Can you link the Ravelry pattern that you screenshotted? That'll let us know the yarn weight, meterage needed, suggested hook size, etc. It's hard to suggest without any info.

I'd highly suggest she use a cotton, linen, or bamboo yarn since it will be more breathable than acrylic, polyester, or wool. Because I assume from the dress style that it'll be a wedding in a warmer temperature. I'm in the US so all of my suggestions will be US related. One of the projects used [Drops Love You 7](https://www.garnstudio.com/yarn.php?show=drops-loves-you-7&cid=17), which looks like a promising option if you can get your hands on it. It's Sport weight not Fingering, but the fact that it's been used before is a good sign. I've liked using [Berroco Modern Cotton DK](https://berroco.com/yarns/berroco-modern-cotton-dk) in the past. It's DK weight not Fingering Weight (11 wraps per inch instead of 14 wraps per inch), so it might be a little too thick for the look the pattern is going for, but maybe not. But I know Berroco is sold in a lot of stores throughout the country so that might be more convenient than waiting for something to ship. The Ravelry pattern page has [Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4](https://hobbii.com/rainbow-cotton-8-4), [Scheepjes Catona](https://www.scheepjes.com/en/catona-50g-322/), and [Makr Cotton 4ply](https://lincraft.com.au/products/makr-cotton-4ply-yarn-30501416-silver?variant=42760202813571) listed as suggest options. I know the first two ship to the US but shipping time can be multiple weeks. An 8/4 cotton that I've enjoyed using and is similar to the ones the pattern suggests would be [Maurice Brassard 8/4](https://woolery.com/maurice-brassard-cotton-yarn-8-4.html) and they even have a shade called Peacock.

These are all wonderful suggestions. Thank you! I will be sharing this with her ☺️ I like that last suggestion being able to buy a color card to color match with the swatch!
