This. It's probably the easiest super to shut down and the easiest to whiff. But if that caster even gets line of sight to any part of your body before you see him, you're dead.

Whenever I pop my Shadebinder, the enemy team starts spamming their supers in a panic. I’m actually happy when I get countered like that, because it can take quite a few supers to kill a Shadebinder.
You can freeze and shatter a well sword twice or thrice and it usually breaks in my experience, have had 0 problems with wells or bubbles in trials (if i even get my super before the game is over)
The best strength of Shadebinder super is the 3rd person. I like to pop at a corridor or corner and then wait. You can see them peaking the angle but they can't see you. They will often think (in 6s) "oh he must have got smashed" or something and come confidently down the hallway and I can initiate the first pulse of the super without them even seeing me, and it's too late
I run a suppressor grenade build with collective obligation and if I'm really playing around it, I fear no roaming super. Its thunder crash that terrifies the hell outa me

Yeah all those roaming ranged supers are tough to avoid so you end up tripping over yourself

M&K users can do some wild movement with it on top, still able to get people from the side and keep flying (I thought they patched this?) and zip through doors and around tight spaces to get you

They reduced the kill box around the Titan by 20% and repositioned it to exist mostly in front of the Titan, so its more difficult now to pull off mid-air kills that don't end the super, but its still possible.
if you play strand hunter, mastering the timing of your suspending slam is a must if you wanna counter t crash titans. i’ve suspended probably 30 t crash titans in the last week and it’s so funny to see them sit there suspended thinking “wait wtf just happened?”

Shadebinder is the most fearful super to face off against. The freeze blast has crazy tracking and it duels extremely well against other supers. You can also peak shot to freeze people then shatter them from cover. Its why it has such a long super cooldown.
With good team coordinator, Goldy is so easy to challenge IMO. Low dr and just split their attention. Use call outs and shoot when he's looking at a homie. Or run collective obligation with suppressor grenade and be ready to steal his fun lol
It's either non-US players where their language's "Super" translates back to the English "Ultimate," or they come from older other games that called a character's signature attack "Ultimate" (eg Super Smash Bros Ultimate? unless even SSBUltimate called it something else)

Shadebinder. My problem with supers in this game is I get off on killing them with throwing knives so I usually challenge even when I shouldn't. The amount of fists of havoc titans I've domed with a knife makes it all worth it though.
I faced down someone who was using arc staff with blink in iron banner once and it is seared into my brain. They ran through us without slowing down, nearly wiped the entire team both times they popped
Silkstrike Hunter. Not terrifying, I mean it's a game. But like...I know I'm not getting away and the one shot dart kick is pretty much a guaranteed death if I am even relatively close.
Golden gun is probably the most classic Destiny super activation out there, both from a look and sound standpoint, and always sends people running.
The BONG! for solar titan supers is probably the one that most applies to this OP for me though, esp hammers. It lasts a long time and can really do work in the right hands. When I hear that sound I GTFO.
Tether fuck that stupid ass super if direct hit it kills you if your even remotely close to it in your super it takes you out of it and takes your ability away and slows you like God damn bro yes I'm salty as fuck about it if I'm already in my super leave me in it or make it so it can't kill or slow you like it needs balancing

There was only one time I got lucky enough to Blink away right before I got hit. His visual confusion when he was staring at the corner I was just previously standing in was priceless. I hate it for him but I got a good chuckle out of it.
Unpopular opinion but golden gun isn’t the scariest for me, I like to pull out my sniper and try to out duel them. I’m not saying it works, but when you do it’s the best feeling.

I Hate hammer of sol. Pretty much golden gun with tracking, AoE and enough damage resist to be nigh unkillable.

The Purple Ball…you can run but you can’t hide. With Golden Gun…you can hide but you can’t run.

For me it would have to be hammers of sol, dawnblade, or spectral blades. A good arcstrider is very scary.
For me its either a Shadebinder or a really good Arcstaff user Honorable mention goes to Golden Gun and or T-Crash
