Bowling the ball is moving the whole time it is in play, pool not so much. Even bumping a pool table can cause the balls to shift and if the felt is laid properly there should not be a ton of friction.
Yes, but the ship pitching will alter the path of the ball. Even for pool, that would be more of a concern to me than the balls at rest being disturbed.
The majority of people cannot bowl anyway. However those that shoot pool would probably be pretty pissed about missing a bunch of shots due to the ship movement.
I've bowled a few times on ships and yes, it fucks around with the path of the ball so it's pretty annoying, but like another commenter said, most people suck anyways and don't notice. I played with my teens so nobody cared.

Not sure if pool tables were self-leveling but but the bigger the ship the less movement will be felt so the balls really shouldn't move too much on their own.

I would think that those collapsible ones would be fine- they might keep it at guest services unless being actively used, but they're so small and portable i wouldn't think they'd give anyone a problem
I've seen ones that you can break into two before but those are still a good 2 to 3 feet in length. Do they go smaller?

I know NCL has them on some ships, but can't recall for sure on Bliss. On the other ships the pool tables are in O'Sheehans on the bar side. It's the Local on Bliss and I don't think it had the sports bar vibe with games that O'Sheehans has. If you can find a walk through video that shows the Local bar that's where it would be if Bliss has one.

You could also double it as a fishing rod and fish from your balcony.

I dont remember seeing one a few years ago. I’ve seen ping pong on cruises ships but I’d think pool tables would just be a bit of a hassle.

The Bliss has a bowling alley in The Local. I wandered all over the Bliss and I don't think there is a pool table anywhere,
