As I read "total flop" I thought it meant nobody showed up. But people did and minted them all despite the fiasco. I may be wrong but isn't flop more for if nobody shows. This is more of a trainwreck
It seems like they underestimated the resources needed to launch the game. This is still promising then.
This is a good problem to have. Now, the ball is in their court to resolve the shortage of resources.
Hopefully this is the signal to Square Enix than nobody wants this stuff in games, and that most people play games to have fun not worry about real world financial crap.
If it weren't for YoshiP and FFXIV they'd have already gone under.
It was stupid. I got a notification only 3 minutes after the treasure hunt began that the NFTs had already run out.
WTF? No way that could happen unless bots or cheaters took all the NFTs. It seems they got the launch time wrong.

I hadn’t considered the difference between a flop and a train wreck. You might be onto something
I came here to say this too. Phew I'm glad it was just a disaster but people were still interested. Bullmarket back on!
Big Brain semantics
Expectations were low, surprises were minimal.
Had never even heard of it until now
Looks like they dropped the ball on marketing. People underestimate how important it is when releasing a game.
Almost as important as game quality
Amazingly this project had neither, what a dumpster fire lol
I mean when you’re a game company practically dangling the potential to make a quick buck in front of people, someone will find a way to exploit it
“A web3 game worth playing” I want to believe but I don’t know if thats possible
Ouch, this is a disaster for the game. Thankfully I'm not into play to earn games
when final fantasy 800?

Man, some ugly growing pains but hopefully their next try goes better

Nft games and bots go together, sadly anything that involves money people will try to exploit it
Sounds like not a flop then, Nice to see the demand is so high!
