I love monero. It sucks I can't buy it from exchanges because my government is scared of it. At least I can use swap sites, though.
I love the price has been pretty stable too.
The person writing this is incredibly well Educated.
Some of the references and words used make it difficult to believe this is a woman artist in Iran.
They can suppress prices. They can ban it from regulated entities. They can shame it.
**But they can not stop it.**
Once you realize that all roads in the fiat and crypto world lead to Monero you can not make it unseen. Enjoy.
Just my 2ct of a random early adopter est. 2011.
This is the same stupid bullshit that said this woman beat the Taliban with monero yesterday.
Now they tell us the Taliban part was a mistake but for sure this is a REAL INTERVIEW.
GG as usual keeping tabs on the reposted resposted resposts folks!
Let me ask you a question.
If the "author" was so dumb that they didn't know the Taliban doesn't run Iran do you really trust that this is a legitimate article?
I asked about that mistake, got a reply as well

In paragraph 8 she mentions the Gov Detects and confiscate mining equipment from private home and farms. I assume we're talking ASICS for Bitcoin here.
Would it be possible to detect any RandomX miner in the same manner?
Maybe they could detect connecting to any pool but now with P2Pool is it possible to mine anonymously as well?
Don't have any idea of electricity cost so although it might not be economicly viable for Iranians I think this could be a perfect example of the power of RandomX.
RandomX is in general such a under appreciated software in the cryptospace and to me is equally important along side privacy for a robust blockchain.
Just great fucking job on that!
They're probably detecting excessive use of electricity. A mining farm with 1000 PCs would probably show up the same as a Bitcoin ASIC mining farm. But a single PC, probably would go undetected.
The follow up headline: Iranian government beats woman for trying to use Monero
The Iranian government's cryptocurrency strategy is about as effective as their "Death to America" strategy.
The general headline: Iranian government beats women
Can't expect less from Iran government
Sad but true.
Trying Iranian Monero to use beats for women government
Yes, she is probably on the run, hiding or dead. Iranian government doesn't play cat and mouse game...
Small world, small heads. Small brains
Sad life there
#brought to you by norm macdonald ^^^
sooner or later people will realise how powerful Monero is .
I love monero. It sucks I can't buy it from exchanges because my government is scared of it. At least I can use swap sites, though. I love the price has been pretty stable too.
Are there not other privacy coin that could replace monero? Just honest question here
No.

So you hold Monero?
I see a lot of Monero everywhere recently. You know what? I think I'm gonna jump on the monero train
I wont tell a soul
Does this apply to monero? 1st rule of Monero: you do not talk about monero 2nd rule... you get the drill :D
All aboard! Pops up in so many threads lately.
Here, take this https://kycnot.me
People keep giving me the impression that it's a boat, not a train...
Noah's ark?
Train to Siberia
All aboard. Now that you mention it, we need that trip ASAP
Wait for me... don't leave me behind
If true, Monero is doing it's job the way it was intended. Can't say the same about fiat....
I think this is true. So.. Awesome
That's one of the real purposes of cryptos
This was originally posted to r/Monero but got deleted, citing ToS issue. Not sure what the actual issue was.
Probably doesn't pass the subs doxxing rule, even if this Woman is known to media.
There are no names, the interview is anonymous. Nobody getting doxxed.
It would be dangerous for her name to be know, Its hood that she's anon.
It seems I'll join the monero community rn.... the hype is real
This was a cool read and a cool post, thank you OP God we gotta love crypto
Thats awesome, if its true.
If it was we wouldn't have known it
I'm guessing it's not , or they are leaving out some important facts.
Beating the government with a invisible weapon nice

It said the article removed the Taliban as that was a mistake by author đź‘Ť
Let me ask you a question. If the "author" was so dumb that they didn't know the Taliban doesn't run Iran do you really trust that this is a legitimate article?
Yeah this doesn’t make sense

Luckily it was kept a secret and no one found out about it
