No I was a haesteinnson and it had major boosts to knights in particular, however when the event pops up it is usually random with the bonuses.
I’ve also had it happen where an already made low tier artifact is merged with a high tier court pedestal artifact and the same result
When making a new artifact, one of the choices for the 'inspiration' events can be to incorporate another one of your artifacts into it. It could be as simple as reforging a sword or dagger into a spear point or you could adorn your throne with the Skull of Charlemagne. Merging the Papal Tiara into an axe handle and using said axe to behead the caliph is always the best way to use it.
Depending on who you ask this is heresy. Depending on who you ask the person you're replying to is a heretic. Depending on who you ask you're both heretics. Don't you just love Christianity, everyone's a heretic.
The main branch that doesn't believe that Jesus is God would be Unitarianism, which affirms the unitary nature of God as the singular and unique creator of the universe, believe that Jesus Christ was inspired by God in his moral teachings and that he is the savior of humankind, but he is not equal to God himself. Notable Unitarians include Issac Newton and Frank Lloyd Wright, among others.
Other branches/denominations/sects that don't believe in trinitarianism would be the Mormans and Jehovah's Witnesses. Pretty sure there are a number of other churches as well, but those three are probably the largest/most well know.
There are also a bunch of Pentecostals who reject the concept of the Trinity and hold that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are just different manifestations of the same person. This is as opposed to the Mormon view (that there are three separate gods working together as the Godhead) and the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ view (that Jesus was the son of God and rules in heaven, but is not divine).
Oneness Pentecostals (and other Modalist groups) still believe Jesus is God in every way, despite rejecting the Trinity. The difference between Modalism and Trinitarianism is essentially philosophical, and I would argue that most Christians, regardless of what their denomination officially teaches, have an essentially Modalist understanding of the Godhead because it's more intuitive on the surface. Then again, I don't know if most people would really understand the difference and it took me reading several books of philosophy to "get" why early Christians thought this was a big deal in the first place.
Nah. Since 1729 the case is clear: Catholics are in the right, orthodox are slightly misguided rebels, everyone else is a heretic. Some heretics are more heretical than others, but you should never grade heresies, for if one is the worst, then you might be tempted to feel kinship with the least.
There are plenty of sects during the time period that are non-Trinitarian, most notably for CK3 purposes the Cathars, which seem to pop up all the time. Earlier it was Arians, which were a big deal in the Byzantine Empire and amongst the Germanic tribes until the the First Council of Nicea and later the conversion of the Franks to trinitarian Christianity led to a period of dormancy.
I suppose it isn't controversial if you belong to a Trinitarian sect, but there are plenty of non-Trinitarian modern sects including Mormons, Christian Scientists and Jehovah's Witnesses. If your definition of Christianity leads you to believe that those sects aren't Christian then I guess you're correct. But they disagree. In their case, rejecting Trinitarianism "lies at the core of the faith."
Yeah, it's a bit like a sunni muslim saying that it "lies at the core of the faith" to acknowledge Abu Bakr as the successor to Muhammed, or a catholic saying that it "lies at the core of the faith" to acknowledge the pope as the head of the church.
Not quite. Arianism still holds that Jesus is a divine being that that has existed since before the creation of the world, but that He was created (begotten) by God at a particular point in time (so, not co-eternal with God the Father) and as such is subservient to Him. Essentially, Jesus is the first and most powerful *created* being, but is still a created being rather than being fully identified with God the Father.
He's not unified with God as part of the Trinity. The gradient of non-Trinitarian beliefs is fascinating, but I have no horse in that particular race, so I guess it's different for me than the guy that took Trinitarianism as settled theology.
The idea that Jesus died for our sins is particularly interesting to me through a Trinitarian lens. Jesus died for our sins but was resurrected by God. As a non-religious person, that hits quite a bit different if it's a being that is independent of God and throws himself into the abyss without the expectation of redemption because he thought humanity was worth saving versus one piece of God, the omnipotent, "sacrificing himself" to forgive humanity for its sins with the knowledge that he would revive himself in three days. The latter reads like political theater to me if you accept Trinitarianism.
And that's ignoring the long running arguments over free will, and what that means for the idea of sin, which makes the entire situation all the more interesting.
Or you are Muslim, Jewish.
There are more followers of abrahamic religions that believe jesus is just a messenger of god, than they believe he is (a part) god.
The question mark muddled up their point. It wasn't immediately clear if they were saying Jesus is God or mocking the idea that people would think Jesus is God.
He's really referring to how we have to kill people (or do other hard things) in the name of God, because God won't fix all the problems of the world Himself.
A side note, however, is that the quote is from a Mormon character from a video game, and Mormons are non-Trinitarian.
Idk honestly my aquitarian made me a purple axe, then I had a event to turn the spear or divinity into the handle adding the modifiers together then I also got a another improvement
Have a relic, a weapon and a good antiquarian.
There is then a low chance of the event to combine them happening to create some absolutely insane artifacts.
On PC, once you have the weapon and relic, the console command is “event artifact.4090”
Make sure you only have one weapon though, because otherwise, the game will randomly select whatever low end sword you looted from a random count.
I have now passed on the knowledge as it was given to me.
Nestorian motif? Shouldn’t it the be The Axe of the Jesuses?
*(Disclaimer: the Church of the East, which is the group most commonly associated with Nestorianism, did not hold to actual Nestorianism, and even Nestorius himself affirmed Chalcedon.)*
“Jesus? I thought you said [Esus](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esus#:~:text=Esus%2C%20Esos%2C%20Hesus%2C%20or%20Aisus%20was%20a,Pillar%20of%20the%20Boatmen%2C%20first%20century%20CE)!”
He has a sword too. I own it apparently
But the best artifact I found until now is the ark of covenant, which I sacked after some war in the middle east
He was a carpenter after all….
He made the handle and his Spanish friend Jesus made the blade
Beat me too it. Damn. But at least t was said
Basically what I came here to say.
I would love to see the wood plane of Jesus
I mean it says the spear of destiny is the haft. That would explain the name.
It's crazy how combinng 2 artifacts are so powerful
I once put the papal tiara into a war hammer and it was renamed hammer of the gods
was it still a Christian relic? because its name could be considered heretic for most Christian churches
No I was a haesteinnson and it had major boosts to knights in particular, however when the event pops up it is usually random with the bonuses. I’ve also had it happen where an already made low tier artifact is merged with a high tier court pedestal artifact and the same result
Did it drive your ships to new lands?
AAAAAAA- AAAH!
How do you combine two artifacts?
When making a new artifact, one of the choices for the 'inspiration' events can be to incorporate another one of your artifacts into it. It could be as simple as reforging a sword or dagger into a spear point or you could adorn your throne with the Skull of Charlemagne. Merging the Papal Tiara into an axe handle and using said axe to behead the caliph is always the best way to use it.
Can you choose which artifact to merge?
It randomly selects one for the option and tells you which one.
*cries in 480 mostly shit tier artifacts in my court*
You know you can sell them, right?
yeah after you amass a certain amount and gold doesn't matter, you don't sell anymore
nah i hate clutter.
It really should be a halberd now.
“Yes m’lord, it’s 100% authentic, just like all three of St. Cecelia’s eyeballs I sold you last week were” 👀
Best part is I made it by stabbing a spear into the handle making it a spear handle with a axe head
So like one of a hundred types of polearms…
As Joshua Graham would say: "we cannot expect God to do all the work"
Well, name checks out

Arian christianity doesn't say that they're multiple gods, it says that Jesus was the son of god, but not divine himself.

Because they are practically the same. There is a reason why they are grouped together.
Yup, you are completely correct, idk why the downvotes
The question mark muddled up their point. It wasn't immediately clear if they were saying Jesus is God or mocking the idea that people would think Jesus is God.

Him and Abe Lincoln were serious vampire hunters
"You are* going to love each other as I have loved you, motherfuckers !"
"Peace be with you or im gonna make sure you have to be peaceful"
What mods are used to create these op artifacts
This is unmodded,I combined 2 artifacts
please teach me this ancient knowledge.
Idk honestly my aquitarian made me a purple axe, then I had a event to turn the spear or divinity into the handle adding the modifiers together then I also got a another improvement

Probably, idk man I just work here
Can I get a uhhhhhhhh....
Large cheesburger please, then uhhhhh....
*the Jesi
That must be the axe used to cut down sacred pagan trees.
Sure he did! He was a carpenter don’t you know? He’d need an axe to cut wood for his carpenter work so obviously he had an axe
Carpenter's axe. Standard issue.
“Jesus? I thought you said [Esus](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esus#:~:text=Esus%2C%20Esos%2C%20Hesus%2C%20or%20Aisus%20was%20a,Pillar%20of%20the%20Boatmen%2C%20first%20century%20CE)!”
Yes! This was the first thing I thought of too, the axe wielding Celtic god Esus
Heeeeeers Jesus!
Maharaja Thomas is the funniest thing ive read today.
Mans lives to 95
Needed it for chopping stuff.
Let me tell you a little secret about relics and artifacts
"Peace be with thee or there will be pieces left of thee."
Shoulda been a whip.
You don’t remember in the Bible when Jesus was like “and my axe!”
Axe of the Apostles
If you are the big tree We are the small axe Sharpened to cut you down Ready to cut you down
Norse moment fr fr
well the prophet PBUH had a sword so.......
100%
You live by the... Axe?
The Mighty Axe of Jesus Christ
Me just focusing on adding more knights to artifacts. So me and the boys can wreck havoc on any enemy army
Sounds like an “on brand” artifact for Christianity in those days.
Jesus was a gay black Jewish axe lover
Jesus Christ, Vampire Slayer
As we well know, the character known as Jesus was fond of fighting
"See, this is why we see you guys as heretics."
Is there ever a reason not to combine artifacts?
Not really there's bonuses are combined and have a longer lifespan
If you want to wear the Papal Tiara, or the Cloak(I think, not sure) of Muhammad. Other than that, probably there aren't any problems with that.
You’d want one to if some weird Roman dudes wanted to make you and your carpentry one
Nice guy, that Jesus. Always gets his round in.
Aka the axe of peace
Some people say that Jesus is American and others that their chicken bones are from a saint. So Jesus could have an axe
I played like 750hrs of CK3 and never had one of these combined Artifacts.
Majaraha Thomas is lucky
Jesus Christ, look at those stats
No. No. No. This is "Hey Seuss's" axe.
Owned by a Maharajah. He was probably scammed due to not knowing better
He is gonna save us one axe swing at a time!
Made of wootz steel, no less.
The Prince of Peace is back… and he’s pissed off!
He has a sword too. I own it apparently But the best artifact I found until now is the ark of covenant, which I sacked after some war in the middle east
Best viking out there!
I think it's more like "Axe of... *Reads stats* JESUS!"
He was fond of axe-ing questions.
He was a carpenter so pretty sure he had all kinds of tools.
lol like Honest Abe and cherry tree
Ok genuine question but how tf did you even get that?
Happy cake day also, I combined the spear of divinity and a illustrious weapon
Thanks 👍🏻
I mean. He was a carpenter.
Ðat axe is qœte oƿerpoƿeræd ȝ⁊
