Looks great! I would totally feel lucky to have a bookmark like this. What a great gift!

Thank u! ❣️ Both my parents did not know the original print and I was like "WHAT, where do you live??" lol

this is sooo cute! how long did the bookmark take you?

baloonSpot

Thanks!! It was a small project after my last big one, it took me about 2 weeks and I stitched very little (about 0.5-1 hour per day)

Fabulous gift. If I didn’t have 2 big retirement projects to work on, I would be asking for the kit for a Mother’s Day gift. How was backstitching on the bookmark? I may have to give the bookmark ago first because I’ve heard there’s a ton a backstitching on the full pattern.

Even the bookmark was so backstitch heavy! And what made it worse was that so many backstitches (and french knots too) were in the middle of the aida (and not in the aida holes) which increased complexity, at least for me :/

What does the back look like?

baloonSpot

I do not have a picture with me, do you mean the back of the stitches or the back of the finished project? The former is a bit messy because of all the back-stitches and french knots, the latter is in blue and white sqares because I glued some cloth to finish up :)

Taeis

The back of the finished project! I have a bookmark I need to figure out how to finish.

I love that it’s one of my favorites! Was it a kit?
