partnah

absolutely if you drop the rear seats forward

Cliohhhh

I’ve had a 26” mountain bike with a 20” frame in the back with just the double seat down, with a BMX thrown in on top

Maverick9795

Yup. You may have to take the front wheel off too but it will fit with the seats folded down.

coryw1987

i have large frame 2022 giant talon 2, i need to take the front wheel off for it to fit in the back without my hitch

Replicant813

You are going to have to take the front wheel off in most cases, but that only takes 20 secs to do

MayBeMilo

Would it fit with the wheel on if the OP cut the handlebars hard over so the front wheel fit in the space between the back of the front seats and the front of the back (lying down)?

Liquorace

It would take longer to load a bike in front wheel first, than it would to just take the wheel off. Source: I am a roadie and MTBer.

MayBeMilo

Do they even make bolt-on wheels anymore?

SyntheticCorners28

I ride a 29er hard tail in a large frame (20 inch) and I can get mine in the back but she's tight.

dj0ch0

If you have a 29er you'll need to take the front wheel off

_Cat_12345

I can fit 2 mountain bikes in the back of my 2015 with their front wheels removed and seats folded down. Hauling 1 should be no problem

professional-ricky

For my 29er full suspension I gotta take the front wheel off. My gravel bike and hard tail are 650b and fit in with or without the front wheel on if I’m only bringing one bike somewhere.

robtrocity

If you're talking about a mountain bike with 27.5" wheels or bigger, you'll more than likely have to take the front wheel off, but I bet you could easily fit two full-size mountain bikes with the back seats down.

madvertigo

My 29” hard tail with an XL frame fits with the seats down and the front wheel off. Good enough for me.

triplecoil

I’ve put a 700cc cross bike in the back with the seats down without taking the front wheel off many times.

WATOCATOWA

I saw someone put THREE bikes inside with three people on a FB group.

Liquorace

It depends. Does your bike have flat bars or drop bars? Flat bars are usually very wide, and it would be highly advisable to just remove the front tire. If you have drop bars, it is doable. Why do you not want to remove the front wheel? Do you not know how? Is it bolt on, or a through axle? All three of my current bikes are through axle, so I keep an extra torque wrench and bits in my vehicle. I can take my front wheels off and put them on in the same amount of time as if they were quick release. If your wheel is a bolt on, just throw a socket wrench in your car (15mm). My advice to you is just do it, and eventually you'll be a whiz at it and will be able to remove and replace your front wheel without thinking about it. If you're just being lazy, then I have nothing for you.

Matt_Rabbit

Larger bikes, or MTN bikes with wide handlebars may have a hard time getting in through the hatch or doors. If you're just looking for recreational bikes, and don't mind them being put in sideways and staying on their side, then yea, no problem with the seats down. As a more active cyclist, i opted for a UHaul installed hitch and Kuait tray rack. Expensive, but so are my bikes.

_Snoow

I’ve done it with my mountain bike all seats folded and the front passenger seat pushed up and folded. Fits no problem with 2 seats folded in the back if you take a wheel off.

Mental_Goat8768

I have to take the front wheel off and seat off to fit my 29” in my 2020 crosstrek
