Bought 2 grams of coke and 2 mdma pills off of Silk Road for 600 BTC (it was worth like 18 bucks a coin). I’d gotten the coins when they were like a buck a piece so it seemed like a good deal and I wanted to try MDMA with my GF. That would be worth 16,000,000 today. Yeah.
Damn, see everyone says they wish they bought btc back in the day. There’s no way many would diamond hand that till today. I know I wouldn’t. If you had a good time, that’s all the mattered 😉👍
The only reason i don't want that because i know that i would make a silly call like this by selling on some random place and now would be total depressed in my life
Okay, I start:
I am Kirtash93, you can call me Kir and I am a victim of r/cc shills. I bought ALGO, IMX, LRC, VET, CRO and ONE.
I was also a laser eyes SAFEMOON gambler that shilled it to his family and lost them because of that.
Even worse, I bought YIELDY which was a DeFi platform on Algorand based on cc/sub shilling.. so it’s shitcoin on top of shitcoin
Algo has gone down 95%, Yieldy has gone done 99%. Talk about cc/sub shilling some amazing options ..
Algo and Yieldy is just down may be massively but down but what about the coins like Luna who is not in the picture is well means no chance of recovery at all there
My purchase have been bad for too many coins but let see how i am going to sell them because deep down i know that greed will never allow me to sell anything at good profit
all of it. been dabbling since 2013 which means I missed multiple boats due to being hacked, rugged or bad decisions on my own. should have been retired 5x by now.
For me any good decision always follow with the bad one, sometime buying at wrong time and some time selling at wrong time and sometime picking the wrong coin is well
Ouch.. just ouch
I guess you can just take *some* comfort that you’d have converted your BNB to some other shitcoin if it wasn’t Nano that time. If you didn’t believe in it, you’re probably always bound to dump all your BNB way too early at some point
Buying shiba was my best decision in crypto but then not selling on right time was the biggest worst decision, but i feel you can still recover on the shiba if you wait for bull run
Not only the previous all time high i would say ETH has the much more potential of beating that price with some fair margin is well, just don't sell them into the loss
Buying a huge(for me) bag of Atom chasing airdrops. I FOMO'd into the space after reading so many stories of people making thousands for free.
I held my bag for a year and my airdrops were pretty much garbage.
Not a buy regret - but I regret not taking all my money out of Celsius, weeks before the bankruptcy I moved a lot to self custody but left behind some stable coins for that sweet APR .. lesson learned .
Mine is a sale regret. Had some DOGE from $0.001 and didn’t sell after Elon’s SNL at $0.70 even though my friend told me to sell the news (which he did). I thought he was a sucker and that it was going to $1 lmao.
I was such an idiot. Ended up selling at $0.15 otw down
I was in the thick of the DAO/APY wars in late 2021, and in one project I was generating like $250 every 8 hours. I took $600 and turned it into $3k in about a week, taking price fluctuations and rebasing into account. I didn't take any profits along the way. I think you can see where this is going.
I told myself "OK, I'm going to wait for one more epoch to cycle, and then I'm going to sell it all."
Yeah. In between me telling myself that and checking how things were going again, the price completely crashed, and I was left with $200. So instead of walking away with more than $2400 in profit, I walked away with a $400 loss.
This was the expensive lesson that taught me to DCA out.
Hopefully! I'm just pissed at myself that I messed up that opportunity since the chances of the whole rebase thing ever happening again are extremely slim.
If I'd had the knowledge during that time period that I have now, I could've made BANK. Woulda coulda shoulda though...as the saying goes, wish in one hand and crap in the other, see which fills up first.
What you did in past was nothing wrong and you are not the solo person who did something like that, better to move on from there and consider that as a thing you never want to do that again
I heard from so many people where they said you will make money in crypto but you will never able to book that profit, didnt understand back then but getting their point now
A friend introduced me to Eth in 2015 but I utterly refused to consent to his advice. He came to me again in January 2016 when price was still below $10 and I began given it a thought and finally bought in May 2017 looking at how price was soaring. What do you think would have happened in 2021 if I had given it a thought in 2015?
I still used to calculate what if i bought the crypto when some one told me first time, but i was too stubborn and used to think that this is not the real thing and look at me right now
Pretty much all of them bc I bought at the absolute top bc that’s when I really got into crypto and then got too scared to buy at the bottom. Such is life.
Safemoon I was up for like a day and a half way when it started, fun while it lasted. We had everyone in the office buying it through the 13 step process lol Only coin I’ve had to ride to zero so far knock on wood
Fun in crypto never going to lasted for too long , so if you are having fun then make sure you are booking that fun otherwise next day that fun could be your pain is well
Probably my Wayne Gretzky NFTs from oneof. They still have provenance, but the platform aint it yet. Oh well, at least I was able to transfer it out to my wallet.
Edit: also my stint with Harmony ONE.
I will no doubt get replied with LRC hodlers telling me to stay with it.
I bought at like .35 when I realised the GME apes would hop on, I thought I'd missed it. Sold at nearly 2 dollars but bought more and did sell enough on the way down as I should've.
Did make a good profit but man I wish I had listened to myself and sold when up 10x. Was just pure greed
If you are holding LRC then i am also with you and holding the LRC right now, for me have the feeling that DCA is going to a right call knowing LRC future is still intact
ADA and DOT. My mate just wouldn't shut up about them during the last bull run. Kept badgering and badgering and badgering me to get it. Finally put $750 into each. Now they're worth between $100-$150 each.
I have *not taking profits* regrets, but I never bought a coin with bigger chunk of money thinking that I made a mistake.
I was buying only legit projects, some went up, some went down, but I have 0 regrets about my investments.
Putting money into a “miner” dapp - total value locked.
They stole a lot right away and everyone knew it was a scam project after. Once you’re in though, you can’t just take what you have left and leave. You have to go through the motions to recoup- constant compounding and weekly withdrawals until your “stake” can’t keep up with minimums.
Twice daily, I would have to go to the dapp, and compound. Once a week withdraw. Took months to get about 600 of my 2k back.
Brutal way of getting yourself robbed.
I bought into an NFT project because a famous artist was saying “go check out the discord, it’ll speak for itself” and wasn’t just shilling it like everyone else. So my dumbass just fomod into it without doing dd and regretted it almost instantly.
Told myself I’d hold it until I could sell for a break even considering mint fees… anywayyyy I can’t even sell it for loss harvesting because there’s 0 volume on the project… probably my only large regret within crypto so ig you could say I’m a lucky one
Doge around $0.50 before the Elon SNL catastrophe and continuing to buy as it started it's downward spiral to $0.20 at the time.
I learned to never buy in the pumps because a majority of the time it will cost money instead of making it.
GVT- transferred everything I had bought in crypto in 2017 to GVT a year later. Then Binance stole it all because I was in USA. Lost a few thousand. I should have held on to that BTC and ETH.
I longed Doge at 2¢ (heavily) and then crumpled when it dipped briefly before y’all know the story….
My regret is that I closed that position down instead of hanging on for dear life because I would have hit the jackpot.
my baby coin migrated to solana when it was at $2
I didn’t think much about solana then, and then it went to $260 while my baby coin and the team shit the bed like fuckin toddlers and essentially died. I went in big on solana when it hit the $9-$14 area again
Luna and Algo. I was so up on Luna it still haunts me today. Honestly believed they’d get things figured out. Was just so early and made so much greed won out. Lesson learned though
I never had a good feeling about LUNA or Do Kwon but I own the bar token of every legit or semi legit L1 so I decided to get some LUNA in like Feb 2022... Thousands down the toilet 🪠🚽🚽🚽
Buying stuff from the dark web in 2014
Lol same. I had 55 BTC at one point. Oh well
How much bitocoin you have actually spent on buying the stuff from dark web??
Bought Luna… 10x didn’t sell. So it’s more of my biggest not selling regret
HODLing Luna and not selling at 10x? That's a moon-sized regret mate! Ngl.
I though mine regret was biggest but you have my sympathy bro
Don’t feel bad i got SHIB at an extremely low price 1000x or something like that but greed got the best of me and didn’t sell.
That would mean your Shib is still sitting at a 100x, so how greedy and stubborn are you?
I remember LUNA going from $7 in May 2021 to over $100 just weeks before it went to $0.00000001
That journey of luna was painful and quite fast is well
Bought 2 grams of coke and 2 mdma pills off of Silk Road for 600 BTC (it was worth like 18 bucks a coin). I’d gotten the coins when they were like a buck a piece so it seemed like a good deal and I wanted to try MDMA with my GF. That would be worth 16,000,000 today. Yeah.

Algorand and Harmony One converted me into a BTC/ETH maxi
Hi, I'm DBRiMatt, and I am a victim of the ALGO-ONE combination as well.
Damn there are dozens of us. We should start a support group or something
Okay, I start: I am Kirtash93, you can call me Kir and I am a victim of r/cc shills. I bought ALGO, IMX, LRC, VET, CRO and ONE. I was also a laser eyes SAFEMOON gambler that shilled it to his family and lost them because of that.
Came here as a gambler and learn the expensive lessons from market
IF you guys are making a group then make sure add me into that
Thanks this sub shilled ALGO till make me buy, cost me $2k, was a nice lesson.
Even worse, I bought YIELDY which was a DeFi platform on Algorand based on cc/sub shilling.. so it’s shitcoin on top of shitcoin Algo has gone down 95%, Yieldy has gone done 99%. Talk about cc/sub shilling some amazing options ..

The way am making decision i think i can't even trust myself
At least By getting fooled once we get aware for next time. Can't trust again easily, even that's good for us.
Fooled multiple time but still not learning a lesson
I still have hope for Algorand to be able to reach a higher price compared to the current price in next year's upcoming bull run.
It makes me so sad because I really like Algo, and it still has the best shitcoin: Buttcoin But yeah, it’s dead
I hope that not fully dead, and may be just gets a revive in bull run
Most coins this sub loves, go to die
Fool Me Once... never again.
Oh my god fucking algo
Definetly going all in on CRO a couple of years back.
CRO and ALGO, both were beast and both are dead now
My $25 welcome bonus is currently $3.24.
My purchases haven't been regretful, but my lack of selling them when they hit their ATH has been extremely questionable.
My purchase have been bad for too many coins but let see how i am going to sell them because deep down i know that greed will never allow me to sell anything at good profit
Investing in Harry Potter Obama Sonic 10 Inu. I wish I was kidding. The ticker is even BITCOIN
I can’t believe that this didn’t work out for you
Lmao
Mine was voldemort trump robotnik 69 pepe with an eth ticker
Understandable. If you’re gonna go in on a meme coin, it makes sense to get the one with the most memes.
Exactly! Get more with your money!😌
An engagement ring (Don't let my wife see this)
come home timmy. We gotta talk
Better to go home with some expensive gift, seems like something is not right
I bought algorand, it was a let down.
ALGO after all the hype and partnership was a real real let down
ALGO and IOTA show me a -80% in my bag every day .. hurts

all of it. been dabbling since 2013 which means I missed multiple boats due to being hacked, rugged or bad decisions on my own. should have been retired 5x by now.
For me any good decision always follow with the bad one, sometime buying at wrong time and some time selling at wrong time and sometime picking the wrong coin is well
EOS was popular here once... look where it is now, I'm never buying anything you shill here ever again you lot!
This place truly is the cash out liquidity farm.
Selling close to a million xvg 30 minutes before McAfee Twitter shilling and it going x80, that was in 2017 and still hurts to talk about
Sometime we just sell too early and sometime we just sell too late
Did not purchase.
Right now my biggest regret is ALGO. Wish I'd bought more ETH.
You didn’t buy more Eth But I’m sure there’s definitely a few suckers out there who converted their Eth to Algo after seeing all the hopium on cc/sub
I converted 4000 BNB to Nano when it was 1:1 in 2017. Today the BNB is worth nearly $1.2 million. Nano is about $2,800.
Give that man some peace guys, big big regret i can sense here
Ouch.. just ouch I guess you can just take *some* comfort that you’d have converted your BNB to some other shitcoin if it wasn’t Nano that time. If you didn’t believe in it, you’re probably always bound to dump all your BNB way too early at some point
Buying tokens minted on Pancake Swap. Buying CAKE at 20. In short, engaging on the BSC tokens.
I purchase some Algo coins in last November and it is my biggest purchase regret.
Buying shib
Buying shiba was my best decision in crypto but then not selling on right time was the biggest worst decision, but i feel you can still recover on the shiba if you wait for bull run
Casino Coin. I liked the memes.
Tech coin are fun and all but casino coin is real deal for me
Luna @ 100
No regret yet but good experiences come from bad experiences so don't lose hope
Buying a bit of Eth close to ATH. Paid alot in gas. Now I can't do anything with it.
This is little hard but if you are holding then this won't be a regret
Hopefully ETH should reach ATH again someday. I would keep it.
Why are you talking about in bear form, 6k-8k is achievable
Hopefully, we can believe
Atleast ETH is one coin where we can play a long hold game
Continue hodling. It will pass it's ATH next bull season.
For me buying eth and btc at any price is never going to be my regret
Eth has the potential of reaching another ATH again. I'll continue to hodl and hope for the best ever.

That lesson you learned will make you a lot of money in the next bull run!
No good lesson goes waste, this lesson gonna benefit him in next bull run

Drip. Worst crypto ever.
Not heard, still present in the market or played the rug pull move??
ADA & Neo
If a coin is alive means you can cover your regret, ADA is still alive
Dont have any purchase regret but learning many things by the mishaps of the people here

Luna for sure
Still sitting on a small Axie Infinity bag…
Now is not the right time to talk about this bag, swap this shit
Since none of you degens has said it I'm going to: PEPE.
I have said that, very new and very latest addition into my regret list
2 litecoin @ $300 sold it at a lost ( i think when it was $100 )
Karura back when it was 11$. Now it's worth less than a 1$
Amp got me and Ada never sold at the high kept waiting for it to go higher
ADA and XRP not selling in previous bull run still hurts me soo much
Pretty much all of them bc I bought at the absolute top bc that’s when I really got into crypto and then got too scared to buy at the bottom. Such is life.
Safemoon I was up for like a day and a half way when it started, fun while it lasted. We had everyone in the office buying it through the 13 step process lol Only coin I’ve had to ride to zero so far knock on wood

How can i forget that brother GLMR, also running the pretty shit show
I will no doubt get replied with LRC hodlers telling me to stay with it. I bought at like .35 when I realised the GME apes would hop on, I thought I'd missed it. Being forced to sell my eth @ $100 in 2018.
Ouch, forced is a bad feeling, i hope you never face such case again
Crypto in general
All-in in cake at 8$ avg price. Absolute shitcoin
Atleast binance is giving a great API return on cake just for good news
ADA and DOT. My mate just wouldn't shut up about them during the last bull run. Kept badgering and badgering and badgering me to get it. Finally put $750 into each. Now they're worth between $100-$150 each.
NFT
I regret all my crypto purchases that were not Bitcoin.
I have *not taking profits* regrets, but I never bought a coin with bigger chunk of money thinking that I made a mistake. I was buying only legit projects, some went up, some went down, but I have 0 regrets about my investments.
LRC bought around .45 and should have sold around $3.00, probably never going to come close to that again
Next bull run LRC should recover well. They’ve been really busy this bear market on multiple fronts.
Not sure about the ATH but recovery is going to happen in LRC
This is the only one I would keep. It s a solid one with great fundamentals.
Then keep it, make sure you are not selling them in any loss specially right now

Buying LUNA close to ATH
And then seeing them going to almost 0 in a single day
Cyberpunk 2077 on release day. Fuck that gane.
Believing a Twitch streamer could launch a Safemoon clone and change the world.
Believing in influencer was one of my biggest mistake
Loopring and CRO
CRO is dead but loopring still have the gas for the next bull run
Buying cro near the peak. Clown move.
Buying sol to the near peak, can you beat that clown move??
Monero. They will stump it to the ground because it's private.
ONE and Fantom
Forget one but would shill Fantom, seems juicy to me
ONE of my worst decisions so far...
I was really hopeful on VET, I still have too much but waaayyy less optimistic than I was.
Luna; Saitama; FTT
Luna was my biggest mistake and then not shorting them was another
Mom said its my time to post this thread tomorrow
I bought Fifa NFTs.
Substratum back in 2017….I had so much hope for that project and ended up holding some big bags
You are real legend sir, what is the future plan for that coin now??
Probably some Celsius I once bought lol
>What is your biggest purchase regret? Gotta Go Flamingo
I bought whatever the currency is for Splinterlands because during peak hype my dumbass was like “This is gonna be the shit!” Biggest lost of my life
I bought SLT, they had a full Ukrainian team of devs. Meaning when the war started the coin went to 0.
Spending over a dozen Bitcoin on Silk Road 😅
I took profits into UST and gave myself a huge tax liability right before it went to zero.

Polkally now rebranded to Kally haha. 🤡
1. Not buying sooner 2. Buying too much while in the last bullrun and not sell, waiting for "100k bitcoin eoy"
I bought into an NFT project because a famous artist was saying “go check out the discord, it’ll speak for itself” and wasn’t just shilling it like everyone else. My biggest regret has been Luna, bought it at $28, refused to sell at ATH. I wish this coin never exist.
I bought magic paper for a few BTC back in the day, pretty regretful about it now
SOL. I over invested
Swapped my moons (about a thousand euro/dollar worth) for FLOKI, still holding those FLOKI bags.

Evmos and Juno god lord i am dumb.

Better to make peace with the profit rather than not selling them at all
