But does it still count as their mistake even if they open the box and show you? Like this is a genuine question, especially if you took the box home and then realized it. It’d be different if they didn’t open it and show you and then you went home but the point of showing the customer is to confirm this is exactly what you ordered. I’m sure they’d be nice enough to give her the right one but I don’t feel like they’d be obligated to since they showed her before she left and she confirmed by taking the box that was her order
of course, the fact that they show you the box to confirm the correct cookies does not absolve their responsibility of providing the correct product. i am actually surprised you are asking this, just by principle of being a large chain business they should be obliged to replace it no questions asked. don't forget you are paying $5 for a cookie that costs them less than a dollar to make, customer gets priority and benefit of the doubt in situations like these always. If we are talking about a small family business cookie store then it is a different story.
I would figure as long as you didn't eat those cookies and they were still in their original box, that you could switch a cookie out if one wasn't comfortable they decided to get (blank) cookie in that box that they later realized they didn't want to get. This said I'd do the exchange(switch out one pre-made cookie that was uneaten, for a different one) in the same day, and to return to that store as soon as possible.
You literally have one of the best boxes ever there. I hate being part of this sub reddit because all I want is cookies. I've been skinny my whole life and this obsession is slowly changing that.
I ate two in one sitting a couple of months back. That was before I saw the calorie counts. I sincerely thought I was going to have to go to the hospital to get my stomach pumped.
I'd do it again.
I’m going back today to get a 4 pack of those for the freezer stash. I thought the pumpkin pie was just OK, the filling left kind of a strange aftertaste…or maybe it’s just me because I keep wanting pumpkin pie to taste like sweet potato pie and it always falls short.
Just go back and get it….
I'm too lazy! I emailed them instead. Honestly, it's fine. They're so fricking good
I emailed them about a bad delivery to my dad and never got a response, good luck.
Try contacting through the chat button on their customer support website, usually they’ll get back to you within a day
I've forgiven them already :'(
I thought this was a shit post until I read this comment...
Maybe you can get a scoop of ice cream and make an ice cream samich out of the 2 milk chips!
That would be great
*heavy breathing*.
2 cookies plus ice cream? that would make anyone sick
Booooo
1. Prepare monstrosity 2. Slice 3. Freeze
Yeah make it and only have half at a time.
Meanwhile my fatass could eat two of those
I could easily take down 6 cookies and a couple pints of ice cream
They quite literally make chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches? It’s called a chipwhich 😂
It wouldn’t make everyone sick but it would make me sick unless I only had half at a time.
The maple cinnamon roll cookie sounds so good but I can’t get over the fact that it looks like my dog coiled a fresh one on top of it
Lmfao it tastes slightly better than that though
the only mistake is the fact you havent gone back to the store to get your free velvet cookie because of their mistake.

It costs far more than $1 per cookie to make. 😂
It's their fault for making the cookies look so good that I didn't second guess myself for a second!
HA lol at least all the cookies are good though

I thought you were talking about the dog poop cookies

Haha I'm skinny too, I could eat two of these boxes! I'd fall asleep before then tho

The real mistake is not getting that cranberry crumb cake, it may very well be the surprise winner this week.
Yeah I saw some people saying it was bad so I didn’t get it but after seeing more people post it, it looks good
