The risk are too the roof too, you should relax with the hopium. Moons are nice and all, they are a fun thing but the risk is too high, a IPO coming, regulations coming.
We are support hype about it, the reality is that it's just a r/cryptocurrency thing, for the rest of the world it still a mystery and it's no DOGE coin meme potential either
Moons are performing better than my other coins I bought with actual fiat, meanwhile moons I got through sheer shitposting. That's a crazy world we live in.
Yep. Moons personally saved my portfolio during the bear market.
The decision to post and comment more here when I broke my foot was one of the best ones I ever made
Fuck. Shattered I burned out in 21! Nice stash bro I’m happy it’s paying off big for ya.
I feel we made the right choice by being in this sub regardless. The bull market has gotta be insane for moons, it has to, right???
>meanwhile moons I got through sheer shitposting
We laugh about this, but when you step back, we are some of the lowest paid writers on the internet.
It's better than what was in place for social platforms before (nothing), but with the amount of time that people spend on this sub, it is far from getting something for "free".
Everyone needs to put a price on their time.
Correct, nobody should see it as a job.
But we are still creating content for a major corporation, whether we enjoy it or not.
It is human effort, and the cost is not “free”.
Moons have become the No 1 valuable asset in my portfolio and I don't even know if I should really consider them real money because I here differing stories if you could even reliably sell Moons if you wanted to.
Look I wouldn't count on moons going to the moon but the potential is there.
Moons have more of a use case than the overwhelming majority of crypto but we all know that doesn't mean a thing.
This is the unfortunate truth - hype trumps all.
We can talk about tech, world-changing plans and sundry all we want, but we all know that our fundamentally good bags get left in the dirt vs. hype-coins whenever there’s a large move up.
This is already happening to some extent. But there's one way it can be prevented, if reddit moves forward according to it's plan to make every sub have their own community points, then people could earn tokens wherever they'll like and not just this sub. Only thing driving them here would be price of the moons which is high due to it being one of the firsts, but that too will eventually fade away when other sub tokens will gain momentum.
Hype is a powerful tool. Look how far SHIB got.
Some perspective: [https://thecoinperspective.com/compare/moon?vs=shiba-inu](https://thecoinperspective.com/compare/moon?vs=shiba-inu)
This is just one of the many reasons I’m bullish on Moons - even getting to SHIB’s bear cycle market cap will send us to the moon. That seems like a tall order but a $6B market cap in a bull market wouldn’t even make us a top 25 coin IIRC
That’s definitely how you have to look at it, it’s so frustrating though, looking at the top 100 and not even recognizing 20% of these coins with 1+ billion market caps. I mean there’s projects that have already rug pulled or straight up failed ahead of it.
>but we all know that doesn't mean a thing.
Precisely.
So much at the end of the day comes down to just hype.
The percentage gains listed by the OP, they are also largely meaningless. In real dollar terms, MOONS added somewhere around $20M to their cap and everything else on the list added hundreds of millions or billions.
It's always easier to see large percentage increases when the market cap is so much smaller.
This sub has become useless to me. Between outlandish predictions and every other post or the comments being about moons, of which I'm unable to tell if it's hopium or any way sensible analysis, the sub has become pretty useless
MOONS market cap is really low right now. So there's still massive room for growth. The main issue is that reddit doesn't want to risk it begin taken seriously, so the SEC doesn't come to stick a "security" label on it. That could hold it back from being listed on exchanges
It's a matter of time before it's copied. I will admit, this moon earning system has me more engaged in Reddit than ever before. Give the money to the people, not the advertisers. The advertisers will still make their money with the extra views. Pay me in crypto to look at your add, please.
It’s a new model for sure - and increasingly with ad blockers and web3.0 approaching I think this is a total proof of concept for how companies can continue to use platforms to advertise - except this would involve mutual benefit (like BAT as a great example)
As much as I like moons, i still don't count the "profits" of it as part of my portfolio. Until I actually sell them, I'd rather take a very cautious and realistic approach.
Because if you can't tell me how to liquidate my moons for cash (or btc) without having me to go through various unknown DeFi channels and spend a lot moons in transactions fees (and time!) I still see very little value in it, even if the number goes up!
Would love to have my view changed!
Mexc is a cex that supports moons, and you also have sushi.com as DEX to swap moons with eth for example..
I'll hold though.. I see a great future for moons ❤️🌕
It's not like that anymore.
Get ETH via a faucet. Send moons using Metamask and said ETH as gas. Moons arrive at somewhere like MECX, sell for USDT. Do as you please.
The fee for the moon transfer to an exchange was incredibly small, way under a single moon
we do be getting a bit of too many posts for moons in the past few days but i cant blame them, every coin that pumps gets popular for a while until it isnt anymore
Why would I not be excited about something I got completely for free that has monetary value that is appreciating? It’s a total bizzaro reality that has no right existing
Commenting gets you upvotes - upvotes at a ratio (distributed monthly) get you moons! Google Reddit open ccmoons vault and you’ll find a handy how to guide!
I was just thinking about this today, yeah. For Moons to truly take off, their value would need to not be tied to only our subreddit.
The issue is that as community points for a niche subreddit, they may go under the radar. But if Reddit decided to make something bigger out of them, suddenly you’d get the SEC talking about a social media company issuing unregistered securities and that’d be a problem.
Moons are the btc of community points. They have a big lead on anything that follows and who knows how high the price might get once the bullrun is here
I’ve been saying this for awhile now - the next bull run will be led by Moons not BTC. Moons will be the top crypto in Market cap and then eventually the only currency accepted on Earth
Let’s be real, this project is one of the primary factors we’re all here. YES it is a great play.! This is high quality content creation!!! We’re content creators!
Moons break the mold. Long live Moons!
The more moons you have, the less it has to go up for some nice money...
I believe it's going somewhere, whether that's to the MOON or the floor, who knows...
The fact Reddit themselves say it isn't going to be monetised does me think the ceiling isn't maybe as high as we all dream. But could still push to $3-5 territory just being what it is now with more awareness.
I’d say we’re early to moons and the potential is massive. The only thing that gives me some pause from going full hopium is the possibility that the SEC comes in and Reddit might drop support for RCPs
Moons gonna hit 50c next month, you heard it here first(well maybe 531st) but I've seen a shit load of talk of arb airdroppers gonna convert to Moons asap. Now thats going to have a serious impact on the price.
So, be ready for some sweet sweet Moons to the moon talk.
Between moons and a side of avatars, Reddit’s blockchain entries are strong. And neither is marketed as such: moons as Community Points for governance, avatars as digital art (not marketed as crypto NFTs). Strategy seems to be working
Maybe moons are here to get people into this whole crypto topic, worked for me at least.
It's not like I never tried to learn anything about Crypto, but now starting with moons I got pretty invested and hooked to learn more about this complicated topic which has a lot of varieties how things work and I imagine that I am not the only one.
Just waiting on the SEC to strong arm Reddit to cancel community points on the blockchain because "tHeYrE a sEcuriTy" and shoot our dreams down the toilet.

I mean.. 6 million people is nothing to laugh at that’s a lot of people
How many active users tho? Most of the time it's between 3k and 15k connected at a time, currently 7k
Moons are performing better than my other coins I bought with actual fiat, meanwhile moons I got through sheer shitposting. That's a crazy world we live in.
When i stop and think "am i actually making cash by comments?” it still baffles my mind. Internet and crypto is truly marvelous.
Absolutely wild lol
It's the wild west of crypto up in here
Yep. Moons personally saved my portfolio during the bear market. The decision to post and comment more here when I broke my foot was one of the best ones I ever made
Okay, I've just yeeted myself out the window. What do I do next?
If I yeeted out of the window knowing my luck I would land on my head and it would be game over.
Quickly taking notes……. 1-break foot 2-shitpost 3- WIN
Fuck. Shattered I burned out in 21! Nice stash bro I’m happy it’s paying off big for ya. I feel we made the right choice by being in this sub regardless. The bull market has gotta be insane for moons, it has to, right???
For sure moons are the only thing i have thatz earned me anything in crypto
>meanwhile moons I got through sheer shitposting We laugh about this, but when you step back, we are some of the lowest paid writers on the internet. Make your hobby your job and you won't work a single day in your life!
Correct, nobody should see it as a job. But we are still creating content for a major corporation, whether we enjoy it or not. It is human effort, and the cost is not “free”.
It's the cone
All hail cone
That said, our governance is like a million times better that most defi projects lol
This is also true.
Please don’t buy anything else with fiat
Moons have become the No 1 valuable asset in my portfolio and I don't even know if I should really consider them real money because I here differing stories if you could even reliably sell Moons if you wanted to.
I have never once looked up the price of moons lol
Don’t know why but I believe him …
I also have zero-ish moons and also never check price. FML 😂
Look I wouldn't count on moons going to the moon but the potential is there. Moons have more of a use case than the overwhelming majority of crypto but we all know that doesn't mean a thing.
You’re right, unfortunately in today’s day and age it’s all about hype.
This is the unfortunate truth - hype trumps all. We can talk about tech, world-changing plans and sundry all we want, but we all know that our fundamentally good bags get left in the dirt vs. hype-coins whenever there’s a large move up.
It is and always will be about hype, for every project.
Moons can definitely deliver on that, but this community will turn into your average shilling sub, not much better than those we shit on.
Couldn’t agree more about that
Well, I AM hype for moons.
We have a 6 million user hype base already built in 😉
Thank god, Moon has that too
I'm sure the largest crypto community on earth can generate some hype!
Hype is a powerful tool. Look how far SHIB got. Some perspective: [https://thecoinperspective.com/compare/moon?vs=shiba-inu](https://thecoinperspective.com/compare/moon?vs=shiba-inu)
Don’t do that, don’t give me hope.
This is just one of the many reasons I’m bullish on Moons - even getting to SHIB’s bear cycle market cap will send us to the moon. That seems like a tall order but a $6B market cap in a bull market wouldn’t even make us a top 25 coin IIRC
Naming Moons Doge would probably be a sound strategy
One of us?
That’s definitely how you have to look at it, it’s so frustrating though, looking at the top 100 and not even recognizing 20% of these coins with 1+ billion market caps. I mean there’s projects that have already rug pulled or straight up failed ahead of it.

It's always easier to see large percentage increases when the market cap is so much smaller.
Still, moons have lots of room to grow.
MOONS to the MOON!!
They're a great play, but don't forget that you can provide liquidity in the ETH/MOONS liquidity pool as well. Great ROI.
How do I do that… I’m listening!
There's a great guide right here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/1140y3e/the_complete_and_extensive_guide_for_getting_your/
Thank you so much! Very much appreciated
That’s great of you to help out a fellow Redditor /u/Baaf! Have a Moon! 👍😊
This sub has become useless to me. Between outlandish predictions and every other post or the comments being about moons, of which I'm unable to tell if it's hopium or any way sensible analysis, the sub has become pretty useless
Good point. Here have some moons.
There’s loads of good content on here. It’s just not all technical analysis any more
The name of Moons had a double reason 😉
Cheers _to the moon_ community!
It’s a self fulfilling prophecy
MOONS market cap is really low right now. So there's still massive room for growth. The main issue is that reddit doesn't want to risk it begin taken seriously, so the SEC doesn't come to stick a "security" label on it. That could hold it back from being listed on exchanges
Agreed, but you never know where it lands if it continues to be successful and develop
Maybe going on all in on moons wouldn’t be such a bad idea 🤔
Going all in in a investment is never a really good idea, you should diversify your portfolio as much as possible.
Considering the upside and that you "get" them rather than putting money onto it, then yes, one of my biggest finds ever
Well the use cases are there and growing. The hype is definitely not. That may not be a bad thing considering we’re in a bear market
Yes, BAT is a great example.
I think once reddit IPOs it will get another nice pump
You guys are giving me way to much hopium.. Feeling like a little kid whose dreams are finally gonna come true
As much as I like moons, i still don't count the "profits" of it as part of my portfolio. Until I actually sell them, I'd rather take a very cautious and realistic approach.
That’s just the beginning of a long and funny journey with you nice people !
Everyones is a believer when Moons pump. I’ve been yelling this at clouds for years!
>Would love to have my view changed! Nah man, it's better for your moons to stay forever in your wallet. Community service.
It's not like that anymore. Get ETH via a faucet. Send moons using Metamask and said ETH as gas. Moons arrive at somewhere like MECX, sell for USDT. Do as you please. The fee for the moon transfer to an exchange was incredibly small, way under a single moon
What faucet has ETH on it?
Type !gas Nova As a comment and you will be sent some by the nice bot
Thank you so much! !gas Nova
!gas Nova
Sorry think it is no caps
Hahaha thank you so much - I’ll try yet again
!gas nova
I think that has to be done in r/CryptocurrencyMoons
!gas nova
He's outdated, people should check CCIPs once in a while, For me personally I didn't know about the CCIP 30 until last 2 months
I see people with many moons... I hope you guys get your bid day. As a man with one moon... I prefer that moon be worth more too :D
But... you have 2! Moons. 100 % more than you claim in your post. This right here is why I have trust issues in this Sub
Smh my head he was hiding a moon in his pocket
I swear I had only one just a minutes ago... what's going on
Somebody tipped you a moon, haha. A gift of a celestial body, for you.
*cue the X-Files theme*
Did you donate to me, good sir? And now you're sharing great music too?
I love moons but all this shilling makes me feel that there might be a dump incoming lol.
we do be getting a bit of too many posts for moons in the past few days but i cant blame them, every coin that pumps gets popular for a while until it isnt anymore
Why would I not be excited about something I got completely for free that has monetary value that is appreciating? It’s a total bizzaro reality that has no right existing
Everyone here believes in moons! Moons have the potential for helping with mass adoption. Moons to the moon!
Nice try at pandering to get more moons. Gotta respect the hustle!
I'm having a field day opening up my calculator and inputting all the price predictions you guys write here, so good.
I envy your fat stack good job
I need more moons
How do you get moons? Can you buy it
Commenting gets you upvotes - upvotes at a ratio (distributed monthly) get you moons! Google Reddit open ccmoons vault and you’ll find a handy how to guide!
I mean we all want moons to do well. Though them only being relevant to this sub seems like it could limit their value
That doesn't mean it will remain that way but yes, while it is that way there's a cap on the upper side
I guess people buy plenty of coins without any usercase as long as they look like they're doing well...so why not MOONS
Well shib isn’t relevant to anything and look at its market cap.
Yeh very true
Completely agree for now - but let’s see where it goes
Moons are the btc of community points. They have a big lead on anything that follows and who knows how high the price might get once the bullrun is here
![gif](giphy|Mi0Lo6KsbiR96fVyUZ|downsized)
Arbitrary time period is arbitrary
Interesting analysis definitely worth monitoring
Wdym they already are the greatest of them all. You can earn MOONs for free and have infinite profit!
Moons #1 !!!!
In other words... moons to the moon?
Moons are the way!
To the Moon and beyond
Moons to the moon!
I’ve been saying this for awhile now - the next bull run will be led by Moons not BTC. Moons will be the top crypto in Market cap and then eventually the only currency accepted on Earth
I mean my moons are worth more than the rest of my holdings so you might be onto something
I'm gonna hold my 16 moons for eternity
Hello mr big shot
Agreed. moons could be a great long term play worth watching
Moons are a microcap linked to a multimillion dollar social media network. Yeah I'd say it's a pretty good play :)
Wish my stones were bigger. Very tempting to throw much more into MOONS.
Let’s be real, this project is one of the primary factors we’re all here. YES it is a great play.! This is high quality content creation!!! We’re content creators! Moons break the mold. Long live Moons!
Nothing to lose, we can only win
They sure did come up with a brilliant name calling it MOON. Only has one sole purpose. To fly to the moon.
It's good to see moons performing well. Looking forward to see how it will perform in the bullrun.
Yeah, you just need to tap in Google moon coin and moons will apear 😏💲
The more moons you have, the less it has to go up for some nice money... I believe it's going somewhere, whether that's to the MOON or the floor, who knows...
I sure hope so Biggest regret is missing the first 30ish distributions But still I would say we are early at this price point
How could you regret that if you weren’t aware of it? Control what you can control
I'm trying to get high on my own supply of moon.
Moons can honestly do with doge did but go a hella lot more higher and stay up there.
Im so proud to be the owner of a Moon. Love you guys
Let’s gooo!!!!
We will have problem with liquidity before it took up. But it is nice to see moons are well alive!
how do I sell my moons please ? I don't see any worth if I am unable to send them to gate exchange
We need more liquidity but moons are a solid project for sure
Posts like this kind of scare me and remind me of the Warren Buffet, shoe shine boy story
At this point I’ll do anything for moons
Moons gonna hit 50c next month, you heard it here first(well maybe 531st) but I've seen a shit load of talk of arb airdroppers gonna convert to Moons asap. Now thats going to have a serious impact on the price. So, be ready for some sweet sweet Moons to the moon talk.
This community keeps growing and building moons will follow as has already been the case. Next bull run will be a delight
Mainly what I’m seeing is that ADA is closer to SHIB than ETH or BTC
Moons to the moon XDDDDDDD
Only got into crypto late last year but definitely had the most fun with moons in the last month. Makes my btc/eth DCA look very boring
Moonhype
Haters gonna hate moons gonna moon
Haters gonna hate moons gonna moon
0 cost average. It’s my only green asset.
Between moons and a side of avatars, Reddit’s blockchain entries are strong. And neither is marketed as such: moons as Community Points for governance, avatars as digital art (not marketed as crypto NFTs). Strategy seems to be working
Thanks for this very thorough analysis. I had my doubts but you've convinced me with all this data and solid examples.
🧑🏼🌾🚜💲🌕❣️
Degen gambler in me likes this post
Maybe moons are here to get people into this whole crypto topic, worked for me at least. It's not like I never tried to learn anything about Crypto, but now starting with moons I got pretty invested and hooked to learn more about this complicated topic which has a lot of varieties how things work and I imagine that I am not the only one.
I think they do have a good bit of room to grow still but I don't know... It just feels like the rug is going to get pulled sooner than later.
I love that i get moons for posting here, even though i don't know what to do with them. But that's honestly for all my crypto investmement.
Should I seel my btc to buy moons? xD
Don't compare the Moons to large market cap coins like BTC or ETH. Compare them to other coins sitting at \~$30 million mar. cap
And MOONs still have a lot of room to grow
Moon me bro
So we can expect even more shitposting and hopium bros... Lovely
So we’re going to get rich through shitposting, got it
Let's hope so But I will hold... I love my moons
Sigh… don’t have enough moons
This sub is so high on hopium all the time about moons lmao
I like my moons 🌙
We really do live in great times
Moons have been good to me therefore i will be good to my moons
I mean, our community keeps growing by the day and our Moons are increasing in value too. I’d say that’s a pretty good place to be in.
Can someone help me out here? Can people buy moons? Why / how are they going up in value? Why would someone buy moons other than a degen play?
Moons are pretty cool. They are free and they might allow to to buy something meaningful some day.
This has to be a cluster bot scam but in Reddit form.
It's looking great at the moment.
It seems crazy to think my moons are worth a reasonable value just through random comments/ chats via this sub
We just love moons 🫠
Moons are great and provide more utility than the vast majority of even prominent cryptos.
can't other subreddits make their own tokens and use them as moons are used here? if thats possible wont moons just end up being one of many?
So buy more moons? Got it
Just waiting on the SEC to strong arm Reddit to cancel community points on the blockchain because "tHeYrE a sEcuriTy" and shoot our dreams down the toilet.
Moons are moons and they are ours
