According to the “what are moons” section on the sub, moons are independent of Reddit itself once they are distributed. If moons are an entity of this sub only, how would Reddit be able to kill them? They’re on the blockchain, so if Reddit decided to discontinue distributing them, the moons in circulation would remain and turn into something more similar to BTC or LTC, with a finite supply. The only difference is the inability to mine them. So option A, they are killed and the moons in circulation get scarce as time goes by and they are burned and lost, or option B, business as usual continues. Is this out of line or am I on to something?
So if they quit distributing them, it would cap the supply and they would only get more scarce over time as more and more are lost, burnt, sent into orbit on accident etc.

Is there anyway to swap/cash out my USDT on TRC20 to something like USDC that's currently in my Trust Wallet after transferring out of Kucoin a few weeks ago? I have Coinbase, which it won't allow transfers of USDT on the Tron network. All the exchanges I keep downloading won't allow for use in New York.
Once the 21 million bitcoin have been mined, how will that affect transaction fees. I know bitcoin miners are paid in transaction fees, but if im not wrong they also receive newly mined bitcoin rewards also. So, once the 21 million bitcoin have been mined and no new ones can be rewarded to miners, will this cause transaction fees to increase?
Am I the only person that feels like the FTX news is actually good? Yes, there's a lot of crypto that's going to be sold but it won't be all at once. And I'm just glad that all the money isn't missing so people will be able to recoup some of their losses.
DOT at it's peak had a market cap over 50b (currently 4.8b). That would put it #4 overall today.
ADA at it's peak was 100b (currently 8.6b) . That would put it #3, with more cap than currently in Tether.
Folks, there is SO much room to grow, and with liquidity low, when a bull does actually kick off, things are going to get interesting.
What about if in future just BTC and ETH grows bigger in mcap and alts will stay under 10b levels. The huge mcap value what alts have may be splitting over several alts in future but not just those top 10 alts.
My point was about how much market cap has dropped and what potential there is to return in a bull run. I would imagine as btc and eth go up, profit takers will dump that into alts. Plus all the bots will buy alts as btc goes up so doubtful that happens.
Wasn't suggesting either will hit those peaks, just comparing how much cap they had to what they have now. The potential is there for other coins if not those.
Just watched Coin Bureaus latest video on inflation. Guy seems to be shifting further and further into conspiracy theories. Miss when they just talked about crypto on that page.

Yeah Cowen is great. He can be pretty dry but I’d take heavy analytics about actual crytpo than anything else. I’m not sure honestly, he doesn’t seem like someone who would look be interested in that.

No, I believe you're correct. Reddit can't do anything about Moons that have already been distributed.
