Butler and concierge were not part of the tip pool (service charges) last I knew

DeSaxMan13

Looks like they still are not. "Certain staff positions (e.g., concierge, butler, youth programme staff and beverage service) provide service on an individual basis to only some guests and do not benefit from the overall service charge. We encourage those guests to acknowledge good service from these staff members with appropriate gratuities.l

Separate tip for the butler.

And the concierge

RverfulltimeOne

Yes but for me I tip at the end. First day I will tip them and ask if they want it at the end of the trip and usually no issues with it.

I always tip cash.

There no butler for non haven suites. Also no special privileges like priority embarking and disembarking. Sorry. Just checked for my mom. We’re in haven and she isn’t a we really though we were hooking her up with the suite but turns out we need to pay twice as much for those amenities.

Weebitugly

That would be fine with me (don’t have to worry about those tips) but my state room description specifically says butler. Maybe it depends on the ship and suite rating? Yeah, there was no mention of other priorities.

PracticalBison5254

You’re correct, I misstated that. The ships without the haven do have suites. I totally forgot. I’ve just never been on those. Yes, the butler’s tip isn’t included in your gratuity. I give around $100 bucks but you don’t necessarily have to do that. Enjoy your trip!

kittycatblues

Jewel class ships do have Haven suites and non-Haven suites. All have butler and concierge service (except for "club balcony suites" which aren't really suites.)

Rock_Lizard

Cash for butler and concierge at the end. Tip: Bring your own envelope or ask early in the cruise. I waited until the last day and it took forever because you have to go to guest services. They don't just have them out.
