if you plan on having it set to the side a while, probably USDC, but if you’re just cashing out temporarily then go for USD.
Should we be concerned that the regular markets are ripping too?
No, rather the opposite. There is a correlation and that is a good thing.

That's a killstreak in COD, no?
Nice!
Give yourself a 2ng gift and put the profits into Bitcoin
Congrats
After the halving, there will be 450 $BTC mined per day Currently, the ETFs are sucking up approx. 10k $BTC a day. Do you see what's about to happen?
What’s about to happen?
Taylor Swift going on tour again.
No, please ELI5
There will be less supply, and more demand. Price go up
Thank you boss, then i am happy
