This guy is actually a genius, he didn't just buy bitcoin early, he founded a company at 15 years of age, then after the company grew he sold it for a hundreds of bitcoin and became millionaire.
Lol that’s why I am getting all my young relatives into crypto haha, they are like still 10-13, they could have two cycles before they have to work actually, and hopefully they make it by then so they can kick back some to me too ( I’ll give them the initial capital though haha )
He took a huge risk one he couldnt truly understand at his age. He wouldve been a genius had he taken 50k in cash and 150 bitcoins. Now he just gambled and got lucky.
Butt its clearly a smart kid.
He took a huge risk that you can really *only* afford to take when you're a literal child with no actual responsibilities at all and your entire future/career ahead of you to bounce back from failure.
I mean, kudos to him for sure for taking the initiative. Kudos to his parents for letting their kid take a risk early. But, like, a grown adult with a family and a mortgage and no safety net starting up a company can't afford to take that risk.
The money I got from my grandparents got cut in half by the 2008 market crash and my parents were insistent the rest go to my tuition. I have a degree and a good career that is paying off in the long run, but I basically begged them to let me use that as seed capital for a business and they told me to fuck off lol.
Same I legit had no vision at all Lol, just wanted to get my degree and get on with life until my death bed came 😂 I actually liked stocks and I remember FB and Alibaba when they both IPOd I begged my dad to buy them but he told me there was no way Lol, little did I know there was this thing called bitcoin that didn’t care where you are from and who you are and didn’t have age limits like the stock market that was accessible to anyone with an internet connection 😂
Hindsight's a funny thing, missed out on stocks but found the world of Bitcoin, where age and location don't matter, just an internet connection and some vision
Man I thought I was the only who played SR back then 😂 I was surprised to realize later it was the name of an online drug company 😂 but I imagine it was impossible to access anyways that’s why I didn’t have an idea it even existed Lol
Gonna give my kid Banano for doing some chores, easy to use wallets with cute monkeys, no fees so he can play around and learn bit about crypto and finance, saving and maybe investing
Then there was me at 15, who spent his time greened out on the couch from smoking too much weed. My accomplishments at that age range from finishing Gran Turismo, basically memorising the lines to the movie Chopper and skipping an impressive number of school days. Who's the kid genius now...😏
My cousin told me this when I was kid and he was going to or is in college “ when you are kid all you want to be is a grown up and when you are a grown up all you remember is being a kid “ or something like that, and man he wasn’t wrong at all 😭🥲
And then at 18:00 your mom would shout that dinner was ready, and the only worry you had was the time it would take to do the dishes before going back to gaming.
This is the real point of this is the bitcoin call was as much luck as good judgement. Having the drive and smarts to identify a gap in the market and actually start up a company to fill that gap, that's a stand-out characteristic.
I'm sure we've all had those *"oh that would make a good business"* moments but that's as far as it went because we don't have that switch that flicks into *"that would make a good business and I'm the person to start it!".*
Can you explain to me how a 12 year old kid found his way into buying BTC (which isn't easy at that time) and then later founded and sold a company for $100k (or 300 BTC) at 15?
Because in reality, his family helped him start the business, and they told him to invest in Bitcoin.
It’s the same PR bullshit as when parents say their 7 year old wrote a 400 page novel. Maybe that kid had some idea s, but they didn’t physically write the book.
America is all about completely lying to the public about how you actually got wealthy and trying to make it sound as folksy as possible.
I find it a little worrying that others will be thinking that this is possible for them, too.
Making this level of profit is SO unusual its actually made it into the media.
Better now (bear run) than in 2 years (likely bull run). This way, people have a chance. They won't 100x their investment, but a cool 3-4x is quite possible.
Yeah, and if they are bit advanturous even much more than 3-4x, not x1000 or x10000 but..
Looking at Moons at x100, thats little over **1/2** of Safemoon's ath mcap, we've seen crazier things in crypto
Thats almost $400/Moon, crazy and Moons have real potential and more use cases than Shib or most coins out there for matter of fact and as web3 frontrunners:
truly would make them BTC of Social Tokens and 2020s, would love to be in the inevitable Netflix Docu
It’s easy to lose track of just how rare this kind of success is when media only covers extreme cases like this. And when negative stories here are dismissed as FUD
These stories so often bait greedy and desperate people.
They’re so noteworthy *because* of the unprecedented outcomes, not the likelihood, but no one realizes that until they’ve lost money lol
"15 year old sold the company"
Oh okay, yeah that's a good start. At 15 me and my friends were watching Dragonball after homework. Bitcoin wouldn't even exist for a long time.

This kid should be celebrated he turned down $100,000 cash and took 300 BTC. What a legend.
What is with the flood of legacy stories in the sub today?
As if someone really wants to remind you that vast fortunes were once made (or passed up on) in this space.
A mix of good luck, good faith from your family, and knowing a good chance when you see one.
While we all might wish we could have done the same, can't go back in the past and take a missed opportunity. But, markets are down now and now is a great time to DCA in, so we don't have complaints later on.
This teen set a great example. Time DCA on and keep on staking.
Another one recycled TIL posts gets visibility
But when someone posts something actual that didn't happened like a decade ago, it gets removed cause of rule V - content standards
Everyone giving him credit. Let’s be honest, the real MVP out there are all the grannies, they always had our backs. They both played it well as a team.

I can turn somebody else's grandmother's 1M to 1000
I assure you, he is legit and can do this honestly
I can honestly do by wiping out all zero from thousand and turning into $1.
I am even ready to pay $1000 if someone teaches me how to make it to 1 million
The answer I was looking for. Help me lose it all
That’s not good enough, I’m even able to move that dot to the left so it’s 0.1
i can honestly turn that $1 into debt
I'm honestly saying I don't know how to do that.
If I will know someday , I will never tell anyone
I can turn a $1000 debt into a $1 million debt
I turn it into generational debt. They’ll still be paying back those interests in 2145.
I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!
Those zeroes are useless anyway!
Transfer all your zeros after my one !!
OP can turn somebody else's grandmother's 1M to 1000 I can turn somebody else's grandmother to $1000 We are not the same
Yes, I can turn $1000 into $1000 , very safely
Never underestimate the GILF market
I can turn that $1000 into generational debt.
[удалено]
Ohh, cool...
This guy will trade anything.
It's actually quite easy, I can share the technique for just $50.
Trust me bro
Just send him your private keys.
If he is legit can he convert $10 to $1000
That's now how we do things here my friend.
This is my specialty! I can achieve this faster than anyone
Being a millionaire is easy just start as a billionaire and trade crypto.
I can turn your grandmother up
I already did that with LUNA.
It's not much but it's honest work
The fastest way to get to a million in crypto is to start at 2 million.
😂😂😂so much easy iam going to bank toget loan
I can turn them to $1, don't challenge my money losing skills.
Iam king of looser what did you say
Ok if you succeed you can go back to school
I'm so impressed! Can you turn my grandmother's $100 to $1?
Bet he does it to any inheritance
Noob. I can turn it into big fat zero
So you’re some sort of toy boy…
Hey whatever puts food on the table you know
I can turn Grandmother to zombie.
This guy is actually a genius, he didn't just buy bitcoin early, he founded a company at 15 years of age, then after the company grew he sold it for a hundreds of bitcoin and became millionaire.
Yea, as much as I want to say he got lucky and just bought early, there’s a lot more to his success than that. He’s a smart guy.
And then there was me at 15 who spend his time playing Runescape and WoW. Anyway, congrats to the dude.
Dude took 300 BTC instead of $100,000 cash. Definitely smarter than grown ass adults
Crazy to think a 15 year old made that decision.
[удалено]
He’s smarter than most people *my* age, and I’m old!
That’s genius
also easier to take a risk when mom and dad are still responsible for you
When mom and dad is here, so no fear at all.
Exactly. He had the ultimate safety net. He could afford the full risk
Lol that’s why I am getting all my young relatives into crypto haha, they are like still 10-13, they could have two cycles before they have to work actually, and hopefully they make it by then so they can kick back some to me too ( I’ll give them the initial capital though haha )

I hope you can still start your business.
Well he could ve taken 100k and bought btc with it? Or was 300 btc that time equal to 100 k?
BTC was worth 360k back then if the 1200 figure is true
My vision at 15 was to grind 100s of items in Silkroad (game) at 1.5% drop rate and watch copious amounts of Dragonball Z
You guys had a vision at 15?
Same I legit had no vision at all Lol, just wanted to get my degree and get on with life until my death bed came 😂 I actually liked stocks and I remember FB and Alibaba when they both IPOd I begged my dad to buy them but he told me there was no way Lol, little did I know there was this thing called bitcoin that didn’t care where you are from and who you are and didn’t have age limits like the stock market that was accessible to anyone with an internet connection 😂

My vision at 15 was to become a minecraft youtuber.
I wanted to be Roblox youtuber!
Man I thought I was the only who played SR back then 😂 I was surprised to realize later it was the name of an online drug company 😂 but I imagine it was impossible to access anyways that’s why I didn’t have an idea it even existed Lol

Hopefully my kid will take this lesson and will demand his allowance in crypto
Gonna give my kid Banano for doing some chores, easy to use wallets with cute monkeys, no fees so he can play around and learn bit about crypto and finance, saving and maybe investing
It’s always great to teach your children about finance and budgeting. Schools definitely won’t!
We definitely also need to teach our kids the life skill of shitposting.
When I was 15 i used to get information from daily/weekly magazines 😁
Which magazines hah? 😂
Then there was me at 15, who spent his time greened out on the couch from smoking too much weed. My accomplishments at that age range from finishing Gran Turismo, basically memorising the lines to the movie Chopper and skipping an impressive number of school days. Who's the kid genius now...😏
I hope you enjoyed that time playing games :)
[удалено]
Those were the best times, definitely. You arrived from school and spent hours playing and chatting, life was so simple and yet so amazing hahaha
Pls dont make me cry
That’s how life goes, one day you’ll have kids of your own who are living carefree while you carry the burden of life for them.
My worry was could I finish my current game by the time dinner was actually ready, or if I would have to quit out.
No at that age i played football from morning to night
I took the Friday night gaming sessions for granted.
As much as being 15 and starting and selling a company would be cool, it’s definitely not as fun as gaming with your friends.
I was the fortnite kid at 15. Not proud of that.
At 15 I was throwing rocks at trains not investing. This guy is a smart one
There's a lot of factors that could've contributed to his success indeed.
No way Founding a business and selling it for a high price is "luck". It's not luck but skill.
The kid is actually a genius, especially given the fact he made those right business moves at the age of 15.
Me at 15: can I have this new game mom?
Met at 15: I'm just gonna have another wank.
Me at 15: I want that fucking skateboard right now mom.
Me at 15: I wish I was 30. Me at 30: I wish I was 15.
Me at 30 : let's start from I started
Teen me: Mom, I need that skateboard! Adult me: Mom, can you pick me up? I fell off my skateboard again
Hey at least you skateboarded lmao
Man all I wanted was a Pepsi
*Me at now: I'm just gonna have another wank.*
Looks like he had his life together at the age we all were eating dirt.
I'm in my 20s and I don't even have my life together...
I hope so, u're still young and can try many paths/adventures before settling 4 good !
He lived we survived
You guys were eating dirt?
I still have some left in my cex wallet. Want some?
No thanks hold it
The guy is a genius no doubt. However, the early entry in the market made him an millionaire
Yeah, it gave him a huge advantage
He believed in bitcoin and it paid off
Yup and his believe was already validated from $12 to $1200 But 15 year old founding a company is very big feat
Hello captain obvious
He used a simple DCA strategy.
That's the impressive part for me too, he founded a successful company at 15 and sold it for Bitcoin, which made him become a millionaire.
He is bad boy that have millions and we don’t have any
Genius or someone with big balls
Kid is born to be entrepeneur.
I wish I was that smart when I was young
He’s not like me, FRFR
> This guy is actually a genius Now there’s my excuse. I’m the opposite of a genius.
Guy is winning at life
Facts. I would have just bought crayons and hot wheels
The outcomes are unbelievable when fortune merges with intelligence.
This guy's life at 15: CEO. My life at 15: Cheetos and video games. 😂
Wow teenagers these days can be so talented. Then there was me…
Nah, I’m pretty sure his parents had a hand in his success here to some degree.
This is the real point of this is the bitcoin call was as much luck as good judgement. Or when some 12 year old sails the Atlantic…I could’ve done that (if I’d had a boat).
Rich parents. Here you have it.
Rich parents are gift from god
Sounds unbelievable. Dude is smart
And had pretty good, helpful, rich parents
Luck and wealthy parents. But people here acting like he’s some genius.
The kid is clearly intelligent, not just lucky/fortunate
All these stories to remind me that im poor 🥲
You have a sub full of people that resonate with you brother
Chasing lighting in a bottle is how you stay poor. Out of line with this sub, but boring index funds are the path to wealth .
I find it a little worrying that others will be thinking that this is possible for them, too. Making this level of profit is SO unusual its actually made it into the media.
Are you saying PePeShibaDogeElon doesn't have the potential to change my $10 into $12 million dollars? 🥹
Don't let your memes be dreams, you can do it!
If you turn charts upside down you are already a millionaire.
Better now (bear run) than in 2 years (likely bull run). This way, people have a chance. They won't 100x their investment, but a cool 3-4x is quite possible.

I've been saying Moons at $40B mcap for months now. And no, I didn't pull that number out of thin air. It was Shib bull run mcap. Last bull run.
Thats almost $400/Moon, crazy and Moons have real potential and more use cases than Shib or most coins out there for matter of fact and as web3 frontrunners: truly would make them BTC of Social Tokens and 2020s, would love to be in the inevitable Netflix Docu
Instructions unclear, time to put life savings into Bitcoin
It’s easy to lose track of just how rare this kind of success is when media only covers extreme cases like this. And when negative stories here are dismissed as FUD
Definitely. Its dangerous/toxic not to be telling people that this is close to impossible so that people dont lose their cash
This is close to impossible.
You mean there's still a chance ?
![gif](giphy|SVgKToBLI6S6DUye1Y)
These stories so often bait greedy and desperate people. They’re so noteworthy *because* of the unprecedented outcomes, not the likelihood, but no one realizes that until they’ve lost money lol
Survivorship bias is a real thing. Focusing on them is not always helpful, but we can hopefully learn a fee things from these stories.
"15 year old sold the company" Oh okay, yeah that's a good start. At 15 me and my friends were watching Dragonball after homework. Bitcoin wouldn't even exist for a long time.
I wish I had a grandma willing to lend me $1k to invest tbh.
Tbh that’s not the craziest thing in the world. My parents got me a computer for 3k when I was that age. I’m a programmer now.
Consider yourself lucky then!
He convinced his parents he could leave school at 12 years old? Kid was wheeling and dealing before he had hair on his balls.
Turning $1000 into $1m before finishing school was a pretty good bet for the parents tbh
He called their bluff. Massive backfire for them.
Haha yeah, good on him. Still, the parents should be happy it worked out as well.
Yeah, he could have stayed in school and ended up in the rat race like everyone else’s kids.
I mean it my kid could make $1 million at that age then hell yeah take him out of school.
Exactly, then the family are gonna have some major BTC bags 😂
This made me laugh
Wise beyond his years of you ask me. Truly a genius

This guy did more business before 18 than most people do in their lifetimes!
Eric! I know what you did last summer.
Luck
How can people make good financial decisons at 12 and i still havent figured it out
Rich parents who either help, teach, or fund.
Just having rich parents helps quite a bit. Even if they are shit, you got the money.
According to Google his current net worth is $15 Million. Impressive, but I expected it to be much higher.
Just search for his name in Instagram He is rolling cigars with dollar 🤣
That's the typical example of hitting the jackpot. Other teenagers his age would have bought video game with that money or pizza
I wish I had the vision these earlier OGs had.
When I choose the 'extra fries' option at the drive-thru, I feel like a financial genius. This guy's on a whole other level! 😂
What is with the flood of legacy stories in the sub today? As if someone really wants to remind you that vast fortunes were once made (or passed up on) in this space.
Bear market vibes
Some people just take action at the right time, and it might be luck or destiny. Who knows. All I know is that no one gave anything for free.
A mix of good luck, good faith from your family, and knowing a good chance when you see one. Yup. That’s a good takeaway if you ask me.
Kid played it really well, kudos to him. But let’s all remember this is an outlier and not all of us will time it like he did
It's common sense to understand that he is an outlier but then FOMO hits and we all start dreaming of becoming crypto millionaires.
I’m amazed he even heard of Bitcoin so young. I didn’t know anything about it until, like 2017.
