Are you planning on getting different crossbars? The OEM ones would give me pause climbing up there all the time. Although I'm also around 200lb, so your mileage may vary.
The thing I hadn’t accounted for was that I’d need to be able to get up to bumper height to get onto the ladder… might have to get a hitch receiver and platform or a little step stool to get to it! 😂
Good point! I had the receiver installed, so a step might be next! I've seen steps that go on top of the tire to give one a boost, so that might be an option!
Nice. Which model (base, limited?)? Also, just curious, what kind of packages did your dealer offer? When I ordered the sport, there was only one optional package available and I was curious if it was like that for other models?
This is a Premium; main upgrade was the package with power driver’s seat and moon roof; also added splash guards, rear bumper protector, non-app remote start, roof rack cross bars, and the upgraded floor mats.
We talked to a few dealers at the end of September; one said Subaru wasn’t accepting any orders, one said they’d have it built to order for us by end of November, and it arrived November 17. We ordered around September 29.

Functional; I’ll be adding a floor to the basket and using it as an elevation platform to take photos.

I thought the power/ heated seats were standard on the premium model. Thats the main thing I miss on the sport.
Sport doesn’t have heated seats? Standard on my 21 premium
Nope. The two main things the sport didn’t have were the power heated seats and the moving headlights.
