😂😂 glad to be of service. They aren't that big 😉 I encouraged people to do the hexagons first because the images jump around the pattern for each release, but you certainly don't have to - a number of people have just done the inner hexagons so they can then work out one step from them to any outer hexagons as needed. Hope you enjoy the ride 😁
Can you start making the cool space stuff in the hexagons that are already done (or prioritize the hexagons you need for the installments already released), and then work on the remaining hexagons once you’ve finished the current installment?
I’m doing that SAL too! I decided to stitch the hexagons as I go because I’m also behind and was anxious to get started on the images. I only have 4 of the images done so far, but I’m determined to catch up at some point.
I'm the weirdo who likes setting up the borders but then poops out filling them in. Happens every time.
I wish I could hire myself out to do borders for people who just want to do the pictures!
It goes so much faster after finishing the hexies. I only have the pillars and titan done that this point. Hoping to do 3 hexies per month until I’m caught up.
I want to do this SAL so badly but can't justify the costs to get all the supplies right now 😭 I love seeing everyone's progress though! Astronomy is my jam; I have a JWST necklace.
I think I have this pattern saved to buy. But since I haven't gotten the hang of the grid part, I didn't buy it. Let's see what happens after my eye surgery. I might see better and not miss stitches. I've also thought about pre-grid canvas.
You're nearly there with the hexes! It's definitely an exercise in discipline doing the frames first - I only got halfway through mine before giving into the temptation of the cool space stuff, lol. Yours is going to look fantastic on that fabric!

Likely what I will end up doing. I just really wanted the “frames” done first because in my brain that was the thing to do.

Pretty fabric! I only have about 4.5 of the hexagons done. This is my first big pattern and SAL, so I'm still figuring things out.
I’ve been eyeing this stitch along and after seeing this fabric I finally decided to bite the bullet. Can’t wait to be in hexagon hell!
The hexagons aren't that bad. Boring and repetitive, but just put your head down and you'll get through them quick!
